Gil nodded "That's ok, you just remember that when you have to tell the investigators" he sighed glancing at Cid on his shoulder "Hey little guy, what is it that you want?" he asked patting Cid as he settled down "Still your right let's go, don't wanna spend all day here" he said helping Satoshi up.
Oassu nodded "Ok as far as I've seen Judges aren't dispatched for petty crimes like theft" he told Felina "Most places have city guards or police for that, I'd think Judges would be reserved for more...dangerous duties" he pondered "What sort of duties do Judges have outside competition rulings like this?" he asked Yusti leaving the changing room.
Zadina nodded "15 minutes until full visibility....sorry if you thought we'd have longer but it fades out a little towards the end as you seen still it's a shame we never uncovered any information about Satoshi" he sighed sadly
Itaka chuckled "Ok so singing's not your strong point it's not something that's important to you" he said patting Sophia in congratulations for her song "Still I'm sure Mari can just try and grind that nocturnal instinct out of her again....which makes me wonder what sort of natural instincts do you as a demon have?" he asked

Seph gave Sophia a small round of applause once she had finished her song then picked her up so she could kiss Itaka's neck "Heh you should have worked out what instincts there are by now. For one example, I don't end up growling simply because I think it sounds cool" she smirked wrapping her tail around the tonberry then waving her about gently through the air creating the illusion she was flying.
Hebal smiled almost pouncing on Zadina when she pulled him into a hug "Aww don't be sad Zadina weena! It was a long shot we would find her here anyway since she was in the other arena fighting. Maybe the others had better luck finding her, besides it's the thought that counts and if you try hard thats all that matters" she answered trying to cheer him up.

Satoshi nodded holding onto one of Gil's arms while she tried to get her balence back "Hey there Cid. Nice to see you there" she greeted the rabbit patting his tail "The question is, where do we go from here? Back to the stall, or would you rather have a rest between matches?" she asked secretly dreading the future interrogation she would receive later about events.
Felina blushed a little shifting towards the exit upon seeing another competitor enter the room then head straight back out again upon noticing them "I bet they would get involved if it were a really big theft like a bank heist or one where lots of money was involved or people got taken hostage... not that I think you would do the latter" she quickly added.
Yusti's smile widened with pride while she prepared to give Oassu her answer "Apart from competitons like this on a general term, the role of the judges is basically to handle all the jobs that the usual law enforcements cant handle. We also have to do all the political stuff such as war crimes because of our neutral stance on politics"
Elithana broke off a piece of her hotdog and handed it to Zadina "Here have something to eat and keep the energy up. Hebal is right about it though so don't go beating yourself up about it ok" she sighed looking at her hands to check she was fully visible "We at least managed to get a good look around the arena despite not having an al access pass. I bet Satoshi would be impressed by your stealth when you tell her"

Gil shook his head "Forget the stall, I'm thinking we should just get you back to the cabin until you're feeling 100% again" he said picking Satoshi up and carrying her on his back "Let you rest and recover, you can't have been especially comfortable in that locker" he said as they left.
Oassu smiled at Felina happy Cid was giving them some time to themselves "You're right but see Judges like that do big things nothing like petty crime" he said satisfied with Yusti's explanations "So Judgemaster's are pretty much just your bosses?" he asked Yusti.
Zadina nodded eating the small bit of hotdog gratefully "You're right she probably would, still would've been good to at least find information about the kidnappers still how should we go find the others?" he asked when Hebal hugged him by surprised "Huh?! I-It's alright Miss Hebal I'm ok but my name is Zadina LOWeena" he gasped returning Hebal's hug.
Itaka smiled watching as Sophia stared blankly at the clapping unsure of what it was before happily flying through the air with Seph's help "Well sure I'd figured that one out" he said cuddling Seph "And you like to purr also which sounds nice but I was just wondering if there was anything less obvious that's a demonic instinct for you" he said watching as Sophia made little happy noises in the air.

Seph nodded briefly turning Sophia upside down while she untwisted her tail "Oh yeah there are all kinds of instincts... like you have increased levels of agression which why you could easily pummel someone without the slightest bit of guilt. Some people end up being nocternal and some end up being stuck in a heat. It really varies from person to person but it's easy to spot things if you know what too look for" she chuckled deciding not to give too much away.
Hebal laughed releasing Zadina from her hug "I know thats your name silly but Zadina weena sounds cuter... you can be Zadina weena Loweena if you prefer" she teased skipping around the two of them while she finished her food off "They did mention I am sure of it they were gonna check out the arena she was actually fighting in. If they didn't, well it would be the most logical place to look" she shrugged.

