Katmas continued to stare at the man blankly. He continued to look at the man blankly. And still continued. He finally noticed the blood on his shoulder. He stuck his tongue out, licking the blood. "Sir. There's blood on my shoulder but it tastes like my shirt. Is this a problem?" He said cluelessly. He knew it wasn't real blood. It didn't taste like blood. He looked back at the man, still clueless.

"Gah!!" Sora screamed out as the hand grabbed her and dragged her to the edge of a very tall and very scary cliff. Her reaction: "Let go! Let go! Let go! Let go! Let go! Let go! Let go!!!!!". Yeah, she probably wasn't what Gentou thought of as ninja who was going to "protect our village from invaders." Finally, though, Sora realized that she had been dragged away from the cliff and released from the clammy grip of the iron hands. She managed to calm down.. for about a millisecond before her sensei's next prank. Dreading what she would see after Gentou's most recent joke, Sora forced herself to turn and look at her shoulder. Her eyes growing wide in horror, the girl managed to utter a weak, "H-huh?!" as her face turned a deathly shade of white. Normally, she might have been able to piece things together and notice the absence of any pain but... after the little stunt from a moment before, the girl's mind wasn't exactly processing much.

 Gentou half stared/half kept an apathetic expression. One student, the boy, didnt even seem to show fear at almost being dropped off the side of a cliff, and had absolutely now knowledge of what Genjutsu was. Sora, on the other hand, was.......well, Sora, for lack of a better description. Sighing at both student's foolishness, Gentou charged chakra into his hands, placed one hand on each student's foreheand, and said "Kai!" dispelling the genjutsu. "Alright you two, That technique right there is one of the ones that WILL scare an opponent sh!tless, but it's quite weak. Still, you need to start with the basics. This is a sight genjutsu, so focus on the optical center of the mind when you perform it." Gentou then made two Raikou Bunshin, one for Sora and one for the other boy. He just hoped the other boy even knew what the heck genjutsu even was, otherwise he would have to explain how to perform it.

Sora had been on the verge of fainting… again. Luckily, though, she was kaied out and managed to hear that the blood was only a genjutsu before she collapsed, which resulted in her bouncing back to her usual enthusiasm as if nothing had happened. "Oh!" the girl expressed happily before listening avidly to her sensei's complete explanation of the genjutsu. The illusion seemed fairly easy to understand. It was similar to the genjutsus that she had already learned, but much more concrete and focused on a single sense. Now that she knew the basic concept behind it, Sora was more than eager to try it out. Forming the necessary hand seals, she muttered, "Ikamono Chisio," just for the heck of it. Seeing the clone react to the fake blood that Sora had caused to appear on it, the girl cheered, happy that she was able to perform the jutsu on her first try. [1/1]

Katmas nodded his head. "Genjutsu is an illusion. I'm unaffected by most that have tells. A casual wound is an easy thing. Something I'm used to personally." he said, making the hand signs, he concentrated on the clone, extending his chakra, and connecting it with the chakra of the clone. He slowly began to hijack the clones nervous system. At this point, the clone had begun to freak out about the blood. Katmas shrugged, as genjutsu was not his sort of thing.

(Urban, I'm not accepting that as learning a jutsu. It has to be four GOOD sentences. Since your character has never in his life performed a genjutsu, you should go through the molding of the chakra, the taking over of the opponent's chakra......the works. So please edit that post.) Gentou nodded in approval of how well Sora seemed to be doing. She seemed to have recovered quite well from the episode with the Rokubi. And with her soon to be mastery of genjutsu, she would be the ultimate support ninja. "Alright Sora, I've got one more Genjutsu of this level, then I wanna develop your ninjutsu." Gentou said. Before she could do anything, Gentou had formed and was holding a rabbit handseal, looking at her straight in the eye. Neither ninja was able to move for an entire minute, until Gentou blinked and the Jutsu ended. "That technique, the Bouzenjishitsu, is one of the greatest techniques there is if you have a partner with you. As long as you hold a handseal and lock eyes, neither of you can move. Try it."Bouzenjishitsu no Jutsu (Stupification Technique) Description: The user locks eyes with the target and forces a hand seal. For as long as the two can keep looking at each other without being distracted or obstructed, both cannot move. When the user blinks, it's also over.

Sora had been about to punch the air in her usual, enthusiastic manner when she was caught by her sensei's genjutsu, forcing her to remain in a fairly comical pose with her arm about halfway extended and her mouth about half opened. When the illusion was finally released, she simply continued what she was doing and replied, "Yes and got it!". Turning to the clone that Gentou had made for her to use as a practice dummy, the girl began to form the same seal that her sensei had, before changing her mind at the last minute and forming a ram seal instead. Her teacher hadn't specified which seal should have been used and only one had been used so she figured that any seal would do fine. Even if she was wrong, she could simply try again. Locking eyes with her target quietly, Sora formed the seal and slid her chakra into the clone's chakra, distorting the energy and forcing her target to stay still. After a minute or two to make sure that she had managed to perform the jutsu correctly--actually, she just needed to blink really badly--the girl released it and smiled at her sensei. "Was that good enough?" she asked, hoping that she had done a good job and would be allowed to move on to the next jutsu, whatever it was. Training helped keep her busy, in both mind and body. Busy was good, it always was, but especially now.

