"She is a child. We sheltered her from the world that hated her so passionately in her youth, not knowing that she was truly an infant in those times. From this, she has had far too many expectations inflicted upon her in her life. Though she said that she wished to have us near, we too wanted to be near to her. There was also the need to be together so we could share her history with her, that which none of us knew until recently as well as to take the steps to repair the relationship between she and the elves." she said in a calm tone, looking to him with curiosity, wondering how he would take this.

"Hm, well, not a complex answer there. Generally, one's past means much....generally. Hm...so she's done things in the past but she no longer knows what those things were. Ah, what a grand scheme!"

"No one knew her history until recently. With the exception is with our Mother. Why she kept this secret for so long .. we will never know. She is not keen at all about talking of her, she hardly even acknowledges she exists, let alone is her daughter." she said softly, tilting her head, looking to him with curiosity. It seemed that, despite having an idea of what was going on, that he had jumped to a conclusion that was not entirely true.

"Ah, but can you not see it? Look, on the scale of the universe, was their situation just grand? Rife with past tension and conflict which has blossomed to the point of not even acknowledging the existence of another, let alone own blood! Can you not see the lines and threads of fate at work?"
As he spoke he seemed to be following invisable lines in the air with his fingers. Shortly after he stopped speaking his hand slowly lowered.
"No. Of course not..."

The man only smiled, leaving her question unanswered. With a small nod to them both, he faded away, seemingly from this plane of existence to possibly another.

Arching a brow, Brom rose and stood next to Feldspar, finding it interesting and lovely to have heard their conversation together. With the man having left now, they again picked up with their silent conversation, moving around Feldspar, he grabbed her with care, spinning around, just to see her smile brightly. After that, they wandered out of the bar just as peacefully as they had entered.

The man returned and crashed out on the couch, letting the pleasent warmth of the first fire of the season wash over him.

Alanna was sitting in the bar, with her legs crossed atop the bar counter. She had her hands placed in her lap holding a bottle of whiskey. She held it up and watched the liquid inside swish around as it moved. A smile spread across her lips. Such simple things interested her. Like the sound of the whiskey moving around the half empty bottle. A simple swish-glunk sound. "I wonder what everyone is up too today?"

The stranger dropped down behind Alanna in near silence. He raised an eyebrow as he looked her over.

In her own world she did not realize the mans presence. Her mind was wandering in and out. Her eyes concentrated on the baige liquid swirl around. Getting bored quickly, she placed the bottle down and went to swing her legs over the bar to the back counter, when she saw the man behind her. Almost swinging her legs into him. Frightened she gasped, and fell backwards off the counter to the ground with a thud. "Ugh.. I'm sorry I almost kicked you!", she apologized rolling onto her stomach and sitting up.

Mai sat on the couch infront of the fireplace a blanket wraped around her and a cup of hot tea in her hand as she watched the flames lick at one another. She had finished her chores today so she decided to get out of the house for a bit. Hearing the comotion before she glanced around and smiled at the two in gretting not wanting to bother them as she turned back around continuing to watch the falmes and sip her tea.
