Masterharper of Pern bb3000ae Masterharper of Pern bb3000ae Technically to become a water master you would need to be trained by rusbob, since as I remember he still the Main Water Sage No all I have to do is train in water jutsus and beat him. Even if you beat him it doesn't change he the Master Water Sage >> So I face him, water versus water... I kill him... he's still the Master Water Sage? NUR has some Stupid Rules. I hope that's not how it works >.>

Not a "I make up whatever I care for a be it guild." Ok... Explanation time: Tobirama(Second Hokage) is known for his Water Jutsus and is consider to be the greatest water Jutsus user to ever live. Was he taught by a Water Element Sage, or the master at that? No He was in a constant state of war, taught by probably many people and even his brother as a possibility. He even discovered a way to use the most complex water jutsus(Water Dragon Bullet) in one handseal, which is like 44 handseals in all. Also he wasn't just a water user, he was a great sensor and with space/time jutsus, also the Impure World resurrection is his and he is a powerful swordsman. He didn't have to go and be a Sage class, no everyone recognized him as the best. If I beat what's his face then I should be recognized, because I beat the best.

Sure if you beat him you'll be considered very good, but being a Master means something else and people are way to loose with the term Master.

My character's only a jounin. I think of him more as a water specialist than anything else.
@Pern: I think what bb's saying is that you don't become a master of something by killing a master.
Like if you're a genjutsu specialist, and call yourself a taijutsu master because you killed a taijutsu master.
