Which character Maddy?
Its kind of rare to see people with the actual build, but some of those people are really good at making costumes. In the contests where I go you can't buy your outfits online to enter the competitions they have to be mostly handmade.

Cosplay is fun xD I've realy only done a real cosplay twice before...any other time I just wear my kimono. ^^" Since my cosplay choices are limited though, there isn't much else I can do.

Yeah. Custom outfits are always more accurate if they're made by a pro. Like I said, I might pay a fashion design student to make my costumes.
I think some people make outfits for their friends if they don't have the right build.
My build's bad for all cosplays... not skinny enough for most characters, not big enough for the huge ones.

We had a friend dress as orochimaru and he was attack by jeriya who actually knew all of the hand signs, scared our amateur naruto fan friend.

Hehe... Dei's easy. So are all the Akatsuki, actually... except for maybe Saso-kun.

We had some pretty wicked characters at ours last year. Has anyone else seen a "NANI" ninja?
Oscar would be interesting... but I odn't think I could pull it off.

There was one at our convention.
It's "Ninjas Against Naruto Insanity." He was dressed like a classic ninja and had a naruto plushie on a noose. It was funny.
