"True, but then again I've never been one for weighted clothing," Night grinned, "And it's not like I need fireproof clothing. Though, I have been spending a good bit of my time lately sitting under waterfalls. Thinking maybe it'll help build up a resistance to water damage."

Ms Edyn "True, but then again I've never been one for weighted clothing," Night grinned, "And it's not like I need fireproof clothing. Though, I have been spending a good bit of my time lately sitting under waterfalls. Thinking maybe it'll help build up a resistance to water damage." "Well, if its anything like my fire resist, not necessarily." I said. "The good news is that someone can hose you down all you want and you'll hardly notice it. The bad news is that it could very well hamper your abilities, if not do damage in the process. For instance, sure, give me the hottest inferno you can muster and I'll still run through it like if I was some sort of juggernaut, bad news is...I'm still pretty freakin' susceptible to burns of various degrees. Let's just say Doc reminds me of it every time I come in with burns galore." I said.

Night shrugged, "Eh, it was an idea. Figured it couldn't hurt too much. I'll have to put it to the test at some point to see how effective it is."

Darts, having wandered off from the conversation earlier is exploring HQ, marveling at how little of it he had seen outside of the main room and the training room. One of his hands clutch a small cup of hot coffee, and he sips from it at regular intervals to keep himself calm. He knows calmness befits a gambler, but he was a little sick of having to stay so calm. He needed to control it.

Sub called out as he entered the room, spotting the ghost freak named Darts. "Been looking for you." He said as he came up to the man and put an arm around his shoulders. "You're a gambling man, right? What do you say to a friendly little wager? Win, and I'll call off that debt you owe me, you'll be a free man once again." He said with a devilish grin.

Darts says sardonically in response, glancing skeptically at Sub as he does so, finishing the last of his coffee and allowing a moment of silence. "What's the game?"

Darts says sardonically in response, glancing skeptically at Sub as he does so, finishing the last of his coffee and allowing a moment of silence. "What's the game?" "It's simple, here, look at this." He finished his sentence by handing Darts a dirty, and rather beat up looking, P*DA, the screen had many cracks and scratches in it, but it worked, miraculously. "That device belonged to the guy that mugged my cousin, Toren, and stole his Snag Machine. As you know, I can't let a Snag Machine rest into the hands of a potential enemy. As such, I intend to steal it back. I was able to very briefly pick up the Snag Machine's signal earlier, and it was somewhere in Pyrite Town, I doubt it's moved far since then, I just don't know where in Pyrite Town. I thought the great Darts could plunge the debts of Pyrite Town and find that Snag Machine...then again, you are a mutated freak now, you might not be up to the challenge anymore." He said with an exaggerated sigh.

"But I'd like to see what kind of threat we're facing that's out stealing these Snag Machines. Call it.... professional interest. How did they find out about it and how did they manage to take it? I'll do it."

Regardless of their intentions, we need to get it back." Sub said as the building's resident Claydol appeared. "Whenever you're ready, let's head out."

"Let's go then."

"Ahhh, Orre is such a great region," Chaos said with a smile as he entered Snagem Headquarters. "So much free ~/~."
"You've been busy," Keiko, who had been in the main lobby by herself, said to Chaos as he left the entrance.
"Gotta keep yourself busy in this place," Chaos responded. "Otherwise the boredom is like to drive you insane."
"I don't know about that," Keiko mused aloud. There's always so much going on around here, so many people doing so many things at once. It's hard to get any peace here."
That comment made Chaos smirk. "Heh. You just gotta know where to look." With that, Chaos plopped on a couch facing Keiko. "So where's yer old man run off to?" Chaos asked partly out of curiosity.
"Actually, I haven't seen Al in a while," Keiko said, starting to feel a bit sad. "I suppose he's been busy as a member of the team. I'm glad he's opened up some, but I miss him."
"Who the ~/~ is Al?" Chaos asked, looking suprised. I thought you were down with Fairy Boy.
"Who?" Keiko asked, equally surprised and confused about the nickname.
"You know... tall, glasses, wears his hair all over the ~/~ place-" Chaos started to explain.
"...Terashi is my brother, Chaos," Keiko interrupted abruptly. "And he's away. He's taking the Pokemon League challenge in Unova."
"Ah." Chaos nodded. "Good thing he waited until he was old enough to handle it, then."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Keiko asked, looking confused. "The legal starting age for any League circuit is ten."
Chaos laughed at this, then rose to his feet. "Look, I ain't one to tell others how to do their ~/~, and I sure as ~/~ ain't fit to raise no child, but anybody that lets their ten-year-old child out into the wild on their own - and no, pokemon do not count - is ~/~ing bat~/~ insane."
"I know it can be hard out there," Keiko protested, "Especially with some of the horrible people we have to protect people from. But that's why pokemon are so amazing. Because with them, you can do anything. Even a ten year old can thrive in the world thanks to Pokemon."
"In other words, 'It's magic, I ain't gotta explain ~/~,'" Chaos retorted. "I may not be fit to raise no kid, but even I know that that ain't no way to go about it."
Keiko pouted as Chaos left the room. Despite how she was raised, going out into the world even without Pokemon, or anything but Luck to protect her, she felt conflicted by what Chaos had said.

Darts sweeps back into HQ. He glances around, his red eyes roving the place as he heads at first towards the kitchen, but then he shakes his head as he's holding the back of coffee grounds. "Look at me." He says sadly, casting a baleful look at his precious coffee. "I'm like a damn junkie."

It was as he sipped from the dregs of his tea that Ship spotted a hybrid before which he hadn't seen in the kitchen. It held a container of grounds...there were only so many Snagems that actually brewed the coffee. "You are like coffee like I am with tea, hm?" he said from the doorway. The Zorua boy was wide-eyed. No matter who you were, anyone that looked like a Giratina was worthy of no small amount of curiosity.

No matter who you were, anyone that looked like a Giratina was worthy of no small amount of curiosity. Darts glances up from the bag of coffee grounds to see a young Zorua hybrid staring at him. He shivers a little unconsciously, a ripple running down to the tips of his coat as it reacts too in response to the Dark type. Or was it the tea? He wasn't sure, either way, it was unconscious. "In a manner of speaking." Darts replies, switching to the careful way of speaking he usually reserved for marks and strangers. "But first who are you?"
