(well you said the only one that can free the souls is the one that comands the gem so if Zalego is still alive they can't save him)
"Oh and why's that" Kysha asked as the gods started draining Zalego of his powers.

Kysha smiled "Yea and I'll be laughing when that 'corpse' gets up and kicks your a** for laughing at her" she said "I'd be surprised if anyone could recognize you after she's done."
The gods finished draining Zalego of all his powers, even his born powers making him human.
"Say goodnight" Kysha said as she summoned a sword and cut off Zalego's head.

The fire inside the Soul Gem died as ownership switched to Kysha.

Kysha released Superio's soul and all the others that were in there and then smashed the gem.

Superio laid dimly on the ground in his ball of light form. He was too weak from being nearly destroyed to keep up his human image.
Red floated up from the ground and looked around. "Finally!" he said.

The gods, been having done there job, vanished back into heaven.
