I walked through the backdoor and into the kitchen, I heard gasps come from some of the servants, "I look that bad then?" I said rhetorically as I saw myself in the reflection coming from the steel refrigerator door. There was no scar but half of my face was covered with blood and so was my armor, I scoffed and grabbed a pitcher of blood and carried it out to the dining room with me. There I plopped down in my chair as my armor clanked, "I guess I was pretty useless today" I said to myself looking at the table.
I saw Tyrn and decided to answer his question, even though my head was killing me and I was not totally in the mood to bother with people, "I sneezed in the stables and spooked one of the horses, so I kind of missed everything" I said as a servant brought me a damp towel, my cigars, a lighter and a tall glass for the pitcher of blood. I poured some into it and chugged every bit in the glass, then turned to Tyrn "so what did I miss?"

"Not much just Shadow and I taking the army and obliterating the scout party Lilith sent out. We got Sakura back too which is really good. Oh and Nina's husband or whatever showed up." Tyrn said to her. He took a drink of his blood and looked back at Vicki.

I wiped the blood from my face then handed the towel back to the servant and nodded a 'thanks' to him. "Great, and I missed it all" I said sarcastically, "But I am rather happy that Sakura is home safely and we had a victory, hopefully I'll be around for the next battle." Then I thought about what he said while I unbuckled my armor and let it fall onto the floor in a pile leaving me in a pair of shorts and a tank top, "damn that stuff is heavy..." I paused trying to think of who Nina was, "umm, who's Nina?" I asked clueless as to who she was.

I scoffed at the mention of that girl, "I can already tell her and I won't see eye to eye, so I wouldn't care if her husband was dean or alive as well as her" I said sternly. "Sorry, I didn't mean to sound bitchy or whatnot she just got on my bad side" I said lighting one of my cigars, "damn I needed that"
((Sorry for being gone all day guys, not a very good Captain to miss a battle... but my team is in town so I had to go))

Yeah She ran off to 'Rescue Sakura' from Lilith today and got herself captured in the process. Shes not smart and is really pissing Shadow off. Kinda funny how we got Sakura out and Nina had to find her own way back. She teleported right into the dining room here and scared the s**t out of me and Shadow, well mostly me but still." Tyrn said and took another drink from his glass. "Sakura is upstairs resting in my room. I put her straight to sleep mixed with her recent magic discontrol. She made an earthquake today with her powers. I dont know how though, she wont tell me." He said to her. he was thinking about what happened earlier again. God thats an addicting thought. He smiled as he thought that.

I blew some of the smoke into the air around me, "Hmm well I guess everything went well with me knocked out" I said laughing a little as I looked at the glass that was a little too far away from me. I brought it over to me with my mind, but that just increased my headache. "Ugh" I said as I grabbed my head, "damn that's annoying." A servant ran over to me and handed me two aspirins, "thanks" I said downing them. I looked back to Tyrn, "so this thing with Sakura and you is really serious, I'm happy for you two... just watch out for Shadow" I said with a smile, he probably already knew to stay off Shadow's bad side.

"Oh I will from now on. When Sakura got taken, Shadow let me have all the guilt in the world. I'm still dealing with it but I promised Sakura that I would get over it. Things between Shadow and I are back to good now and I'm looking forward the main fight." Tyrn said with a smile. He was looking forward to it. Get to let demons take more vampires and kill more skeletons. Maybe I can take a wight. Tyrn thought.

I finished off my glass of blood and refilled it with the pitcher that was in front of me. I smiled knowing that Shadow probably went insane, "don't worry about Shadow, he will get over it" I said trying to re-assure Tyrn. "And I know he liked you before this whole incident" I smiled and thought about missing the battle, I sighed "I hate missing important things"
