Kayla was trying to presuaded Nine when she saw Rene running into the newly created safeguard over and over again. Her eyes widen in shock and slight fear for her safety then some.
For the moment, Kayla returned her eyes back to Nine who was walking away. Panicking, she assumed that Nine was refusing to help. If she could convince Nine to help her than most likely she can't get her sunglasses back without Luna's help and as for as Kayla knows, Luna wasn't around to help.
Kayla was about to just give up and leave this journey when the swablu who took her sunglasses came back and perked on a tree branch right above her and held out the slightly abused sunglasses.
With tears in her eyes, Kayla's trembling hands took it back gently. "Thank you so much!" Even though it was dented, Kayla was sure that she could get it fixed and back in good condition at the next city.
As a show of thanks, Kayla went into her bag and digged out a marble the size of a golfball. "Here. You can have this. I collect them." Kayla looked around to try to catch a glimance for Nine. "Thanks, Nine! Thank you very much!"
With that, Kayla clutched her sunglasses as if she would never let it go and headed out of the portected inner forest like she promised. Adira sent a glare at the swablu for upsetting her trainer and Nine for attacking her teammate before picking up Grinch before following Kayla.

It wasn't until several minutes later that Ridley stumbled out of the forest, grass in his hair and quite sweaty. He hadn't managed to track down the Swablu, but he figured that Kayla and the others might have found it by now. The Rocket was tired, and privately wondering how long he'd be able to keep his cover. So far, only one Pokemon was suspicious of him... so that, at least, was good.
For now, he really wanted to settle down and get some sleep.

Cassadaine's curiosity had been peaked by the appearance of the black ninetails but for the moment she wasn't so sure she wanted to even try and befriend that one. If that was possible at all. Looking around the protected area, she tilted her head some watching the trainer run into the safeguard repeatedly while muttering all manner of nonsense. Her gaze drifted from Renekai to the safeguard before she rose motioning toward Astrel.
"Come on buddy, no use trying to get through that now." She said holding out a hand for the sentret to climb up on her shoulder. Casting one last look back at the gleaming barrier...and the somewhat insane person, Cassadaine shook her head and headed back toward the camp. Hopefully she'd be able to find it without getting lost.(( Ah darn it. xD; Astrel's still sore over that match too ya know! -sketchsketch- ))

As Grinch was carried back away from the mounds of possible treasure, he was pouting that he wasn't able to get anything but slammed into a tree.
As they walked away, Grinch climbed ontop of Adira's back (who rolled her eyes at being climbed on but ignored it) and laid down as if riding a ponyta for a human.
He plans to get some shinies of his own. He will just have to do it when Kayla is busy doing something else and not let her find out. It seems that Grinch didn't learn his lesson from earlier today with the credit card.

Era sighed with relief as the Ninetales passed over to her. She watched as she went over to the bush and retrieved... a pair of sunglasses?
Then she noticed the other Swablu in the bush, a shiny one with a weird hat. She cocked her head in curiousity, trying to see if he had anymore shiny things.
And really, what's with that hat?
Through the safeguard, she posed that question with some high-pitched chirps, hoping that he would hear her.

"Bluuuuuuuu?" Chirper said, looking at the golfball with excitement. He took it appreciatively, admiring the ROUNDNESS of it. And the smoothness. Needless to say, Chirper was very happy with his new toy.
Nine was watching Kayla from behind a bush. Silly trainer. But at least the drama around her area was over. Relaxing a little, Nine went off to water more plants. The safeguard was still up though (by Nine's request). Chirper didn't seem to mind holding the attack up. It was good training, as Luna would say.

Chirper looked to the direction of Era. Another swablu! The swablu fluttered to Era, leaving the golfball in the bush, so he could get a closer look at the other swablu. "Bluuu? Swa blu? "
Chirper tilted his head as he observed Era. She was just like him...except blue! When his head was upright again, Chirper's hat had tilted over his right eye, giving the pokemon a silly look.

Kayla was about to reach her camping site and was regaining control of her emotions. It would have been a mess if the Swablu didn't give it back. She was grateful that Nine listened to her plea and made Swablu give it back.
She didn't want to go back there and anger Nine even more and regret helping her but her curiousity wants to know why Nine is so protective of the inner forest.

Meeka walked back to the campsite, looking right to left to the berry forest. She than realized, it wouldn't be advantageous for her to light a fire within it. "Sorry buddy..." Meeka said as she turned to her just arriving Ebba. "I can't make any preservatives for you. I'm sorry." she said. Ebba nodded as he snugged against her face. "Why don't you get some sleep?" she asked, petting his nose. "You must be tired after the trip."

Era gave the golf ball a glance before the shiny Swablu flew over to her. She didn't skitter away in fear or anything. Like her fellow species, she has some kind of fondness for unusual objects, though she has learned not to steal anything.
"Swaaaaaaa..." She stared at his hat, especially the feather that was in it. Era would've liked to wander over and pluck it off, but the safeguard was till in the way.

Yawning and stretching, Jen rubbed her eyes clear of sleep boogers and looked around. Tents were pitched here and there, some sleeping in them while a majority were sleeping under the stars. A few of the Tauros were quietly chewing on the grass...
"Oy....wha time ish it...?" A quick glance at her watched warned the trainer of the time: about tenish...Huh...Guess her "nap" was more than just a nap. Stretching again, she stood and ambled over to one of the wagons while being careful not to accidently squish someone in the darkness. Reaching past someone snoring their head off in the wagon (How someone could sleep in here, jammed packed with trunks, trainer belonging, and food stuff was beyond her) and swiped an apple along with some poketreats before tip-toeing back to the tree.
Ace stirred and opened his wings, staring as his two-legger plopped back down with a small "umph" before letting go and fluttering down to perch on her shoulder. He gave a light chitter and nipped at the plastic container, wanting food now.
"Okay okay, give me a sec...impatient much?" A light bop on the back of the head was the answer given. "Fine fine, here ya go SIR!" The desired food object was held out to the Golbat, who took it and chewed happily.
WHile Ace nommed on his food, Jen leaned back against the tree and stared up at the stars again. Taking a small bite, she watched a few wild bird pokemon fly overhead and disappear into another part of the forest.

Renekai woke up, finding Bell snuggled up next to her, fast asleep. Renekai smiled, then carefully extracted herself without waking Bell. Renekai stood and stretched, rubbing her back. "Gosh... Feels like I was hit with an Iron Tail..." Renekai whispered. "Must've slept on my back all funny..." Renekai tiptoed through the sleeping pokemon and humans, reaching a wagon. She reached inside and took out a bottle of water. Renekai checked to make sure no one had drunk out of the bottle before taking a swig herself. "Ahh..." Renekai said happily. That really hit the spot.
Bell twitched in her sleep, missing the object that she had been using as a pillow. In her sleep, Bell grabbed her bag full of berries and pulled it towards her, hugging it like a child will hug a teddy bear. "Del..." Bell said softly, her breathing slow and even. As Renekai crept back, Bell snuggled up to her once more. Renekai smiled. It was times like these that she loved being Bell's trainer. Bell had chosen to sleep with Renekai rather than go in her pokeball, and that was a very kind act, from what Bell was usually like. Renekai ran one hand softly down Bell's head and back, then settled back in her sleeping bag. It would be a long day, and Renekai needed to get lots of sleep.
