The lighting was drawn to his horseshoes.
We had to call a rending truck out to the place to pick him up.

It was partway up the hill when we found it. We didn't have any trees in the pasture, but we were right next to the town's water tower. Thats the part that confused me.
It could've struck the tower but it went for a horse with shoes on.
