"Don't worry, you won't." Takiko wrapped her arms gently around him. He was diffrent from the others. His skin was warm, even if he was sort of part vampiric. Her head rested on his chest, her legs were between his. It was unusual for her to become comfortable so quickly. Finally, she felt like her worries could just wash away.

Jack wrapped his arms around her. The wound had partially healed. He smiled weakly as he looked at her. He sighed quietly as he rested his head back on the pillow.
"Good. You're all I care about right now."

Takiko smiled when she heard him speak. Her mind began to wonder on diffrent subjects. "Remember that concert we had..." She began, remembering she had played a violin. Not one of her best intruments, though she was able to play with him then. That was back when she was with Deo.

"Yeah... I remember it real well," Jack said, smiling. "I was singing with my friends, you and everyone else, you played the violin on Diary of Jane... everyone had a good time."
Jack laughed quietly as he continued to close his eyes. He wanted to stay awake as long as possible. It was difficult though. He was exhausted, both physically and mentally.
"I miss those days."

"Me too. I know I can sing a bit still... I don't know about violin... It was really a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing." It was clear from how Takiko's voice was getting groggier, and how her breathing had slowed. She was tired as well, and trying to stay awake as long as she could. Just so she could be with him.

"Really? That seemed like more than spur of the moment," he said weakly with a smile. "More like natural talent."
Jack was closer to blacking out. He opened his eyes slightly, barely being able to keep them open. He looked at Takiko again. He simply wanted to marvel at her beauty while he could still stay awake.
"You're probably good at everything."

"No... Not everything... I'm not good at keeping people safe. I could not keep you safe." Takiko blamed herself for Jack getting hurt. If she was more careful. If she did not agitate the lycan like she did. The lycan would never have been able to get hold her her, he never would have been hurt.

"Nah, that was my fault. I got cocky and didn't pay attenetion. I left myself open. There wasn't anything you could do."
Jack sighed loudly. He was probably going to sleep soon. He couldn't keep himself awake for much longer.
"Luck just isn't on my side."

By the time he spoke, Takiko had fallen asleep. Her arms remained around him, her head on his chest. If Takiko was awake, she would have possibly disagreed with what she said. Of course, Takiko knew of the age-old rule. Lycans hunt in packs. Where there is one, there is many more.

Jack saw Takiko had fallen asleep. He simply laughed.
"Damn."
He soon let his eyes close, joining her in slumber.

Takiko slept for hours on end, snuggling against Jack the entire time. Her face occasionally nuzzling his chest.

Jack awoke hours later. His eyes failed to adjust to the dim light at first, but they soon did. He looked around to see his home in shambles. He grunted loudly. He had forgotten about the Lycan attack. He looked over at his shoulder. What was once a shoulder with flesh missing was now just a shoulder with a minor gash. Jack then looked over at Takiko, who slept peacefully on top of him. He smiled as he stroked her hair gently. He knew she was tired. THey both were. He sighed quietly as he rested his head back on the pillow.
"Long night..."

Lindzi strolled into the district, her long aburn hair now pulled into a ponytail too keep it out of her face. She turned her hazel eyes bright and walked backwards as she waited for Bjorn to catch up. Her heels clicked loudly on the cement, and was occasionally muffled as her long jeans were caught under them. The vampire was not worried about losing her new found friend, her neon green shirt could been seen from a long distance.
It had been a long time sence she had come around this part of the city, well, any part of the city for that matter. With everything going on, she had stayed in her room reading about anything she could get her hands on. She could lose herself for days in a good book, and they were the perfect escape from her own dark reality.

Bjorn quickly followed her. He made sure he kept sight of her. He didn't want to lose her because he did not know where he was at all. Un familiar places lurked all around him. He was not used to seeing new places like this. olso was a big city but New York was amazing to him. The broken down buildings were more of a place for him. They were sad and forgotten. I guess I didn't dress right he said to himself as he was very cold. He lacked the ability that some vampires had to cope with their surroundings easier.

"I haven't been here for a while, so you'll have to forgive me if you don't find anything here." Lindzi said, slowling her pace for a moment to walk beside him.
"Las Noches...n or whatever it's called, should be open now too. You can get a drink there if you need to." She added, noticing her looked cold. Lindzi was pleasantly warm, but then again, tempeature never did bother her that much.
