Reinterating rules and warnings of the club:miss_fawcett IMPORTANT! READ ME!
As of right now a new rule involving answering questions is in effect. Starting now, you cannot answer a question if you have answered one of the previous three correctly. However, if 24 hours have passed since a question was put up and the correct answer has not been given, you may answer it. This is so everyone has a chance to jump in and answer questions.
I will not hesitate to dock points if you violate this!
(I realize I posted out of house color, but this was for dramatic effect, so everyone will notice it)
IceeWitch WAIT A MINUTE!
Dueling Club was created as a fun way to see how much you know and others know about the series. It's a cool way to add points and have some fun. I'm reminding everyone before they answer another question to read the first few posts in this thread again. Everyone can answer questions, and it's supposed to be for fun. Don't be too competitive. Try to make this a fun experience, as well as rewarding. If you're not going to answer the question, and you're not a mod doing something for moderation purposes, please do not Spam this thread.
Lately there has been suspicion amongst the mods and the referee of some unfair precedings. It's only a suspicion, and if it's unfounded, I apologize on behalf of all of us. But if it's true, it's a shame. Please do not ruin a good thing. This is a message to all, not one single person, because I'm talking about the thread in general. It's okay to not know things. It may seem that this is the only way to earn points, but it's not. We'll be announcing other ways to earn points and such in the future, just be patient. Now please join/run the Dueling Club the way it was meant to be played. I'd hate to have to close this club down for excessive abuse of this club.

Moving this out of Around Hogwarts since trivia is CLEARLY not role-play related in any way.

Okay, we're going to start this club up right. Remember to read the rules before playing the Dueling Club. Failure to follow the rules will result in deduction of points.
We're here to have fun and have a way to earn even more House Points for our Houses. Good luck to everyone!

According to Rowling's Extension book, Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them, in what year were Dragon Breeders outlawed (no longer allowed) to breed dragons?

*scratches head* Dragon breeding was outlawed in 1709, wasn't it? [[That was in the first book, but from the way you wrote the question that's not right...oh, well, I'll try.]]

That is correct (I made a boo boo, Kitty is right. It was the first book sweatdrop ) Gryffindor has been granted 2 points.
10.2 In Sorceror's Stone, how many points did Ravenclaw receive at the end of the book? (2 points)

Ooh, pick me! I do believe it's 426.
[[I got lucky here. I'm going to have to change a question though. I'm doing some trivia questions and a crossword for the HM based just on the first book, so I've been re-reading it slowly. And I just finished going through it looking for questions (which also means I pay more attention to details like that), and the house points are right in the last few pages. Ravenclaw got second originally though would have ended up in third because of the last-minute Gryffindor points.]]
