"Aww, come on Hitsu," Mitsu pouted as she swam up to shore. "Look its not to deep." Standing up the water reached to about her waist in the shallows so she could show Hitsu it wasn't all that bad.
After a lap around Riyo Tobi paddled his way back to shore and climbed out beside Hitsu promptly shaking all the access water from his fur. Though what good it did him because as soon as he was done shaking off he jumped right back in and swam toward Mitsu.
Stifling a laugh Mitsu covered her mouth, though a smile was still present as she stared at Hitsu on shore. As soon as Tobi was close Mitsu knelt down in the water and took hold of the dog swimming back out a ways. "Come on Hitsu!" She then turned her attention toward Poke as she resurfaced with a newly acquired catch. "Wow, that was fast!"
Unluckily for the girls they were not alone. Just a little ways down from their spot Marty had heard the laughter and shouting and decided to investigate. Standing on all fours from his resting position he kept to the brush and cover of the trees hoping to not draw too much attention to himself. As he got a little closer he noticed a large rock that contained a set of clothes. Hmm, that looked interesting. Though he was generally not a nosy person he poked around at the clothes looking at them curiously.

"A few days huh?" Neko said with a sigh. It wasn't like he wasn't expecting a long trip but having just been in a town and sleeping in a bed had been nice. Now it was back to trapezing through the forest and sleeping on the dirt ground. Lovely. "Yeah, this place is very quaint." Neko mused with sarcasm. The bodies, bones, and death really didn't bother him. The thought of what might have caused it did. He hadn't been here for the whole Riyo awakening thing, though he did notice she was talking a bit more fluently and not trying to kill everyone. "So what exactly happened last night?" Treading on dangerous ground? Maybe.

After watching the girls and Tobi run off to the nearest body of water, Blade turned towards Yuki as he mentioned the trek to the next town. It seemed that they weren't going to be traveling for a whole lot longer.
"Yeah, so hopefully more unexpected things won't be happening the rest of the way."
At Neko's question, the thief shifted slightly, not really sure if he should say what exactly happened. But he supposed the guy would find out sooner or later. Or at least learn of some of the events that went on the night before. Since it seemed that Neko was the only one aside from himself to see Riyo's other half before last night, he really wasn't sure how he would take it.
"Quite a bit.. Or at least it felt like a lot went on. But I'm not so sure if I should be the one telling you what went on exactly. You may want to ask Riyo, and see if she's willing to talk about it."

Hitsu shook her head quickly at Mitsu in protest, "I don't want to." What might have seemed immature really wasn't, but she didn't care either way. The water was deep and looked murky, she didn't know what was at the bottom, and she didn't want to have anything to do with it.
She actually looked a bit hopeful when Tobi had come out and approached her, until he shook off all over the place and halfway soaked her in the process. That just made her look even more pitiful, like the dog had succeeded to mock her. She wiped the water from her face, and watched Mitsu and the dog swimming off again wordlessly.

"Nothing worth explaining." Yuki lied, though when Blade spoke up that lie was quickly made painfully obvious. He groaned softly, and quickly tried to come up with a short excuse. "Riyo grew up. That's it in a nutshell. No further explanation needed, she won't need our help so much anymore."

"what would expect from someone like me?" poke boasted some more, swimming to the river bank with her prize in hand and with a quick smack against a well placed rock, she let it there so she could catch a few more. She still hadn't had any breakfast...or was it lunchtime now? it didn't matter; she wanted food and guessed the others might want some as well.
Before she could go again she witnessed hitsu getting drenched, and had to excert some self control so she wouldn't burst out laughing. "Are you sure you'll be okay there? The water is really nice..."

Riyo smiled and watched the dog do a lap around her, giving him a little scratch behind the ears as he left. This was nice. She felt like just... Floating on the water and falling asleep. Hopefully her troubles wouldn't find her out here.
She hummed a little as she closed her eyes and let her head sink down to the point where everything under her nose was submerged.
Quiet...
Everything was so quiet...
Then Riyo opened her eyes... Immediately realizing something was wrong. The water had turned red. The texture was completely different. It was... Blood. Dead bodies slowly floated past her, undisturbed by the whole scene.
Riyoooo....
Came a voice at a distance. She looked up with wide eyes in the direction of possibly the only other living thing amongst her.
When everything is quiet, that's when the nightmares sneak out. You are a demon, and as thus, destruction is in your nature. Instinct, dear girl. Just like a dog chasing a rabbit, it's justified.
Off in the distance, on the shore, he stood. Too far away to actually make out distinct features, but Riyo could see that grin. It was him. That man... From so long ago. Who'd been with her all along. His intentions had never been clear...
You don't have to be afraid. You won't be alone. I'll always be here.
Then her eyes snapped open. Everything was normal... It had.. It had just been a dream... A daydream, she supposed.
Maybe quiet wasn't the best thing.
"I.. Think I'm done in here." She mumbled and began swimming back to where they'd left their clothes... But as she got closer, she noticed something was very off. What was... What was that?
"... Neko? Yuki?" She called, expecting one of them to be whatever was sneaking around.. Though something told her she was dead wrong.

