Reaper watched her leave, (being sure that SHE didn't see him watching her leave), then turned and slumped back into the chair.
She was leaving. He didn't read her mind...he'd finally managed to control the whole not reading part...but he still had a feeling that she was leaving again.
That...that would be fine for her, right? The demon was in Edel's home. He'd probably be there for quite some time. And...no one else has disappeared lately, right? Some have actually come back. It would be fine....
...so why did he feel a little upset about it?
...ugh. Maybe it was just...everything getting to him. That could also explain why he felt so odd.

The next moment, Cat poked her head back in, her expression bright with sudden inspiration. "Hey, wait! You should come too! That way," she continued reasonably, "I won't get yelled at for being irresponsible, and you'll have someone to tell you when you're going overboard. Plus," she added, all completely unconvincing innocence, "I might be able to find some use for your teleportation stuff. You know. Just maybe. It's possible."

Reaper stared back at her for a moment, and blinked. "Um..." was all he could manage to say.
She...wanted him to come along? That didn't happen very much for him. Unless someone just wanted to use his abilities. Well, she did just explain that she did to. But still...this was different. This wasn't just to take advantage of him.
"Alright." he replied finally, standing from his seat. "Fresh air might help." he said, trying not to let his smile show too much. Didn't want to seem over excited or anything.

"Great!" Though she tried to keep it off her face, honest relief flickered briefly in her eyes. Was it weird that she felt safer with a murdering psychopath around? ... yeah. That was kind of the definition of weird. "Just let me get dressed," she added quickly, then turned and was gone again.

After she had left again, Reaper let his smile show completely. This...was such a welcomed change of pace. Finally. Something that seemed remotely close to good was happening for him.
...which meant that it was only a matter of time before he did something to screw it up. That's how it always went, wasn't it?

Sapphire had gone back to picking at the plate of snacks. Suppose she needed to figure out what to do now. She was safe, her younger sisters were her, but that was the most she knew at the moment. She wasn't sure where she was, or where the others were. She really, really didn't feel like going outside to find anything out though. Oh no.

Cat returned a few minutes later, back in costume and no longer the slightest bit sleepy. "Field trip!" she purred, her smile nothing short of wicked. What would they do first? This was going to be so much fun! No Danny to spoil it with his morals, either.

Reaper's smile returned as Cat entered the room. Her excitement was contagious. "Alright, where to first?" he asked. This was going to be so refreshing.

"Well, I'm always partial to jewelry heists; that's where I took Rosie, before all this happened. That said, since you're being nice enough to accompany me, you can pick our first destination, if you so choose." While she was speaking, she reached out and caught his wrist, seemingly not thinking much about the familiarity of the action, and started leading him towards the door, her expression still bright and her steps purposeful. She couldn't wait!

Reaper's cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "Well, I really don't get to do....this sort of thing very often either. You know what places would be best, so it's all your choice." he replied, his tone taking a very, very small sheepish quality.

She grinned at him, bright green eyes very bright; if she'd noticed the blush, it didn't show on her face. "Alright; I'll try not to disappoint, then." Cat gave the girls in the living room a jaunty wave as they went out the front door.

Reaper followed her out with a smile on his face, and the blush still in place. He didn't even glance over at the others in the room. He wasn't used to this...at all. But he really couldn't seem to care right now.

the younggirl was happy her sisters were safe but what to do next she was still in this strange land and she still didn't know where her nephew was ugggg this day was just the what day week year she had been here so long she didn't know haow long she had been there. how are you feeling misty

"I'm feeling...better." Misty replied, looking down at the young red-head beside her. Though her reply was without a smile.
Her younger sisters were here...and she'd probably have two more to watch after before too long as well. How was she going to do this? She didn't have her own place for them to stay, or a headquarters that was secure enough for children to stay at safely. And Gossamer was out there, Riku, Savage...wherever he was at now. Oh, what a mess.
