"All of it..." She said quietly, still breathing, still just looking at him. The experience left her extremely emotionally charged, so she could just imagine when it had done to Damian. She sat up on her knees, still on the bed, and brought Damian's head to her chest, stroking him slightly. She wasn't upset with anything she had just seen, just shocked. her heart was pounding and she was sure Damian could hear, but that didn't matter. The images flashed through her mind, good and bad. She could hear his thoughts, some of disgust, others of awe, others of desperation, all echoing through her head in his voice.
Richard smiled down at her, kissing her sweetly. "I'd like that very very much..." He said with a definate nod. "And if I end up sticking with this job long term, I promise I'll leave you a message before i leave every time, alright?" He promised, kissing her forehead. He did remember in the back of his mind, a recording he had of Rose that he would carry around. For years every night, he'd just play it over and over, until one fight he found himself in, he was robbed of his worldly possessions, the recording device being one. He would have killed the b*****d to ripped it from him, but he was knocked out unconscious before he could do anything.

Being held like that wasn't something that had happened to him for a very long time. He felt like a child again, being held tightly by his mother. He hadn't shown her anything else about his days at the Ball Room growing up, about his stuttering or anything. But it all came back to him slowly as he made himself a bit more comfortable being held, even hugging her gently as she stroked his hair. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "I know you saw some unpleasant things regarding you."
"I'll miss you terribly," she said, hugging him tightly. "But I understand. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?" Lorey put on a brave smile. Being alone would let them understand how much they loved each other. Messages would be sent, days would be recounted, and then everyone would come home. Lorey just hoped that Richard would always be around once they had a family started.

"Shhh..." She gently hushed him as she even began rocking him slightly. She wasn't sure why she felt she needed to...she just did. "There was nothing wrong with what you thought...nothing at all..." She urged in a hushed tone. "But...Damian..." She made him pull away just enough so that she could look at him. "Those other emotions....thats...how you feel for me?" She asked, a soft, awe filled smile broke through, despite tears that were starting to fall. The wave of emotion that had hit her when recent memories were brought to the fore... it was enough to make her heart swell. Damian did love her so dearly. She could have pressed to know exactly how much, but she purposefully started blocking it. She wanted Damian to express himself... not her dig through his mind and heart.
"Exactly...though I cant see how that's possible..." He hugged her a bit tighter, just taking in all that was Lorey. HE loved her so much, he couldn't fathom what loving her more could feel like. "My old heart my explode from happiness..." He joked as he smiled down to her.

By this time, Damian knew that when Raquel started crying, it was best to just let her cry, even if it was from happiness and the rush of emotion from the link they shared. "Yes... all that... confusion? And just knowing at the same time? All the happiness I found when you began smiling, and seeing you every day being something close to happy?" He laughed at himself. "I cannot express it, Raquel. You felt it, so you must know how it is." And he actually started blushing.
"You're not old!" she suddenly exclaimed, laughing. "What are we going to say when you get all wrinkly, that you're a living fossil?" She took his face in her hands and playfully squished his cheeks together. He was so full of life that he had to be described as young.

Raquel waited a moment. She looked away, thinking. Finally she spoke, actually composing herself a little, and stopping her tears. "Damian...don't...don't let me do that again...ok?" She asked of him, sitting down, and taking his hands in hers. "I can-...I can help you bring out memories that you want, or need to deal with...just- ...." She hesitated. "Not the emotions..." She touched his face gently. "I feel like I just robbed you of something...took soemthing away from you..." Even though she was aware she hadn't. "I- ....I want you to express your emotions to me...in your own way...." She said softly. That was probably it. She didn't want to know exactly how Damian felt about her by simple reading it for herself or experiencing it...she wanted Damian to take the steps he needed to with her...
Richard seemed to ponder comically for a moment before nodding. "Yes actually, that sounds accurate." he gave her his classic wink, feeling upbeat again. "Even then amidst our wrinkles and bad moods, you'll still look so much younger than me..." He laughed. "I'm more than sure you'll age gracefully..." He smiled, just thinking about it. "The only thing I'm looking forward to is the gray patches...In our family, there's a short window in our old age where we look truly dignified..." he laughed, thinking about the portraits of all the men in his family when they reached a certain age.