Katmas watched the hand signs, then getting a clones attention, quickly performed the hand signs without flaw.
The clone had no time to react, as Katmas was too fast. he extended his chakra to the clone, again taking it's nervous system over.
The poor clone stood there, paralyzed. Katmas continued to stare into it's eyes. He blinked, freeing the clone. "Could another grab the paralyzed person, or injure them?" he asked curiously
(I'm not much for genjutsu, more of a punchy kicky kinda guy)

Arcus frowned deeply. He stared at the teacher who had showed up, and all but made a fool of the children he was teaching. He would've laughed, at the spectacle, except his jutsu training wasn't as easy as he thought it would be. He could tell what he was doing wrong....but he couldn't fix it.
He sighed and refocused. get....it...done. He thought, forcing his chakra to his feet, where the largest knot was. "Nawanuke No Jutsu" He whispered pushing the chakra from his feet into the rope. It began to untie and uncoil itself. Arcus grinned allowing the chakra to rise up within his body and push out enough to loosen the ropes further. He finally got to the last one, loosened it, and released the jutsu. He took the ropes off with his hands and wiped the sweat from his brow.
Nawanuke No Jutsu (Rope Untying Technique) Academy Student E ranked jutsu. 3 posts to learn -2 post training field bonus. Jutsu learned.
Arcus left the ropes on the ground and rushed to talk to the sensei. It would be much easier to become a genin if he had some guidance. "Gentou Sensei! um....my name is Arcus. I'm trying to become a genin, but so far I've mastered one genjutsu, and one ninjutsu. Also, I've no idea what to do after I've learned the required jutsu. Can you teach me? I was trying to learn..." Arcus fumbled through the scrolls he'd brought. "Anrokku no Jutsu, and one other one but I can't decide which" he finished.

----------------------------- (aww im late... that sucks. btw, isnt the fake blood jutsu only effective on the "user's body"??) ((btw it would have only been -1 post for learning jutsu before he showed up to train us. Thanks for that btw)) Nagisa was terrified out of her mind when she was grabbed by some strange earth-hands and dragged to a cliff. Oh, no are we being attacked? who is this guy. I really Hate this village!! she thought as a slight squeak came out from her lips, but the hands did eventually release her. "wait, we get to be trained? Are you sure? forget that kid, You are the most awesomest shinobi to ever exist in any sense of the word at all untill this time!!" she wasn't entirely surprised by the genjutsu, mostly because she had only just tried to learn it. Still it was a little startling seeing it done on someone other than the user. "Hey, what a coincidence, i was just looking at this jutsu!" she shouted. Once more she went through the handsigns, and forced her chakra towards 'the optical center of the mind' as the man had instructed. Blood slowly began to soak her coat around waist level, and a wound on her head began to bleed excessively. She stumbled forward, though it probably wouldnt fool anyone anymore like she had initially planned...It just didnt make sense to go through the whole process of performing the jutsu, and then stand like normal... the wound on her shoulder also had remained, since he hadnt released it. Ikamono Chishio training post 3/3 After clutching her waist for a moment, she stood up and shouted "ooh, ooh, can i learn that freezing people one?" she asked, blood still streaming down her forehead... ----------------------------- Current Quest:

(So many Genin! Alright here's how it's gonna go down. You will all introduce yourselves, then I'm gonna start on ninjutsu, then we'll move to the first stage of your Taijutsu, and I will review Genjutsu with whoever was inactive at the time. I will decide the order of how they're learned. If you dont like it, find a new NPC teacher) Gentou sighed at the academy students, Wondering why on earth the Raikage had made him a teacher, of all the people in the world. Since he was now training four people, he needed to get acquainted. Using his iron sand, he made four small hands that grabbed each student by the collars of their shirts, and lined them up in front of him. “Alright you guys, time for training in Ninjutsu. First off I need your name, chakra element, what type of ninja you want to become, and your reason for becoming a shinobi……except you sora, I already know about you, and……………the heck?” Gentou said as he looked at the aburame girl, then quietly cursed himself, as she had not undone the genjutsu. “Placing his hand on her forehead, he muttered “Kai!” and released the girl of the genjutsu. “Now then, before we begin, who here can resist electricity?”(If your character does not know their element Gentou will give them some chakra paper. And by resisting electricity, he wants to know if you know the electricity resistance training in the jutsu list.)

Sora had opened her mouth to reply as soon as Gentou was done talking, before she abruptly closed it when she was told that she didn't need to introduce herself. However, she was curious about the other students and so was perfectly fine with simply listening.

((OOC: don't actually worry about that, it's just her personality.))"...because it looks funner. My ninja type? I have always been interested in genjutsu if that is what you mean." She paused. So many people had gathered all of a sudden. She was beginning to get a little nervous, and her earlier excitement had began to tone down a lot. "My reason for becoming a shinobi? well, to protect everyone in the village as best i can." She had decided on the book answer, to avoid problems later. Only Katmas will notice... right? she wondered. "and I don't have any practice resisting electricity" ((thanks a lot for the training!! it's hard rping without any ninja skills. You can only introduce yourself and wonder about your training for so long... I'm going to just skip the chakra paper, seems like that would add a lot of work for you))

Katmas caught the lie. He glanced at Nagisa quickly, looking back at Gentou. (At some point she’ll figure it out) Katmas nodded, “Katashi Masaro is my name. Most leave it at Katmas though. Raiton of course. I’ve trained to fight my enemies up close, and close the gap between us as fast as possible. And to round all this off, my reason for being a ninja short and sweet, I want my name to be known through the lands for my Erratic Taijutsu skills.” He said proudly, grinning. “I might be able to naturally resist, but I figure it won’t go for long.”
