Queen Of Puppets `Dre Damien carried Angie out playfully on his way to the kitchen and set her down with the two slaves. The girl had become quite happy in her new home and was very well taken care of. She looked at the baby and smiled, then sat down and began to draw pictures in one of her notebooks. Her favorite things to draw included the baby, the garden outside, and fantasy animals that she saw on her favorite television show. The baby looked at Damien and smiled, reaching out a little hand and clenching his fists and un-clenching them with a giggle. Suddenly, without any prompting, he said his first word, sounding like: "som-bie!" The zombie laughed softly and got down to his level. "How smart you are," he said with a smile. "Such a big word for such a little child." Angie smiled and became excited instantly. "Wow! He is smart." She then began drawing a new picture, one of the baby saying the new word.

Louis walked into the room and heard the word, smiling instantly and rushing to his baby. "His first word! Good job!" He let his son grip his finger in excitement.

The robot shuffled downstairs and then saw the group of people and frowned to himself, almost wishing that they were in another part of the house. Louis looked up. "Hey September!" He merely said "hello," as he headed to the other side of the house, interrupted of course by Angie, who was eager to show off her pictures. "Look," she said. "He can say 'zombie' now! I drew him saying it," she continued, holding up all of the papers to him. This only made the mechanical boy more upset. "That's nice," he said, getting forced to sit with her.

The robot looked him over and then looked to his parents briefly, not quite sure what to do now. He didn't really know much about babies, after all.
