So I'm re-reading Mists of Avalon, having gathered a copy from a friend (mine went missing, like so many of my lent out books), and I'm remembering one thing:

I love it for the same reasons I find it laughable.

My partner and I routinely make fun of a scene from the miniseries based off of the book. xp

I am not ashamed to say that I recorded that off of TNT when it aired.

So what is this book about again. It sounds familiar, but I know I haven't read it.

That whole series kind of makes me roll my eyes. And I typically love retellings of Arthurian legend. sweatdrop

Feminist and rather generic-neopagan retelling of the Arthurian legends. I like reading it and then my copy of le morte de arthur.

And now I might follow that up by watching the BBC's Merlin.

Hah! That was one of my closest friend's favorite book(s?) for the longest time. Might still be.

Haven't seen Merlin yet, heard it's good though. Anyone got any other recommendations?

They have Thetans?

Has anyone else ever wanted to punch Guinevere in the face?
