Vertusk sighs. "Well, seeing as you obviously can't be persuaded to stop the madness and let another team of decoys handle it, I guess I have to be the mage who protects the warrior." He grunts. "I mean, enchanted cloak, defensive and offensive magics, you with.... no weapons. Someone has to protect your a**." But your mission Vertusk..... You can't die.... The words pop into his head. They were the words of Arion. Vertusk, you are well in love, you have the world to save, and this assassin is sending you to your doom. For Chrissake boy, come back! "Yeah and he is a friend too, so I let a friend die?" He says aloud. He looks around realizing he did. Vertusk, I am ordering you to come back to the city, please, for the world's sake! "Hmph." He grunts, and turns to Jairn. "So, where do I sign up?" VERTUSK! Don't ignore me! Soon, a portal is formed in front of him, and the old wizard steps from the portal, his knotted staff raised at Vertusk.

"I said, come back! For you could die!" Arion yells. His red cloak billowing despite having no wind to catch it. Vertusk raises his own staff, and so the duel was initiated. Arion screams at him, and then pounds the floor with the butt of his staff. "Dammit Vertusk, who is the one responsible for this god aweful mess?!" He turns to Jairn. "Take it as your own mission, you are the one who angered the beast, is it not so?!"

Arion smiles. "That would be appreciated." Vertusk slams his staff into the old man's knees. Arion falls to the ground. "What... HEY!"

"I am going with you Jairn... I don't want to, I mean, I barely got any time with Yuki, but I am following you. You need the help, and as a friend, I am going to not let you die..."

Yuki looked around to find Vertusk till finally she found him a few streets down. "Finally I found you, Dont scare me like that again." He came a bit closer to her and wrapped his arm around him as a showing of how he was sorry." Its alright, I'm not mad at you." she slowly felt his hand around her and blushed wildly. "You are my true one and I feel a deep love for you but I must know this though..." Yuki quickly turned around, grabbed Vertusk and pinned him to the ground. She gradually summoned some energy to change her eyes ruby red and her hair midnight black. He tried to stuggle free but yuki had a firm grip. "I love you with a deep passion, but I need to know if you love me back truely and deeply.". Yuki stared deep in his eyes still on him not having the urge to let him go. Soon after she lowered her head and tears were coming streaming from her face. "I cant take anymore rejection, especially like this."

Arion comes up behind Drako. "Their friend may be dead, but dude, let them have a moment before I send them to Sara... Come on!" Arion gabs hiim by the shoulder and starts to walk off.

Vertusk looks into Yuki's eyes, ignoring the other two. He spreads his body out, not fighting. He smiles. "Hehe I don't care if you have anything attached to your name. Your Yuki, thats how I see you. Attach Dark, I see Yuki, attach whatever, and I see you, its how it is." He just wraps his arms around her, and then stays there. Jairn, I am.... I will do what it is asked of me for you. I will go on for you... Seems the right thing to do.

I grumbled as Arion led be away. "Well we might as well start preparing. I'll inform you dwarfs, you gather the materials. It'll start right.....now." Even as I said the last word the mountain began to shake so violently stalactites and various rocks started falling from the ceiling, the city would be the worse for wear but it would survive to start the nation. I stared at the roof for a few minutes as the tremors ended, then looked back at Arion, who was still looking, "Well get on with it! Go! You need to get those kids to Sara and hurry with the materials!" I shooed him off and then disappeared myself to make preparations.

Yuki looked towards Vertusk and with no question nodded," Maybe its best we leave this place unless you want to be tombed here forever.""Besides Alantis is truly a fantastic place to go all the time and I really want to see it a little better. With finally a decision concluded Vertusk picked Yuki up over his shoulders and the two took off away from the now falling dwarve city.

Me and Arion met back in the dwarf city with the most skilled smiths among the dwarves, I was carrying the two fangs from Lojin'toram an Arion had with him the other required material, leather from the behemoth, bones from the leviathan, the holy water from an oracle, and the everflame from the heart of a phoenix. "Alright, you all know what to do." The dwarfs nodded their heads in unison and took the supplies to begin the work.
