Ember frowned "It's harder because she is awake. She has a chance at life and even if you dont think it,you want to be with her." Ember sighed looking away "You do realise If you do go....She's going to die....She barly alive as it is...These machines have been keeping her alive but it cant last forever..."
Rei gently grasped bakuras hand "I hope so as well"

Ryou looked away as well, closing his eyes. "It doesn't matter what I do, though. Marik already said... I can't fight back with Marik. " Indeed, it didn't take long to get to the mansion. Bakura was glad for this, because he was starting to get cold. He knocked on the door, hoping it wouldn't be the pharaoh who answered.

Rei who was getting cold as well just opened the door "HEY PEOPLE!" she yelled.
Ember sighed "Yes you can. Just tell him you dont want him to kill you....thats is if you dont want him to. I cant make you change your mind I just want you know know the outcome."

"You aren't allowed to just walk into peoples' houses like that!" Atem, who had just gotten back, was sitting on the couch and shivering, still trying to recover from the coldness outside. The hospital was farther away from Bakura's house to walk. He paused when he saw who it was. "What are all of you doing here?" "Needed to ask someone something, I don't remember where he is." Bakura said calmly, not looking at Atem at all. "Do you, or anyone in here, know where that man-- Khalid, was his name?-- is?" Ryou nervously played with his hair. Though it wasn't very noticeable, over the years, Ryou's hair had grown. Before, when he was still a teenager, his hair was a little past shoulder length. Now his hair was reaching the small of his back. He had gotten into the habit of keeping it out of his face in a loose ponytail, when he was with Marik. "I... I don't know what I'm supposed to do." He muttered, sinking into a chair and wrapping his arms around himself. "I need to talk to Bakura. He knows more than I do."

"Good for them..." Ryou said, nodding his head. "Yeah, I'd probably want to go there. Where is it?" Yugi had heard Rei shout, and happily bounded off to see his guests. "Oh, hello!" He said cheerfully, and Atem turned to repeat Bakura's request to the boy, in English. Yugi frowned slightly. "Khalid? I haven't seen him in... for a while. What do you need him for?"

Ember took a pen from behind her ear, grabed a napkin from her pocket and scribbled out a adress "here"she said handing it to him.
Rei looked to yugi "Would you know where we could find him?"

"Well, uh... I really don't know where he stays. He just sort've shows up and stuff." Yugi laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry I can't be of much more help, but Khalid is very... odd." "That's not nice to say." Khalid, in his odd way, was in the room as though he had just appeared. He looked rather exhausted, and his violet eyes flickered over to the couple. "Anyway, what do you people want? I haven't got much time." "Thank you." Ryou said, bowing slightly. "Will you--do you think I should-- Maybe I should wait around here and see if Kira wakes up again."

Khalid let out a short bark of laughter, before clapping his hands over his mouth. "Oh, excuse me... Where are my manners? But I'm afraid I can't be of much help to you. Kira's got her own plane, you could see if she'd let you fly over there. Egypt is still here, you know." Khalid knew what they really wanted, though, and his brief moment of humor quickly faded. He got his emotionless look on his face again. "But why would you want to go back there? Don't you know the dangers?" Atem's eyes had widened slightly as he looked to Khalid. "Wait, you mean you can take us back? I want to go too!" He sounded like an impatient kid. "Hey, hey, hey, back off." Khalid glared at the pharaoh. "Look, just because it can be done doesn't mean I want to. You probably don't want to either, you two." He glanced at Bakura and Rei. "Or, at least, you won't when you realize how dangerous it would be to get back." "Okay, well... 'bye." Ryou knew he'd have to leave quickly before he could change his mind.

Khalid sighed, running a hand through his violet hair. "Well... first off, we can't do it now. It'll have to wait for spring. When the thunderstorms come." Khalid switched to Japanese, which was a language Bakura and Atem had yet to learn. Both looked furious when he spoke solely to Rei. "There will be other complications, though. For starters, you can't exactly choose where you'll end up. Remember when you all returned to the modern world? You were all in the same city, but separated. Do you really want to risk having those infants separated from you in Ancient Egypt? Who knows what'd happen to them?"

"It isn't a science, sweets." Khalid said, frowning. "I was glad I had managed to get us all in the same town on the return trip. I had been worried all of you would've been scattered throughout the entire United States." he considered, trying to think. "There could be a way, I guess, if I sent less of you at a time. But it would still be really difficult. Plus, there would be other concerns. Would you be willing to go back, with your entire family together, but to find out that Bakura's memory had reset? As far as I've gathered, that's what's happened when you go back, isn't it?" Khalid shook his head. "There's no safe way to go there and expect to live like before. Would you rather stay here and be miserable, or go there and have your children possibly die, or have your husband not remember you again?"
