No I didn't, it would have been more trouble than it's worth and besides, they're all heavy weapons so there was really no reason to magnetize them for other options. I have enough regular marines to make Tactical Squads so there was no reason to be able to try to convert them to something different.
Fair enough, for some reason I thought the devastators came with the options for all the heavy weapons. whee
My Devastators only have certain weapons so I can't equip them differently, they're pretty old.
Ah, fair enough. Old metals?

Yeah their weapons and arms are all pewter, I'm actually pretty close to finishing them now last night I washed them with the black wash and the brown wash. Then my Dreadnaught started trying to fall apart so I took that opportunity to magnetize his multimelta arm, but I just glued his regular arm back on.
They looks so good right now even though I'm not finished, but I got incredibly sick for the last couple weeks so I haven't done anything to them since then, and of course I haven't even touched my Legion of the Damned yet. I do have them all primed and ready to go, they are pretty cool and I have the full ten man squad now which is kick a**. I also picked up a Chaplin in Terminator armor, not sure if I actually had mentioned that...

Prototype new Nid scheme, HF Kraken same as before, but with a less labor-intensive method. Left is the old, right is the new.
Nifty, though I'd maybe look into finding a different, more fitting colour for the tubing, the green doesn't wholly mesh with the rest of the paintjob in my opinion.

I see what you did there. pirate
So I'm thinking of swapping the green for a pale pink/purple like the tongue, saves two colors (to 11 total). Thoughts? Hopefully an example up later this week.

Those look awesome! Good use of washes on those Orks especially.
4v3nG3r is looking for a good Necron paint scheme in this thread, and the style of yours are pretty nifty. Maybe you could offer him some ideas or inspiration with some of your Necron themes?

Gants, round two of new iteration. A little lighter on the Seraphim Sephia, and used a Carroburg Crimson wash on the basecoat for the tubing bits.
Albert Cole, with hunting rifle and Natalia Dubrovhsky with AK-112 and 10mm pistol, Max Stone will be painted up later today.

I lied, Max will not be joining us today.. Instead, here is someone from Texas and someone from Mariposa.
NCR Ranger in advanced riot armour (Painted up in US 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment colours), one of the Vault Dwellers (Who will all most likely be renamed because they look nothing like those characters) and a WIP Brotherhood of Steel jerkoff with minigun.
I really wish the sculptor would add a bit more height and mass to the power armour mini, not to mention better attach the shoulder guards to the tabs, or at least in such a way that the shoulders don't break upon removal.
Also, the NCR Ranger has an atrociously bad head design, if I had the tools and skills I'd remove it and replace it with one from Victoria Lamb's range of alternate heads.