"Alright," he said. "I suppose it was just so much that I wanted you to know the easy way... but we never take the easy way, do we?" With that in mind, he took her and with a laugh, nearly tackled her to the bed in a hug. "You incredible half-Amaranthine who won't even use her powers..."
"And you don't look truly dignified now?" Lorey wanted to see pictures of him in his uniform, looking all professional and dashing even if the years in the service weren't happy ones. She also wanted to know about his past in the force more, just to know if he was honorable, and helped people the way they were supposed to. But that could wait. "Well, we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?"

Raquel couldn't help but laugh as well, pushing some of the books out of the way as she wrapped her arms around his neck, looking up at him with endearing eyes. "Hey, I don't know anything about being Amaranthine. I could melt your lovely mind, and that wouldn't be good now would it?" She smiled, cocking her head. "And besides..." She added with a sultry tone. "How do you know I haven't been using them hm?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes I suppose we will..." He laughed shaking his head. "Or you can get a little preview when we go to visit Mother...she's got pictures of father, who she swears I'm the spitting image of..." He smiled distantly, shaking his head.

Damian cocked an eyebrow at her. "Is that how you seduced me?" He planted a kiss on her jawline, then her lips before dislodging the spine of a book from his ribs. There would have to be a new policy about books in bed so no one hurt themselves. "And I thought that was all my own decision, too..."
"When will we visit her?" Lorey, tired of standing, pulled him over to sit on the edge of the bed. It would be time to sleep soon, so she wouldn't be tired for work in the morning. "And what should I wear when we do see her?"

Raquel bit her lip, letting him essentially do what he wanted with her since her was over top of her. "Oh hen who knows....I may need some convincing though, if it was indeed all you..." her eyes sparkled in the dim lamp light as she looked up at him. A flash of lightening and slight roar of thunder made her jump, but nothing more... she didn't want to ruin the moment.
"I was going to give her a call tomorrow sometime...or maybe just surprise her...I'm not sure yet..." he side, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "And one of your lovely dresses would be more than fine love... she'll love you.." He reassured, kissing her neck.

Another flash of lightning hit, but no thunder followed. The storm must have been dying out. Still. Damian dragged a thin sheet over the top of them to keep the storm out along with some warmth from the cool weather. "I think you'll find that I can be very convincing." Damian kissed her softly, and kicked another book out of the way. The worth of literature and the arts was definitely not going to be his concern for awhile.
"Surprises may not be the best thing," she said, getting up to the dresser to find some pajamas. She still had to shower, too, as she always did at night. "After all, who knows what's going on if you haven't spoken to her..."

Raquel felt like a child in a fort fora fleeting moment, until he kissed her, bringing her to the present. Pushing the last bit of books away and off the bed, she brought him in for a gentle but deep kiss, slowly working her way down his neck, then to his chest.
Richard nodded with a sigh, rubbing the back of his neck. "You're right...I'll call her tomorrow...." He forced a smile, leaning back on the bed.

*cough* xD
Lorey nodded, and went to take her bath, and as always came out smelling like lavender and sweet things. With slightly wet hair, she practically tackled Richard on the bed, making them both cry out in surprise from her sudden energy. "We'll show her how wonderful we both are."

whilewaiting for her to return form her bath, he hd heardmuffled giggles and slight crie from the neighboring room which was Raquel's. He blushed bright red, starting to whistle as he rubbed the back of his neck awwakrdly.
But Lorey rescued him from the lonely awkward moment, tackling him to the bed with a laugh. "Well, maybe one of us at least..." He smiled, tapping her nose with a c**k of his head.

"No no, you will redeem yourself, aaaand... we'll have tea and cookies like nothing happened." As stupid as it sounded, Lorey felt that having hope was better than none at all, and began snuggling under the covers as if she actually looked forward to it all.

Richard shook his head, snuggling in with her. "Fine fine, alright, cookies and tea...alright, I'll try to make that happen..." he laughed as he took her in his arms, sighing contently. He loved sleeping with Lorey so close. It was only rivaled by waking up to her lovely face.
