Zylver gently put a hand in Shinji's shoulder. It was warm and comforting.
"You messing with him means messing with me. And I have to tell I have a pretty sharp memory."

Shinji looked up at Zylver and smiled happily as the group frowned. "Oh yeah? And what are you to tell us what to do? If we want to play with him." The guy said as he pulled on Shinji's arm harshly. "We will."

Zylver's eyes shone bright red, fierce and somewhat scary.
"I'm the one who's in debt with him for so many things like bringing me back to life from a quite long slumber. I'm the one who's gonna protect him. And you..." he said pointing to the one who was grabbing Shinji and then to his wrist "you would find it wise letting him go before I become more angry than what I already am. Because if I'm not scary enough now, I can be it much more"

The group looked at him like he was crazy and felt a shiver run down them as they stared at his eyes. The one holding Shinji's wrist let go then the group left mumbling to themselves. Shinji sighed in relief then looked at Zylver. Thank you.." He said softly.

"I wouldn't have done less for you." he said, his voice gentle and caring again. "Lily warned me, she has good eye for things"
Zylver caressed Shinji's hair, making it on its right place again, and he himself did his best to cover his ears again, not that it was of any use as their pointy tips peeked through the silvery hair.
"She's inside, with the Boss reading butterflies things to her"

Shinji nodded as he smiled and leaned into Zylver's hands a little. "Really? Thats good. She really likes butterflies. I think its because of when mom and I showed her one that was just hatching from its cocoon."

"I'm back boss. Thanks for taking care of the little lady." Then he turned to Shinji.
"We'll be closing in less than an hour. Call your mother to tell her you and Lily are here and will come home with me, if you wish. It's friday and there's not gonna be much people around at this time of the day."

"Welcome back." Ji said as Lily waved then returned back to her book.
"Alright." Shinji said as he went to the window and used his cell phone to call his mother at work.

They worked and Lily looked at the butterfly book until the closing time arrived. They al helped the boss closing the store and Zylver said farewell and until monday.
They went home, Zylver walking side by side with Shinji and carrying a happy Lily sitting on his broad shoulders.
As they walked, Zylver's hand brushed gently against Shinji's.

Shinji smiled as they walked. When Zylver's hand brushed against his hand, he blushed lightly but didn't complain and kept his hand there before wrapping his hand around Zylver's.

Zylver gently squeezed Shinji's hand, and they walked hand in hand until arriving home.
"Is your family already here or are they going to be late today?" he said as he helped Lily down and she ran upstairs to leave her things, giggling.

"I think the twins are home." Shinji said and as if on que, they both tackled hugged their brother; almost sending them all to the floor.
"Hiya big brother!" They said in unison as they both gave him a kiss on either cheek then waved at Zylver.

"Hi there waterdrops, is your day been nice?" he said as he took off his shoes and walked barefooted into the kitchen, looking for if was any note from the older women from the house about if they'd gonna be late or anything.

He said that and went straight to the garden.
