My point being that I can't help but disagree with people when they say you shouldn't talk about something because it's not supposed to be funny.

just kidding.
I just don't think suicide is a very hilarious thing to be laughed at. Kids and adults see it as a means to an end or the only way out of a situation; that in the end, leaves a family/friends with broken hearts and shattered lives. It's just not something that can be made fun of. What if Anna committed suicide -or vice versa-, would you still laugh about it?
I feel the same about religion.
I don't mean to get all serious. . . =_= I just don't see this as laughing matter. It is a very serious thing that is haunting the lives of many people in many nations.

Taking my statement out of context, sir. Hmm, how to put this... I just disagree with that out look. Some people think nut shots are no laughing matter, namely the people getting hit. I, however, find it ******** hilarious. No, I am not saying nut shots and suicide are on the same end of the disaster spectrum, I'm merely pointing out the different levels of perspective that humans are capable of. It's why I'm glad I'm not one of those people that takes everything so seriously, because I can laugh at a lot of s**t and not be stuck up and all blargh.
I'd be devastated if Anna did such a thing, but if I saw Kenny do it crazily on South Park, I'm going to laugh. It's a strange little double standard type deal, but such is humor. ... Gear Second!

Anyway, I have my own issues with the matter of suicide. That's why I agreed with Ichi and try to remind others that it is not funny, generally speaking. I was biased and that would fall in with Tiger's touch on the matter of bias in these types of debates/constructive discussions. I think I used to laugh when friends made suicide jokes but I don't anymore because it just isn't funny to me. Plus, I appreciate that Tiger pointed out the double standard of it all because as much as one might not want it there, it is there and not everyone would have enough of a stake in the situation to think that jokes should not be made about it.
Yeah. That's about it.
Summary: I agree with Ichi because I have my personal bias on the matter but I understand Tiger's stance on it as well. ...for not even I own it.

I wasn't trying to use Anna as leverage... I was stating a simply possibility. =_= anyone can be faced with the possible depression and then suicide mind set. It's not a hard emotional state to fall into.
I don't see how it can be turned back around on me. stare It's about suicide...

Ichimura Kenshin I don't see how it can be turned back around on me. stare It's about suicide... I was referring to you using me as an example. Given the chance, she will, without a shadow of a doubt, use that statement back on you some time in the future.
It's her cute little way of teaching people not to say certain things. It's scary efficient, I might add. ^^
