Feeling the tap on his shoulder he turned slowly, glass in hand, spotting Rayne he took a drink before responding, "Yes? What can I do for you today?"

"Well, I'm judging by your attire that you were the one who was in a match today.. But may I ask with who?" Just standing there, she blink some, some of his blood that was still running from noticeable cuts catching her attention.

Taking out some cloth he dabbed at the blood that was still flowing. "Sorry about that, and yes I did have a duel today, I was facing Jay. First time I met the man, very head strong and foolish though. Not much of a fight, it will be interesting to see us fight when my arcane abilities have increased."

"You faced Jay Kimache?! Did you win?!" She asked with a full out grin on her face. "And do you want some help with those?" Her question died off some as she sat down in the chair beside him, her completely taken by wanting the details of this fight.

He dabbed the blood. "Nah I'm fine, and yeah, I faced him. An interesting fight, but I won in the end, but he was a cocky little b*****d thinking he could have pulled a victory even when I had him on the ground at my mercy." Finishing his drink he sat the glass down to be refilled.

"Ah, I'm glad we think on the same level on him. He had it coming... and deserved it none the less." As the glass was being filled, the man behind the table asked her if she needed anything, her response being water.

"Water? Why don't you try something a little more for the occasion." He placed his now filled glass infront of her. "Come your happy to see Jay defeated, drink to it." Quin order another drink and sipped at it.

"Is it... alcohol?" One of her eyebrows slightly raise, but then lowered by the sounds of the drinks being placed on the counter top. The barkeep had brought both the water and the drink, but she wasn't sure which to take. "I've never had anything with alcohol in it..." Maybe that would be the day she would start though... he was right after all, she did want to celebrate some over his defeat.

"You don't have to drink if you don't want to, but I can recomend adding water to the drink if you don't want it to be so strong." He sipped at his own while watching her.

"Well... why change it? Might as well try it.." Taking the glass in her hand, she brought it up to her lips and took a gulp. Her mouth was dry... and she really wasn't familiar with the bitter taste. Slamming the glass down, she started to cough. "What is this liquid?" She hid her mouth with her hand, it just hovering over it, a sour taste, a funny look coming from her though.

"That would be spirits or whiskey. What ever name you would prefer to call it. You don't need to drink any more if you don't want to." Leaning back against the bar he dranked his glass, looking out of the windows, strange that he had defeated the man that was married to the owner of the bar.

"How do you like this? It's bitter and burns the throat... And why do you sip it?" She really didn't care for either of the two people, her loathing Jay and having mixed feelings with Pale. At the time she didn't give a flip about the two, yet their actions would clash in her mind.

"You see the blood, just imagine how sore I feel, the spirits dull the pain. And I'm not foolish enough to drink it all in one go, that would be a waste because then I'd end up drinking more then I entended." He sat his glass down empty, "Well I've had my shot, might as well make it home and get into some decent clothes."

"Pain huh?" Picking up the glass, she tried downing the whole thing, drinking a bit more than half. "Will you be all right? I mean going home alone in your condition?" She asked not really feeling any different. She knew that some people acted funny when they drank this stuff, but he just said it made pain go away...

"I'll be fine, I haven't drinked enough of the stuff to be drunk at all. Now you have a good day, I need to clean up a bit." Laying some coins to pay for the drinks Quin left for home.
