The Cerberus took to Roxanne without fail, it even licked her hand three times in a row by swing it's heads. As she reached for the book, the chain link that held it to his collar began to glow and fade away. There was only a select few people in this world that would ever have the ability to be given the book. Two of them were here together.

(Feel free to intro and pull characters or NPCs as you see fit, after all this story belongs to us all at this point. But if you have characters leave, make sure its obvious to the rest of us so we don't continue to interact with that character.) (And shouldn't the Cerberus take to Eric rather than Roxanne? I mean yeah she has a way with demons and the two of them probably grew up close to each other but Eclipse would have left with L&L and bonded with baby Eric as well.) With the disappearance of the chain holding the book in place, Roxanne fumbled to catch it before it could land in the ash covered ground. Oddly enough despite being a small book the novel had some weight to it. Roxanne made a mental note to take a closer look at it later and tucking it under her arm, returned to the main body of the group the cerberus following a few steps behind.

(((I was getting to that actually. I'd say Scarlett had him in her for awhile while Eric was with her, when she gave him away Eclipse went on his own way protecting both of them from afar. Possibly even Eclipse brought Eric to Scarlett after things went for the worse with L&L.)) The Cerberus obediently followed behind Roxanne. That was until it caught sight of Eric. It quickly headed for the knight and pounced on him, he knocked the wind out of Eric and began to lick his face and bark happily. "Hey, hey! Roxanne, get your pet off of me!"

(You, know I haven't found a good time yet to bring in a group of npcs i have been meaning to bring in.)
Michiyo looked at what was happening. "You know, as funny as this is." She said looking towards Roxanne and covering her hand which began to move on its own. She then moved back into the carriage and wait for people to file in.

"Odd... I've never see a cerberus act this way before. It would seem someone took it in and trained it like a dog." Roxanne commented, waddling over to stand beside the fallen knight and the face-loving cerberus. "Lets just hope it can keep up with the carriage because I don't imagine Firin would enjoy a rogue demon riding inside with us..." Roxanne added, offering Eric a hand up despite having difficulties bending over enough to do so.

Sheena, the snow lamia=============================================== Sheena kept blissfully asleep in cress' arms, every time she breathed out she'd give a little puff of white mist as her icy breath touched the warm air. Her cascaded white hair coming undone into a bed head as she slept. She mummbled a bit in her sleep, "I... want...pumpkin pie....zzz"
However outside of the carriage small spiders began to trail around the carriage. Before quickly leaving as a Dog sized spider climbed on top of the carriage just staring out at the group outside like a guard dog. On its back a skull design. Another would appear by one of the houses, and another few after that one. Theirs 8 yellow eyes could be traced to each of the girls affected by the curse with the exception to those inside the carriage. Their red eyes looked ready to pounce but stayed back a bit as if waiting for something. In the sky something Eel like in nature floated down out a view and disappeared like it dropped something off to watch. Firin always the proud paladin she was, well as usual ready to strike the hellhound down, though when Yuri had stayed her blade it made her frown. She sheathed her sword on her back scabbard before she waved to the group.
"I'll return quickly, I've got to get something." Firin said taking her warhorse by his reins and walking him to the stables.
Mayumi popped out from the shadow next to Yuri, holding a piece of meat.
"You want to feel them? they're moving now, I can swear this one is active as you!" said the ninja winking.

"Not sure there's a whole lot left to get..." Roxanne called after the expectant paladin as she helped pull Eric back onto his feet, much to the disappointment of the cerberus. However as she turned to yell that at the retreating paladin, her eyes caught a hint of movement atop the carriage. Pulling Eric close she whispered in his ear, "Don't look now but there is a very large spider atop our carriage..."

Once the dog was off of him, Eric found himself being helped up by Roxanne. She really shouldn't be doing that in her condition, but too late now.
The Cerberus whimpered some, was it so long that neither recognized him? There wasn't much time to wonder, he had to protect them from these spiders that snuck up on everyone. He growled at the carriage, given the word or noticing harm, he would attack.
"Spider? They aren't usually alone are they? What should we do about it?"

"Theres a handful of small ones, but one very big one. Easily the size of a small dog." Roxanne replied, slowly turning Eric around to face the carriage. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed the cerberus tense up in preparation to attack. It was then she noticed a smaller silver-metal chain with tag hiding among the cerberus' furred neck. (Don't want to do anything to violent yet as we don't know what Kurai is planning to do with her spiders yet.)

Sheena, the snow lamia=============================================== Sheena continued sleeping as the spider watched and waited, several others spiders were slowly weaving a giant web making a battle ground. A few more dog sized spiders made themselves known as they climbed around the web cutting off the exits. Their webs radiating an aura of magic as the giant spider looked into the carriage for a bit to see the passengers before leaving to stare at the dog. A voice hidden in the darkness began to sing. "the itsy bitsy spider... went up the water spout." Each verse of the song seemed to come from another location. As a spider drew closer to its first target Roxanne, another followed firin, then michiyo, followed by mina, mizuki, while the one on the carriage had it's eyes on sheena. The strange thing was they looked menacing but gave little to no intent to harm. They only seemed interested in the webbing, as they got ready to pounce on their target, as if to push them into the web and wouldn't stop until most the girls were in said web.=============================================== Summons: Carbuncle, Sir Mattus, Cuddles, petalia [OOC: ]

"Its the strangest feeling when I, the woman who consorts with demons and their like, is unnerved by large spiders..." Roxanne comments, keeping her distance from the spiders as her hand disappeared into her bag and grabbed the purple orb that contained her felguard Vilgax.

Michiyo sighed and looked at the spider. "We have no time for this." She said
looking at the one slowly moving towards her. "Uai qeby poddz sa uai sa nedd
swazy qwa qezw wyl wolt. zwaq uailzydb Abraxas" She began her chant as her
arm lite with flame then began to turn blue. "The oath I swore will not be broken
by the likes of you." Michiyo hissed. (the chant was in Rhefugi that translator is below. Those characters who might know the langauge go ahead take a look. Demon language translator)

Mina moved her self as close to the middle as she could. "I-I've never liked spiders." She squeaked, her hand going to her hip as she searched for her bag in fear, forgetting she had it hidden in her bra. Mina scrambled some as she tried to find her bag, not wanting to take her eyes off as many spiders as she could keep them on. "G-guys I can't fi-find my bag." She panicked.

Sheena, the snow lamia=============================================== The spiders stopped as the giant webbing was complete, magic coursed through each thread like a heart beat as a magic light trailed through the threads like blood in veins. Each spider seemed to trail the same voice making it come from everywhere, "now now... none of that. After all my larger pets aren't really a threat, well not as much as the smaller ones... And I don't want to harm your precious cargo. However if we fight I can't be sure what will happen to that," The voice was a mix between sweet and orderly it was like a bandit with the manners of royalty. However that would seem insificants when the carriage was beggining to be pulled up into the web with whoever was inside, it was like watching a puppet lift into the air by its strings a lot of smaller spiders hoarded around the carriage as if using that for hostages. Sheena was still fast asleep like a stone as she curled around cress. "now the people inside do not move, the boy... named... what was it Crest... no.... Cress! who is engaged to Sheena don't wake her." The spiders turned to the people on the ground, the voice seemed to specifically know sheena but not the others too much. "now who to start with... I know. Would the warlock please step forward and into the web."
