"Ah!" Cassie shut her eyes briefly when Kai snatched her up in his arms. she held on tightly with her arms around his neck. "Warn me next time you do that!" she yelled. *but it was kinda fun.* she thought.

Kai was tempted to know what she was thinking but he said he wouldn't so he didn't. When they were in the present he set her down on a sofa and closed the hole.
