Lil Nell Saxen I'll give this poker thing a go. Hello there everyone. Awesome! Lets finish this poker hand and then maybe do one more on the next page. Lily is still winning with her hand of 4 of a kind. *Brings out a round of drinks for everyone*

Canteen Poker
Here's how to play:
Roll five 10 sided dice (using the forum "post action function"). The highest hand wins. There are no face cards or colors (so no flushes).
hands are in this order (listed lowest to highest - again, whoever rolls the highest of these wins the round):
Highest total (if nobody even gets one pair)
One pair (two numbers are the same)
Two pair (two sets of matching numbers)
Three of a kind (three numbers are the same)
Straight (all numbers are sequential -they don't have to be posted in order)
Full house (three matching numbers plus two matching numbers)
Four of a kind (four numbers are the same)
Five of a kind (all five numbers rolled are the same)
*Each page is a new round
*players may roll only ONCE per round/per page(you can still post as much as you want)
*the pot starts at 5k!
*If the House wins the roll (I roll for the house), the pot is doubled for the next page/round. Otherwise whoever gets the highest hand wins whatever the pot is currently.
*free to play - anyone can jump in at any time!

gaia_nitemareleft A frantic clonking and cursing can be heard from the canteen. Under the door, a pale green vapor is slowly oozing out. The vapor is stirred as some one opens the door and a head pops out the kitchen. "Umm, just in case, if a random time vortex opens up into the kitchen in the near future, I would advise you to stay away from it. I'm sure it'll fade away eventually." With a nervous smile, Lily steps in back to the kitchen accompanied with a series of loud bangs and sizzling noises. For a short while a light flickers under the door and the stirred vapor is whirling around annoyed. Suddenly, there's an soft "plop" sound coming from the kitchen and everything goes silent.
The silence is broken as the door opens up slowly and Lily emerges from the kitchen, balancing an massive cake over an tray. "'ere you go. One especially delicious Tardis cake for you all. Note that even though this is not made of real Tardis, eating the cake might cause some random dislocations in time and or space continuum, but I'm sure there's nothing to worry about." With an hearty smile she puts the cake on the table. "Welcome to my birthday party! You may come as you are or you can dress up as your favorite Doctor Who character for example!