Marty had been too interested in checking out the pants to notice anyone swimming toward shore. They were an awfully strange article of clothing. Though they would be strange to him since he couldn't wear such a thing. Then a voice called out to him though the names that were spoken were not familiar. Quickly he dropped the clothes back where he found them and tried his best to hide, though a large centaur trying to hide behind a series of bushes really didn't equal out.
While Riyo swam back to shore, though Mitsu wasn't sure why, and Poke went about catching food, Mitsu continued to swim with Tobi. Floating on her back she pulled the dog up to her holding his front paws as she mimicked dancing in the water. At least she seemed to be enjoying herself, though her dancing looked like she was flailing around with the dog in tow. Thankfully Tobi didn't seem to mind as he kicked his back feet to keep up with her a happy yip escaping every once in a while.

"Riyo grew up? That's nothing worth explaining?" Neko cocked a brow as he looked at Yuki. His friend seemed like he wanted to either hide or forget the events of last night, much like he wanted to hide or forget the events at the mid-wife's house. Either way, Blade was probably right. It would be better to get the information from the source.
"Anyway," Neko continued dropping the subject for now. "What's on the agenda from here oh fearless leader." He looked at Yuki though his tone was a little mocking. Just a way to poke some harmless fun.

Riyo took small steps out of the water as no one answered her. Were they trying to hide? Maybe they were still trying to figure out how to get rid of the dog. Her eyes narrowed at that thought as she approached the rustling bushes. "Can't hide from me.." She mumbled, sneaking up so they wouldn't run before she got there.
"GOTCHA." She spoke before she saw just what was hiding behind the bushes. It took a few moments for her to process that, this was most definitely not Neko or Yuki. This was something different entirely. A feeling of 'wuh' swept over her, and was soon followed by panic. She didn't know what this creature was. "WHAT IN THE NAME OF..." She started shouting, unable to finish because speachlessness kicked in.

The entire time Riyo had approached Marty held his breath hoping she would loose interest and go away. That however, turned out not to be the case as she uncovered him in the bushes. As his eyes settled on the young feline panic started to over take him as well as he let out a startled yell taking a step back and nearly tripping over the roots of a nearby tree. Then his eyes trailed a little further south and he noticed this particular, and very obviously female, feline had no clothes.
Letting out yet another startled yell Marty tried to divert his eyes though the image was now burned into his vision. Not that it was a bad vision to have but it was wrong of him to look. Oh how wrong it was. As his panic continued he tried to back up further but noticed his head beginning to swim as the blood drained for his face. Before he knew it his vision went dark and a loud thud announced his harsh meeting with the ground.
"What's going on?" Mitsu called out, unsure if she wanted to swim back to shore or not. Tobi on the other hand had broken free of her hold and was already on his way back to investigate.

poke had been in the process of hunting for some more food, when her ears detected riyo saying something above water. Shooting up, she was just in time to witness riyo pouncing on something in the bushess. A pause, then...more shouting.
"Whats wrong?!" poke began swimming over to the scene, before hearing a unfamiliar voice scream out. She sped up, jumping onto the bank and was just able to see a...thing, pass out on the ground. Upon closer inspection she...couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"what....the hell is....that??"

Riyo watched as the strange creature eyed her and tried to get away. Was she... Was she that frightening? Did she have something on her from the lake? She took a moment to examine herself, but quickly looked back up at the thud. "Oh my..." She mumbled and ran over to the large, and now unconscious, creature.
As Poke approached, Riyo glanced up then back down. "I have no idea... How fascinating." She ended up adding to her sentence. Quietly, she leaned over it and started examining. How did this happen? It was... A human torso and a horse body shoved together. After she got over the shock, it was pretty damn cool. Obviously he hadn't meant them harm... He was about as frightened as she had been.
"Are you okay?" She asked and gave him a nudge. It never occurred to her that clothes might be a good idea before trying to wake the beast. Things like that... Were still a bit oblivious to her.

"I'm fine." Hitsu assured Poke when asked. Nice? The water looked dangerous as far as she was concerned. She watched Riyo move up toward shore, catching glimpse of something moving within the bushes. Initially, she passed it off as one of their friends coming to tell them to hurry it up or something.

"That's as much as you need to know." Yuki added, with a nod. What good would it do for him to know the extent of what happened last night? It was over, so they thought, so why continue to talk about it?
He rolled his eyes at Neko's obvious attempt to irk him, but offered an answer anyway. Or, started to. He gestured in the direction that Hanse had gone, "This way, and far away from-" He abruptly cut himself off, upon hearing Riyo's shouting. With this being an oh-so-lovely journey already, his mind instantly clicked on the worst possible scenario; The girls were in trouble. He spared only a brief, worried glance at Neko and Blade, before dashing off toward the sound, expecting them to follow.

