Blaine hung back to think for a moment, "Nathan! We need to think of something." he said, remembering a certain aspect of his Light 2 Mysticker, it's ability to generate limited heat, perhaps he could use that to boost or support Nathan's own Fire 1 Mysticker.
He's already used about a second or so of the sticker's five second overcharge, he'd decided that he'd have to be careful on how he used the rest, "I have an idea!"

Crash ducked and the blade sailed over his head. He went for another push.
"Even if I take it easy, you must realize that you can't beat me in hand-to-hand," Crash said. "That's why I gave you so long to come up with a strategy."
He glanced at the clock. "In five minutes, I'm leaving. If you haven't succeeded by then, then you will have to try again tomorrow."

"Rufus," Anatoly greeted with a sigh. "Good to hear you're feeling better since the last mission. Blackout. Does it cause lack of energy following by fainting?"

Rufus nodded stiffly at the warm(ish) greeting.
"Blackout, Blackout, let me see...well, in some cases it has been recorded to do so, but for the most part it simply - well, blacks out your Mysticker. Why? Did you see Blackout?"

"Who uses it? Did either of them..." he proceeded to describe from his fuzzy memory the two men he hadn't recognized who had been in the room with him. "... Have it?

Rufus shook his head slowly. "Uhh, no, I don't think so. Maybe there was some other explanation.
"Well, did you enjoy your first Challenge Day? It's not even close to over yet." Rufus smiled nastily.

"Do you know who those two were? I want to know what Mystickers they had, someone ******** with me from outside," Anatoly inquired. It still hadn't really registered with him what he'd done.

Rufus raised an eyebrow. "Sounds to me like you described Wilde and Carlton. And can you blame the person? I mean, you were trying to kill an 11-year-old girl."
Rufus was purposely trying to make Anatoly feel bad. It was what he did.

"Not my fault she didn't surrender," Anatoly snapped back. His eyes were already getting a distant look, though. He was mentally reviewing what he'd done.

"But it is your fault that she got ******** up." Rufus gestured to Anatoly's left.
Three beds down, the small girl was lying in a bed just like Anatoly. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was steady. Beside her bed was Bitong, who looked over at Anatoly then quickly looked away.
"Nice going," Rufus murmured.

"Hey, Rufus," Anatoly groaned, sitting up. He stretched his fingers a little, pulled Skulltap from his pocket and stuck it to the back of his hand and traced his Ice 1 as well as his Skulltap "How about I get you a nice, cold <******** off?" Anatoly made a medium-thickness layer of ice over Rufus' mouth and froze Rufus' fingers together. "It'll be gone in around five minutes if you leave. Now go." He was beginning to breathe heavily.

Rufus shrugged and sat down in the chair beside Anatoly. He smiled with his eyes, casually looking at his watch.
Anatoly noticed that there was an abundance of plants in the infirmary.

Anatoly stared Rufus in the eyes. "Out, ********." He was ready to release Skulltap if Rufus met his eyes, but in the meantime, made ice knuckles.

Rufus closed his eyes and moved his head mockingly, as he stepped out of his seat and slightly away from Anatoly.
Was it his imagination, or had those plants been smaller? And a little further away?