Felina swiftly moved towards Gil and Satoshi only just managing to catch Cid who had been knocked off Gil's shoulder when he picked Satoshi up "Phew that was a close one there. You must get pretty bored most of the time if thats all you judges do. There can't be that many cases that you need to deal with" she commented wondering how the time filled.
Yusti petted Cid glad to see he was ok "Sure it can get boring job wise but most judges are more than happy to have long periods of time off or simply end up getting more flexible second jobs. But yeah the judgemasters are our bosses and top of the top of the law ladder. It's one of the most well payed jobs you can get"
Satoshi gasped from suddenly being lifted up and wrapped her legs around his waist "It's not like I really felt it being unconscious and all but I do feel a bit stiff. Still it's nothing that will take a while to recover from so don't let me stop you going out and having fun" she answered patting his leg.
Elithana snickered having to try her hardest not to laugh at Zadina's new nickname "Zadina-weena I suppose sounds cut but it's not really all that good for a boys name" she told Hebal glad to be out in the sunshine at last "No harm trying the second arena and if we don't find them we will be meeting back here soon enough anyway"

Gil frowned "Sorry Felina, forgot the little guy was on me" he apologised glad to see Cid was ok before turning his attention to Satoshi "It wouldn't be so fun without you" he chuckled "I just want you to get 100% since you've had quite an ordeal today, Felina says it was just a simple sleep spell but all the same they were pretty rough with you" he said sighing "Besides maybe you can help me catch the crook if you can remember anything" he said.
Oassu smiled patting Cid "Mari won her match by the way" he informed the others before turning to Yusti "I didn't think Judging came first before your secondary job? Wouldn't that mean they'd position you near a place where your talents are needed?" he asked.
Zadina frowned "It is so a boy's name!" he protested to Elithana "But I'm ok with whatever you feel best calling me" he sighed figuring he wouldn't stop Hebal mis-pronouncing his name "Still we should go find the others, umm do you remember what times the other matches are on Miss Hebal?" he asked.
Itaka grinned broadly imagining Seph permanently in heat before dismissing the thought "I take it you don't really have much of any of that?" he said watching Sophia fly "Your doing good with the kid..." he noted

Seph raised her eyebrow at Itaka but didn't say anything for a second while she concentrated on tossing Sophia into the air then catching her again to continue with her flight "You really think so? I never really thought of myself as somebody who is good with kids... I tend to scare them a lot" she chuckled pleased to have received the compliment "I don't know what it is but people just love going whoosh through the air. Heh and I do occasionally get some not so great instincts temporarily depending on the time of year"
Hebal nodded pulling out from her pocket a programme she had taken from the cafeteria along with the hotdogs "I kinda forgot myself but then I found this so it's alright and I know now. Which time are you interested in or just everyones "What time do you have to go away again Elithana, it's not soon is it" she asked giving her a hug in case she felt left out when she hugged Zadina.

Yusti shrugged ushering the group out of the changing rooms "You get put where your put. If your needed halfway across the world you go. Thats why all second jobs need to be flexible and why some don't even bother with them at all. We get payed enough afterall" she added spinning around the door.
Felina let out a sigh of relief pushing Cid up and onto the top of her head "Oh don't worry about it Gil, I know you wouldn't have meant for it to happen and he's not hurt so we can all just forget about the whole issue" she smiled at him taking Yusti's hint to leave the changing rooms "Did Mari win by much then? No judge decision or anything?"
Satoshi laughed reaching down to lift Terrato off her leg and place him around her neck "Is that you beginning a career in crime fighting as well as sword collecting now? I've pretty much told you brielfy everything I remember but apart from feeling light headed I'm perfectly fine, no sickness or anuthing like that" she reassured him.
Elithana shook her head in disagreement with Zadina "No no you have me all wrong. Zadina is a fine name to have but the cutesy weena bit added on to me sounds a bit too girly, no offence Hebal. I'll have to be gone about 1.40 to get back to the parliament at 2 and then I shall be out no later than 5"

Oassu frowned "Seems like an awfully large responsibility and a very inconvenient system, could be done with so much more organisation allowing you to use Judging as a secondary job, must be a real pain especially in high-crime areas" he thought "And Mari's rendered her opponent unconscious but it was a hard fight for her." he said
Gil chuckled "Sure if you like I'm no big fan of villainy especially when someone attacks those close to me" he said "I'll probably try and track down the perpetrator myself because I have no intention of letting them go unscathed if possible" he said.
Zadina nodded watching Hebal hug Elithana "That's ok Elithana, I'm sure there's some matches you can attend but what time is it you have to leave today?" he asked her.
Itaka's eyes widened slightly surprised "Sure you're good with kids, Sophia isn't scared of you for sure but she's a tonberry, they ain't scared of much" he chuckled "Still I've known you for over a year now and I've never seen you being overly instinctual....what sorta things bothered you?" he asked stroking her hair.

