The second one started to siphon out, he was devoured by his fellows, torn apart and absorbed. the more they tore eachother, the bigger the remaining became, the sturdier, the more resistant. byt the time the crowd was reduced to one, it stood much taller then the elves around it. it's back and shoulders had larg protrusions of quartz and so did it's knuckles and fingers ending in small claw-like tips.
this one had a face, even as it had a more hunched appearance. a large set jaw, with bright aquamarine 'eyes' the shimmering unblinking. it even had a wide, flat nose that it sniffed for magic with...and it started pulling on Lhai's net with a renewed aggressiveness, though it was watching every move Ty made.
"You Feed Me."
and it seems it's intellect went up a notch or two as well.

"So you say, but I don't believe it." As Galesen moved, she caught sight of his naked cheeks and couldn't help a giggle. "Although, you do have to admit that it is funny. And you didn't even shoot me but the bird you shot knocked into me as it fell. You're just blessed, I suppose." Unsuccessfully trying to stop her giggles.
He rubbed the back of his neck and shrugged, not really pleased with the direction this conversation had taken. But Nessa's laughter was infectious and he chuckled as well. "Somehow I don't think Galesen would agree. Luc might, though. He has a sense of humor."
Nessa giggled again. "I think everyone does except when they had an arrow in their posterior."
"Cunning like a fox? I can see that." Snorting with a giggle at an image of him cavorting around like the fuzzy little animals he was speaking of. "My mother wasn't bad when she was pregnant. Maybe I won't be either. Maybe I'll just have to stay busy and you'll never have to cater to anything." Of course that particular subject had been on everyone's mind lately and she knew her staff was watching her closely. "Won't even lift a finger to order a plate of food, hm? I can do that for you. I'm talented like that." She slid out of his arms and then the water a moment later and walked over to a cubby cut into the rocks. Pulling out a bottle of wyne and two glasses, she strolled back. "Traditions must be kept."
She was holding her magic at bay out in the campsite and waiting to see what was going to happen next. Tightening the net as they started moving, she watched Ty and fed energy back towards his direction. And then it was cannibalism galore. "Way creepier..." She held onto her end of the rope, digging her boots into the ground but he was too strong for her. She began sliding, scrambling among the smaller pieces of rocks and straining to keep him enclosed in the net. "Ty...you're going to have to drain him entirely." Turning, she grabbed her magical rope and began slowly moving forward, away from the rock beast until she'd reached a small circle they'd used as a campfire. They were playing tug-o-war and she knew an easy way to win from that. Yanking again as hard as she could, using the rocks as a brace, she finally released the rope completely.

"Yeah you wood elves got it good, you and your high trees that allows you to adapt to those kind of things." Smirking a little before giving the elf a nudge and then looking back at the other two who were apparently giggling, and Galesen had a feeling as to what they were giggling about. "Yeah the arrow has changed my mood on letting Kyst with a bow and arrow, but I can trust him with a spear for sure, my bottom will have no fear of that unless he finds a freak way of planting a spear in there." Though Galesen was smiling as he shook his head, it was an odd day but a good one. "So Nessa, you were basically hunting the same thing we were huh?"

"I'm always the positive one, so of course I find humor in things most wouldn't. I have the sunny disposition. Like with this stuff, I dare one of you to smell it." Holding out his steaming mug, which he had been drinking like it was warm honey but the stuff in reality tasted awful.
He merely gave a pleasant chuckle and her teasing and implying. "Who knows, the pantheon may think me enduring your pregnancy with such ease would be something undeserving of myself. Never say never." Taking the items from her and pouring their drinks, toasting her with his glass.
"There is no longer a word to measure the amount of creepiness that is occuring." Lhia etting go made the creature of course topple his way and he broke his draining for a moment to grab his sword out and sink it into the thing between one of the many junctures in the rocks that made it up. A second later the balde was alight with siphon runes and Ty turned on the draining, instigating a contest of wills between the two.

The blade sunk in and lit up, and the golem started trying to feed on the enrgy of the runes even as they were siphoning energy from him, putting them at the moment at a stalemate. it was almost like a circut between the blade and the golem...before it grabbed Ty's hand, and started trying to absorb the magic inherent to the elf by making the elf part of it.
"I am hungry. I must feed. Domain must be protected."

"No, I wasn't hunting at all. Just out enjoying the sunlight and I caught sight of one of the rarer birds and wanted to watch it."
"The sunny disposition, right." Shaking his head with a scoff and then leaning over to sniff at the mug before frowning. "That's got that oil in it, doesn't it? Your mother gave that to me when I got stung by the jellyfish and it wouldn't stop bleeding."
"The pantheon doesn't have near the say it thinks it does in matters such as those." Shaking her head but keeping her voice at a low whisper, just in case. "Besides, you're royal. If that's not enough of a headache on top of being pregnant, the pantheon needs to look again." She took the glass from him and clinked it against his then sipped at it. "Nothing like this peacefulness to get rid of horrors of before. I'm so glad you were with me."
This was obviously not going well. Somehow they had to break him down without using magic and she was frankly running out of ideas. Lhia pulled out a mace and began attacking the arm that was holding Ty's hand. When that eventually was broken, she turned her attacks on his body, beating at his rocky self. Even the biggest of rocks could be crushed with enough force. "No food for you."

Galesen shook his head as Luccan decided to offer to take a smell of his drink. "No thanks, had the pleasant feeling of getting an arrow taken out of my butt, don't need to be put on it because of some weird smell." Galesen then looked back to see that a needle, some thread, and some cloth that matched his pants were left near by. "Excuse me guys, I'm going to fix my pants." So he gathered all of the materials and went to the room he was in previously and took off his pants; once he was comfortable he then went to work fixing the rather big hole that was left in them.

