Sorry I haven't introduced myself yet gonk
Hi, I'm Archie~ 14, (FRESHMANNN :000) female, & I live in the Bay Area, California.( represent :0) I'm glad I joined this guild. It's awesome to see other fans of Dir en grey on Gaia.

I got into Dir en grey simply by searching for something to listen to, and my friend gave me a list of bands.. I really stuck with Deg because I really connect with the sound. :3 A lot of their songs are versatile & that's what I love about them. It's also good music to blast your speakers to in the car.. x3
I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE Higeki Ha Mabuto Wo Oroshita. Some people say it's too sad/slow of a song, but I love listening to it, even if the subject matter is a bit sad sweatdrop I also like Zan, Umbrella, Mr. Newsman, & Kasumi.. heart
also Obscure. Don't hate me for that. xD
My favorite album would have to be 6 ugly.
Do I have to choose a member? D;;;
It's a tie between Die, & Kaoru.
But I love them all very much. <3

Okay so I'm the newbe here. Just joined and all that. I got into Diru maybe 2 years ago. My fave member is Kyo *smexy abs* sorry. Anyway, I do love the whole band. My friends and I saw them live a few weeks ago at Alpine Valley, there I saw and TOUCHED Kyo, I'll give a minute for the fangirls...... 'kay well feel free to pm me if you wanna talk. Maybe when they come back we meet up for concerts.

I've been a fan of Dir en grey ever since I first heard them around 2001.
I think it was a combination of their GAUZE and MISSA albums that really got me hooked, the later albums just ended up keeping hooked wanting more and more. whee
I first got into Malice Mizer, so it was a little hard for me to come around to Dir en Grey. But I think it only took a day or two and I couldn't stop listening to songs such as: Raison d'etre, Cage, TSUMI TO BATSU, YOKAN, MASK, -ZAN-, GARDEN, and Byou[]shin all day long~
Those are the most memorable songs to me as well. But it didn't take me long to become obsessed with all their other songs released at the time as well.
Their PVs were something I really loved too which wasn't easy to get back then, lemme tell ya. xd
I had a 3 disc DVD player and I used to create VCDs with their videos and Malice Mizer videos and a few other J-Rock groups and just have them play all day while I was home.
Anyways, I ended up straying from J-Rock due to college, and anime; or something, I’m not sure what ended up straying me. sweatdrop I also ended up getting DSL around in 2003 or so and couldn't stop exploring online radio or video stations.
Lately though I saw a Dir en grey video, and was like, holy cow I've missed listening to them! Where have I been!
The last album I heard by them was Vulgar in 2003 I think. After that they didn't have any new music coming out for a while and I didn't really know until recently they had new stuff.
Anyways, I'm totally hooked on them again, like a fangirl or something. (to be clear I'm a guy - I just like the phrase xd ) And my girlfriend (Meggi) mentioned seeing this really good Dir en grey guild on Gaia when my interest for Dir en grey sparked up again so I just HAD to join. whee
So with all that in mind, I'd like to say...

Hey I'm hammmiiiiiiii melon. I'm a huge Dir en grey fan, of course, or else I wouldn't be here, right? Anyway I've been a fan for around a year and a half. I've seen them live twice, March 23, 2006 at the Wiltern, LA for the Showcase Tour and then in Kansas City for the Family Values Tour (I met Toshiya and Kaoru, and got Shinya's drummy stick :p Oh and I also licked Toshiya's waterbottle and touched a button off of Kyo's shirt. I'm a loser. Shoot me plox.)
My favorite song is Red...[em] and my favorite album is a tie between Withering to Death and Kisou, which is sort of weird actually since they're so different. But personally Dir en grey is Dir en grey and I would never cease to be a fan if they put out something I wasn't necessarily fond of (like what happened around Vulgar). Like for example I'm not the biggest fan of Macabre, but I still love Dir en grey. And I guess that's it about me. BERAFALAGA. Oh and my favorite fruit is gay guys. Nah I'm jaykay I like cherries in a can.

Hi. I'm hidesmuseum (That's my username because I'm a huge hide fan. and I never got to go to the museum, so I just put the two together.)
Been a L'Arc~en~Ciel fan for about 6 years. Diru fan for 2 and a half years. I first got into them when a friend of mine sent me Yokan, and from then on I was hooked. I can be a random person sometimes, but I am also funny and can be serious when I need to. If you wanna know anything else, just ask. (As long as it's reasonable, and...not creepy.) lol

biggrin Hi! I'm elfbane5, I've really liked Diru for a few years now, and I'm a spastic fan of Jmusic in general (except Enka, DIE ENKA, DIE!). Diru tho' is near the top of the heap. I love anime, and manga, and I enjoy drawing.
I regularly import music and DVDs from Asia, because I want to support the artists, so they will keep making more great music! I really like Diru's new album, and the DVD it came with.
I recently joined gaia a few weeks ago and have been settleing myself in fairly well. I teach Graphic Design at a Technical High school in the Southern Region of the US, where I play Jrock and Jpop every day. PV's ON FRIDAYS!!! (also Amvs, and concert footage). Though I don't get to play many Diru Pv's. sweatdrop Either due to language or imagry, or both. Oh, well.
I bought tickets to see Diru in Atlanta for the Family values tour, but after I got them, I discovered they wern't joining the tour yet. Grrrr. Oh, well, it was still fun.
Anyways, Yoroshiku! (god I hope I spelled that right!)

Well, My name is Loy. I have been a fan of Dir en grey since..yikes..5 years?
It was weird how I came across them. At the time I was a silly lil' teen stuck between that whole gothy stage so I listened to dark underground darkwave music (haha I still do on occasion sweatdrop )
Well, my best friend showed me a Japanese rock magazine that he got in Japanese class. And what I saw was a picture of Moi Dix Mois. I thought they looked amazing! So what did I do? I went home and looked up their music. Let's just say I wasn't impressed....I like them and all, but Malice Mizer is more my style when it comes to Mana xd
However, in that searching Process I came across Dir en grey naturally. At first I thought they were females...haha so I wasn't interested because I like male voices...........
In the end, it ended with me asking another friend to just find a bunch of Jrock music, stick it on a cd and give it to me....since my computer at the time was too slow to listen to more than 5 seconds of music at a time xp
The cds he gave me were Malice Mizer, Dir en grey, and Gackt mixes (don't ask how Gackt got in there, lol blame my friend whee )
I listened to Malice Mizer and fell in love with the whole dramatic theatrical feel.....and then my cd changer changed to the next cd, and that was when I heard Ugly....my first Dir en grey song I have ever heard.....
And let's just say I was never the same again.... 4laugh
It finally all came down to me trying with all my might to see them at the FVT...and I DID! rofl and Dir en grey has stayed my favorite band ever since that fateful day xp heart
My favorite song is always changing...haha Like right now I'm really digging the Ryoukujoku no ame single and I really like Marmalade Chainsaw O.o
And I like Yokan domokun I know random
and I adore their Macabre cd....that's just pure love there for me.
So...as you can tell it's hard to pic a favorite song.....it's more of a just "What Diru Era am I feeling" that day 4laugh
Anyways, thanx guys, and it will be a pleasure to meet everyone here heart

I got into Dir en grey when I saw a look-alike thing on Cosplay Lab. That was like last year or something. . .anyways my favorite member is Toshiya!! My first song was Cage because of my friend (whom I got into Diru) and I think it was also the first PV. I like Obscure. . .a lot! Then it's 304, The Final, Cage, Saku, Embryo, but the list could go on and on and on and. . . .
