Jen tried to calm down, feeling her face redening more. "Je-- I just get nervous in large groups of unfamiliar people... you know that." Jen looked to the side to avoid eye contact with anyone.
Lacey looked down at Jen, "Then perhaps asking you to meet us in a large crowded coffee shop wasn't the best idea... Why don't you two head home, we can meet up again in a smaller group some other time..." she suggested, starting to feel bad.

Travis just nodded, "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea."

Jen got up from her chair, "That might be best..." she turned to look at the others, "It was very nice to meet all of you... but it seems to be in my best interest to remove myself from this situation for now. Hope to see you all again soon." Jen simply waved and went to walk away feeling mentally drained.

"It was nice to meet you all." Travis said as he stood and started to walk in the direction he thought Jen went.

Jen sighed, and looked behind her to make sure Travis was close behind. "Travis?" she called out, not seeing him.

Jen reached over and grabbed his arm. "Like going out with a ******** child I swear." she said under her breath as she dragged him through the room full of people and outside.

Jen said nothing as she walked back to the Monster. She opened the door and got in. She tunred on the car, feeling her nervousness being replaced with annoyed, though she was still very embarrassed. Jen stared out the windshield, trying to figure out what exactly had come over her in there.

Unble to think of a reason for the way she had acted, Jen just decided to let it go for now and just drove. "At least it'll help me clear my head." she said to herself.

Travis started rubbing at his eyes, hoping it would help them clear, but as usual, it didn't.

Jen turned into the parking lot of the apartment complex and just picked a random place to park. It wasn't really a parking place, but she knew no one would care. Jen walked up to the building and went inside, not bothering to wait this time.

Jen walked down the hallway lost in thought, "Perhaps I'm just bored? I bore with things fairly easily... so it would make sense. The idea of a new guy, whoever he might be is just new and exciting! Yeah that's gotta be it! I'm sure I'll find the next guy I see just as attractive!" Jen put her hands on her hips and looked around for a guy, the only one she found was old and grody, "That's not fair! He doesn't count!" Jen yelled as she continued down the hall.