Seph smirked waving Sophia around in front of Itaka's face "Thats because there are ways of surpressing things like that so theres no need for you to see anything. That said some like navigating in the dark are useful. But I'm not going to tell you anymore about them, I think it will be much more fun getting you to try and work them out for yourself" she winked at him encouraging Sophia to wave at people.
Hebal let go of Elithana and opened up her programmee "Let me see here... if it's Gil's fights your interested in they are at 3.45 and if he wins that his next one will be at 6.20 which is pleanty time for Elithana to join us for the last one" she cheered folding the programme up into a paper hat then placed it on her head "You better stay for dinner like you said earlier!"

Satoshi sighed wishing that she could remember more about the event "Yeah I guess thats a natural thing to want to do but... I really don't think the information I can provide will be anything of use. If you want my adivse the best thing you should do is simply win the tournament since chances are the person who did it is a competitor" she concluded ducking under the low ceiling.
Felina nodded in agreement waiting for Oassu and Yusti to catch up "Is there any point having a second job in a high crime and high gang area? Wouldn't the judges in those parts be constantly pulled away to sort all kinds of issues out" she asked also thinking about whether or not Mari was ok.
Yusti paused stopping to mention the changing rooms were now open again "I dunno how busy they get since I was never stationed there, instead I got sleepy villages and miles of countryside. The only bother you ever get there is chocobo rustling occasionally. High crime areas may be ok but I wouldn't be surprised of the gang ones were forever on their feet"
Elithana took a deep breath happy to have hear breath back "Don't worry I will stick around and eat with you. Just so long as you keep that hat programme of yours since I would like to see at least one of your friends in the arena later on. My airship back home is at 8pm. I'll be back in Yithra by about 2ish in the morning"

Gil raised an eyebrow glancing up at Satoshi "How do you figure that? And I'm sure an investigation by the authorities will turn up some more stuff after all it's a major security fault on their behalf." he said thinking "Besides Yusti said all competitors needed to be clocked in and out earlier....we just need to see who was clocked in at the same time as you" he said.
Oassu nodded "Seems like they'd be well busy all the time" he said "And chocobo rustling seems pretty minor, isn't there local law enforcement to deal with that kinda thing in your area?" he asked.
Zadina cringed "Geez Elithana that's like really early, you'll probably be asleep when you get there" he said sadly "Still we could watch Gil's last match and then all go for some nice food!" he said planning it out
Itaka blinked surprised as Sophia jabbed his nose with her bottle uttering a small "doink" noise. "Well...erm....hey Sophia nice to see you too" he said uncertain what to make of the behaviour "Still fine then but if you suppress them so well how am I supposed to know them?" he asked.

Seph frowned moving Sophia away from Itaka unable to interperate her behavious accurately enough "It's a good thing Mari hasn't considered giving her a weapon just yet. But even if you do take measures it is impible to 100% get rid of any habbits, instincts, behaviours etc. You've just got to watch out for all the little clues"
Hebal yawned simply from thinking about being up that late "That will take forever and ever! You better go to sleep on the journey but... I thought the forest you lived in was dangerous at night" she quietly added before pushing the thoughts out of her head to consider Zadina's plan "The food should be awesome in some nice fancy place rather than a fast food place although... we'll need to ask everyone about their preferences. In case any have allergies or really hate certain types of food"

Satoshi cleared her throat and tightened her grip around Gil "Well I don't know but... the person who did it must have had a reason ans something to gain from it. Plus it would be far easier for a competitor to get around the arena then it would be a normal civilian when you consider no security guards were affected in anyway" she explained snuggling into his back.
Felina gasped shaking her head at Oassu "No no no no Chocobo rustling is really really bad and the people who do it move around so much it's hard to catch them. I wish someone could have done a better job at getting my pet chocobo back that got stolen then I was a teen" she answered blushing slightly at the outburst.
Yusti raised her eyebrow at Felina but said nothing "Yeah chocobo rustling can be a big thing like you said, it's actually surprisingly well organised. That said theres lots of money in selling off other peoples' prized gold and black and blue chocobos etc. Local law enforcements in the heart of the countryside can be pointless. For one everyone is armed and two, the majority of them are farmers"
Elithana nodded giving them both a pat on the shoulder "I'll get a few hours sleep on the airship so I will be fine. And yes the forest is a dangerous place but at the end of the day I have some of the best fighters Yithra has to offer escourting me plus we all won't get lost" she reassured Hebal and scratched her chin "Hmm... foodwise I am ok with most things with the exception of spicy foods."
