Though now that he was standing still Arthur could catch some of the words that were being tossed back and forth between Malik and the others who were around him, and he could pick out Piper's and Sevilin's voice a bit; he couldn't hear them too much since he could hear the throbbing of blood going by his ears. Though his mind had went across about Piper for a moment, he hasn't seen her since that fight he had with Malik and maybe he did lose his temper when he was in front of her, maybe he should go talk to her after all she's the only surface elf he could talk to.
With a light sigh he placed his katana back in it's scabbard, it seemed that Sevilin had come by to take him away from his training with Malik; which he thought for a moment was a good thing but then again going off to train with another drow could be bad but the question is who is going to be harder on him when training? Malik or Sevilin? Well that Arthur had to find out himself. Slowly he turned his attention to the drow and nodded lightly. "Alright then Sevilin I'll be there soon, where are we going to have the lesson? In the library or the dining hall?" He asked as he watched the drow, hell Arthur and Sevilin didn't talk about where they were going to have their lesson so there's no problem in asking, besides he remembered seeing him and Zahara having their lesson in the dining hall once.

"Not a bad idea. and I bet I coudl get one of those, too. Though at present I was thinking he'll get to play with something special. I have to test that one little joint project of ours sometime."
Though he was more than content to let Piper snuggle into him, and get herself all comfortable, resting his arms aroudn her waist for a moment, patting her belly lightly and nuzzling her neck.
"Well now that our show is over, I think you and I need to make a doctor appointment."

"Wel hopefully this 'joint effort' will pay off." Though his ears twicthed at Arthur's voice and he looked back to him. "Not soon. Now. And in the dinning room...lucky you will have a study partner today." Nope wasn't trying to be mean, this was merely how they taught. When he was teacher, they were on his time and not on thier own. Though he did look back to Malik with a smirk. "Do try to not kill him...he's indebted to be and I'd like to take advantage of that one day."
Of course a smirk at that before turning his eyes back to Arthur. "Arthur, come now or I will drag you by your ankles just as I have Zahara before you."
A little giggle given from her, tilting her head to give him room to nuzzle at her as he may please. She did so enjoy it when he was all affectionate and what not. Though her hands did come to rest on top of his. He was all excited and hopeful but only on the inside, how cute. He always did show restraint about that when there were others around. "Oh fine you win...Sevilin, when she gets a break can we steal Zahara from you for a bit?" Of course her attention turned back to Malik. "You going to carry me or make me walk?" Just because she was in a playful mood as well.
A raised eyebrow at that. By Gods, she was actually asking him something? Must be a side affect of all that potion she'd been downing lately. "Fine by me..."

Arthur rolled his eyes lightly, fine if Sevilin wanted to have a stinky, tired, dirty elf to train then fine he will have one, but the one thing he did suspect was Sevilin adittdue towards him but could he complain? Of course not Sevilin said that he had to train the way the drow wanted him too and he could not say anything about it so he had no choice but to follow along. "Alright then Sevilin." he called out and quickly made his way to the arena door.
Once he made his way out the door he sighed deeply and leaned against a wall, god was he tired from all that fighting but now he had to go train with Sevilin, Arthur could bet by the time Sevilin was done with him he wont be able to even move or do anything important. "What have I gotten myself into?" he whispered and sighed as he made his way to the dining hall. By the time he got there all he wanted to do was sit down and relax, but he couldn't do that in front of Sevilin or that guy would punish him for it. So quietly he made his way inside and noticed that Zahara was already there sitting in a chair, with a small nod Arthur made his way over and sat a chair down form her. "Hey Zahara..." he said with a light smile.

"Well I guess in your potential condition carrying you woudl be the better method, now wouldn't it?"
A slight grin at her, squeezing her hands lightly.
"Now this isn't some, lets see how he reacts practical joke you and Zahara have planned, is it?"

"Spoiling, how I have learned to enjoy it." Though she gave a giggle, nuzzling under his chin lightly as he went about making conspiracy theories. "You honestly think I would make a joke about this subject? I don't even like to talk about it, much less make it into a game of sheer amusement. You have to give me more credit than that." Another giggle. "If we wanted to do something together I'm sure we'd throw plates at the wall or something. Or hang around with the horses."
A little nod to Malik and Piper, watching Arthur leave before following after him back to his little classroom of sorts that was the dinning room. Of course by now Zahara had her breakfast and a plate was waiting for Sevilin where he usually sat as well, and he took his seat efore taking to his food. "You need something to eat before you start too, Arthur."

Arthur waited quietly for Sevilin to enter and when the drow did all the surface elf did was wait for the man to sit down before he turned his attention towards him. "Oh alright, excuse me then." he said lightly and got up and went to the kitchen to fix his own breakfast. After about fifteen minutes Arthur came out with a plate with a lot of food stacked onto it, when he set it down Arthur just looked at it for a moment before he began eating, and of course he didn't eat like a slob who hasn't ate any food in days he took his time eating to enjoy the food and be polite in front of Sevilin and Zahara. When he was done with the food on his plate Arthur lightly pushed the plate away to the side and looked over at Sevilin. "So what am I going to be training in today?" he asked with a puzzled look.