Hitsu had jumped to her feet, startled, when Riyo had yelled. Though, when she looked at her, she hadn't run away from whatever it was that had caused the outburst. In fact, something else has sounded just as frightened, and she seemed to be investigating further. That should have meant it was nothing to worry about, right? Something had definitely hit the ground, and whatever it was it was large. Once Poke had rushed up to see, Hitsu carefully approached as well.
She quietly peeked around Riyo and Poke a moment, to get a look at this 'thing' that they were trying to identify. It was... A horse? No... A humanoid? Not entirely... He reminded her of the bull that they had encountered around a week prior as they had tried to escape their own village, maybe they held similarities? The bull hadn't seemed so bad, once he had calmed down at least.
"I've seen someone like him before... Sort of." She stated, speaking part of her thoughts aloud, as it were. "What happened? Is he okay?"

Upon hearing the shouting, Blade returned the glance to Yuki before nodding and running off after him. It sounded like something had caught the girls off guard, or at least just Riyo. And in any case it'd be a good idea to make sure it wasn't an attacker of some sort.
Seems like it's just one thing right after another this morning..
Shaking his head, he stared over towards the lake, now able to make out the figures of the girls as they crowded around something on the ground. The thief raised an eyebrow some. But at least it wasn't dangerous, or at least he thought so, with the way they were standing around the fallen one. Still, he didn't slow down just yet.
A little later, Blade could make out what it was exactly that was causing all the commotion. And for a moment, he had to double check to make sure his eyes weren't fooling him.
"Is... that a centaur...?" he mused while he approached, blinking at the thought. He had heard of them before, but never seen one. And for awhile, he didn't even believe they existed. But this was proof enough that they weren't just fairy tales.

Since everyone was crowding around whatever had made the commotion, Mitsu deemed that the situation wasn't dangerous. So in light of that she swam to shore behind Tobi and climbed out staring down at the large beast. For some reason, this creature looked familiar but she couldn't quite place him. Like she had met him before.
Tobi on the other hand was completely enthralled with this new being. He smelled rather interesting and while Riyo went about nudging him to wake him Tobi went about sticking his head in the bag at the centaur's side. Tail wagging happily Tobi emerged shortly with a smaller bag in tow that gave a bit of a jingle, no doubt from coins. With a muffled bark he ran back to Mitsu's side looking up at her proudly. Apparently he was trained for more than just simple commands.
"Tobi, that's not yours," Mitsu tried to sound harsh but failed as she knelt down and patted the dog on the head anyway.

At the sound of the shouting and seeing Yuki's worried expression Neko didn't say a word but only followed. It was a short trip to the lake thankfully but once they arrived the situation wasn't exactly what he had expected. Initially he thought along the same lines as Yuki that the girls were in trouble, but it looked as though the creature that had encountered them had been in much graver danger as it was the one laid out. "Yeah, that's definitely a centaur." Neko had only seen one once before when he was very young but it was a hard image to forget.

Through all the noise and being nudge Marty began to stir, his light gray eyes slowly opening to see a blue of people around him. As his vision cleared and he realised that he wasn't hallucinating he let out a startled yelp raising up on his elbows since jumping to his feet was rather hard. "W...who are all of...." His eyes then settled on Riyo's naked form again and he let out yet another startled gasp his face flushing beet red as he covered his eyes rolling up onto his knees to lay. "I'm so sorry Miss. Really I'm sorry. I shouldn't have looked it wasn't right of me to do so. I apologize it was rude of me to stare." His sentence was so rushed it was probably barely audible but he had said it with a nervous sincerity none the less.

"... Cen.. Taur?" Riyo repeated as the word was spoken over and over again. Since there was a name for this creature, there must have been much more than just one. But how did such a thing come to be? She stood up as all the males single-filed their way over.
She'd been so engulfed on staring at him that she jumped a little as he woke up in a startle. It took her a few minutes to process just exactly what he was saying. What? What was he apologizing for? "Staring?" She asked and looked down at herself once again. "What, do I have something on me? Is there some hideous scar I haven't been privledged to find yet? Does anyone else see anything?" She was getting frustrated. "Or am I just that frightening to look at?" She asked with a huff, arms folded in front of her. Didn't really help matters much.

centaur? centaur....poke had heard the name, but as for seeing one...nope. Never. As for if it was dangerous...well, she didn't think it was so bad, since it had already fainted at seeing riyo.
The being stired, and poke watched with fasination. He yelped, causing her to jump backwards in surpize and almost fall back into the water out of surprize. She walked back and heard him apoligise to riyo. This made her realise her own state, which wasn't much better then riyo herself; just the undergarments. And with the appearence of the others it didn't help much.
Being more self consious and in the know. Poke covered her chest up and blushed, wishing her clothes weren't on the other side of the lake. "riyo, thats not exactly what he means..." she said, hoping that the others would not realise this much.