The golem had ignored the first bashings on it, intent on feeding itself...but when it's arm was severed, it backed away, pulling off the blade and it's countenance went from child that is hungry to violent and brutally angry. Lhia's mace hit stone body only a few times before the free hand grabbed the mace head and jerked the weapon from her hands, and the metal weapon was promptly dissolved into it, stone restructuring and the broken arm rebuilding from sucking in the broken pieces and ending not in a hand this time, but it's own blunted mace head that it swung at Lhia with tremendous force.
"You leave us alone! We will protect our domain, our realm. We need the food to make more. we need more to guard our domain in full. and if you will not give the food, we will take the food!"

"Yup. A nice whole cup of it with some other stuff mixed in. It helps, and I suppose you just get used to the taste. I drink about four or so cups of this stuff a day." He shrugged and continued to sip the concotion. "You should line your pants with chainmail." Chuckling because even Luccan wasn't above jokes.
"But you'll be both royal and pregnant so I think that you will still win and I'll still be the one on the losing side of the tug of war of wills." Though he was looking forward to a family with her, regardless of the hardship that may come with it all. "I am too. I don't like you going off alone sometimes when I have a bad feeling about it. I like to trust my gut and it rarely tells me wrong."
Obviously they were going about this all wrong here. Smashing it proved useful until it took control of the situation for Lhia and more or less turned her own weapon against her. Sheathing his sword he sprinted for Lhia, knocking her down and falling with her into the dirt and under the heavy swing, immediatly pulling her up and back to put some distance between them and it as he scribed a rune, the ground turning to quicksand under the golem. "We've got to find another way to do that. Earth and metals aren't going to do anything and as long as it can restructure we're not going to get anywhere."

Quicksand got it to look down, as it's weight made it sink relatively quickly and it grabbed at the nearest place that hadn't been affected by the rune. it kept itself about mid chest in the quicksand, but didn't do anything more aggressive. It didn't even have that violent look. just back to looking like a hungry dog or child. and it started to slowly try and pull itself up.

He looked horrified as he studied the mug and then shivered. Couldn't even imagine downing four cups of the stuff. He'd barely been able to get one mug of it down when his life hung in the balance. "I'll pass, thanks."
Nessa chuckled. "At least when Kyst is around." Her fingers probed at her head gently to feel for any lingering effects but his mother had done her job perfectly. "I suppose I should be pleased I ran into you. It's been a while since we've talked Luccan."
"It doesn't get much worse than royal and pregnant, I suppose. That just ups my ability to win to a grand scale for a full year." Which means he would lose for a year as well. She took another sip of her wine and let the water float around her. "I know. I really was planning on telling you I was going but I wasn't sure I had time to get you and go." Shaking her head. "No, that's not true. I didn't tell you because I knew you wouldn't let me go."
Her eyes widened and she tried to judge the arc of that swing to determine just how far she needed to move before she was crushed under it's blow. Ty took matters into his own hands and she hit the ground roughly and then was being dragged back. Scrambling to keep up, she nodded. "And everything magic-based he uses against us as well." Which meant it was time to figure out Plan B. "Can we keep him here or is he going to try to go down to Lucana to find more food as he calls it?"

Galesen came back into the room when he was done fixing his pants, it didn't look like there use to be a hole in them unless one looked very closely. "Well, there is no feeling of a draft so that's good." Galesen ran his hands down his legs to brush something off his pants before returning his gaze to the others. "Though what you said earlier bout the chain-mail is interesting, but I can't do it now so I'll get a tailor to make me one just in case we ever go hunting again." Though a look to Nessa and Luccan. "Really? If you two don't mind me asking, how did you guys meet?"

"Suit yourself Kyst." But he sipped from his mug before giving Nessa a smile. "Yeah well, I don't get out much these days I suppose. Though I'm on a forced semi-break right now so we can make plans." Nodding lightly at Galesen, "We used to take classes togther in healing."
"Little liar, but I love you anyway." He nuzzled at her lightly with a laugh and giving her a squeeze as he sipped at his wine. "I would have told you not to go only because that was a dangerous task for anyone. They use a buddy system in the mines for a reason."
"He won't leave here if we give him something to tap off of. I don't know if he'll make himself bigger or not. Quicksand at least seems to do something or other to slow things. I'll give it a siphon and then I'll cut the area off." Thusly generating a ball of energy that sprung him a new nosebleed and seemingly tossing it so that it went streaking down the mind tunnels for it to follow if it got itself out. Him and Lhia retreating he set up a moat of sorts of tar around the camp and the mine entrance. "Well then...we need a plan B."

It dragged itself out, and went lumbering after teh ball of energy, though the light illuminated a few others down the tunnel that were tearing apart the walls like dogs digging for buried bones...and the second the ball flew by they immediately started to follow it down the tunnel system.

"I've heard it said that Kyst is quite the hunter when it comes to a spear and under the water. It's the bow and arrow he can't find his way around." Giving a grin to the sea elf who sneered back before her attention flitted to Luc. "That and our mothers have always been good friends. Luc and I were in diapers together once upon a reverie."
"Somebody has to." Nuzzling him back and sighing softly. "My head knows that but my heart likes to tell me other things. And my intuition. And I suppose some silly need to prove myself capable that's only going to get me into trouble." She stepped out of the hot springs and reached for a towel, drying herself off. "I'm getting wrinkly and that means it's time to get out."
She watched Ty do his thing and had to bite her tongue to keep from saying anything about the nosebleed. He just shouldn't be doing things like that. "If you keep him distracted, it doesn't matter what he does in the mines. There's no one in there for him to kill." Glancing around for a moment and then packing up their camp. "I don't know what to do, Ty. Short of finding the jerk who did it."