At this point Zahara could care less about what she looked like. She wanted meat and she wanted lots of it and it had to be varied with cooking. Her steak had to be almost rare done but her pork chops needed to be slightly pink inside and a few other things had to be almost charred. She couldn't explain her vociferous appetite, merely the fact that she wanted meat. Right now she was tearing pieces of ribs off the bone. Nodding to Arthur and Sevilin she continued to eat. She kept tearing at meat mostly ignoring the others.

He gave Zahara a passing glance at her aquired taste of meat but let his look rest on Arthur. "First a few things to know...my lesson start at the same time every day when my pupils are in prime condition, that woul be you. Be up at dark and early underdark dawn and down here or I will be fetching you from bed by your ankles." Zahara of course loopholed that rule right now and her lesson times were scattered.
"But also in my ways of teaching, you will start from the bottom and work your way up. Today you will do nothing of the magical sort, you will merely sit up on the table top here," Patting the table surface, "and you will meditate for however long I think you need. You are going to be focusing on the feel of the magic naturally in your veins."

Arthur nodded lightly to Sevilin's words, so he had to be up early so he could train with the drow or he would get a personal wake up call from the man himself huh? Well that he had to live with and he wouldn't mind really as long as he didn't get yanked out of reverie by Sevilin, that would be unpleasant.
Again he nodded lightly as Sevilin explained to him what he had to do today, it may sound simple but Arthur had a feeling that it would be difficult for him to complete. "Okay then understood Sevilin." Since the drow was his teacher he had to respect Sevilin from this point forward since he will be learning a lot from the man. The one thing he hated about training with Sevilin and Malik is that they didn't have a set time limit, they would keep him as long as they wanted until they get what they wanted from him, but again he had no say in the matter. Slowly he stood up as he pushed the plate farther away and without a word sat on the edge and slid inwards so he could get into a mediated position. "I'll start right now then." Was all he said before he closed his eyes and started to concentrate on trying to feel the magic that flowed through his veins.

Zahara listened to Sevilin laying out the rules and resisted the urge to chuckle. She had a feeling Arthur was going to get the wake up call a lot more often than she had. After a good week she'd learned and even in Andal her body had stayed conditioned to waking up dark and early...though it was actually dawn on the surface. She finished up her meal and stood up, heading into the kitchen with her plate and making a quick stop to wash her hands hten returned to the table and opened the book. It was on the tip of her tongue to ask if she was going to get to practice her runes but that might upset Sevilin even more. Watching Arthur for a moment, she reached over and corrected his stance a bit, lifting his chin and leaning over the table to brace her hand on his lower back forcing it to move erectly and straightening his posture. He'd never get any meditation slouched over like that. Then right back to her seat, bracing her elbow on the table and chin in her hand as she idly flipped pages with one hand.

Now it was Sevilin's turn to resist the urge to chuckle as Zahara more or less became a teacher herself and corrected Arthur's posture. The action merely got an approving nod, seeing as she apparently had listened to him about something or other. Did a teacher good to see his student actually learning. But to them he said nothing more merely sat in his seat and took to finishing his breakfast.

Alright there Arthur went, trying to feel the magic that flowed through his veins and throughout his entire body, but wait Zahara had to come along and help correct his posture since to her it wasn't the way it was suppose to be. He could feel her fingers lightly lift his chin up and then push in his back so it be more straight. Thanks Zahara... he thought and sighed mentally before he went back to concentrating. Okay now he had to feel the magic flowing through his veins right? So he had to focus on trying to find it and if he noticed any then he try and focus on that area. So with a huff of air escaping from his nose Arthur went about trying to feel the magic that was in him. Remeber Arthur feel the magic...feel it...feel it...feel... and off he went to sleep, though his body was able to keep his posture and not fall over for some reason. This went on for a bit until his head started to tilt a little bit until his head totally slumped down and his chin touched his chest.

Knowing that Arthur was meditating should mean that constant energy shifts were being felt around the room. After all, what was mediation but a connecting to the magic already present and gathering it into one concise bundle. So even she knew what was happening before it had actually taken place. She merely shook her head and kept reading before pulling out her runing stuff and scribing a quick circle on her spot of the table. Of course Arthur was right in front of her so she couldn't see Sevilin which probably helped quite a bit with concentration. But there were some interesting tricks in that book to try and she wanted to do so. Besides, Sevilin wasn't truly teaching her right now, she was doing book work. She hardened the circle and hten set about copying the rune from the book onto the table, concentrating her own energy to help it activate.
