Jaden's eyes wandered over to the side for a moment. If it truly came down to that then he would have a discussion with his brother, who was the only one he ever knew to truely harness demonic power for their own gain, it was not without great damage.
"So I should kill you now then." Jaden muttered, his red eyes boring into Ceon. "Before you can destroy the pack and disgrace our species any further. I didn't want this job you know, but I would sooner die than leave it indebted to a bunch of demons and in command of a coward who can't claim the position under his own power."
Reaching out Jaden laid both of his clawed hands on Ceon. A strange dim green light emerged from his palms as a set of beautiful ivy shaped runes ran between his fingers.
It was the only thing remotely related to a healing technique that Jaden knew. It was actually something to calm nerves but to also speed up a bodies natural defenses, in case of immortals the internal healing process was increased, Ceon would be himself again very soon.
"You poor creature... You've become something to pity."

"This species has been disgraced since you chose to hide our species instead of letting us attack the humans when we were discovered. And I don't believe you got this position by yourself: you and that 'thing' you call your lycan form. That's closer to a demon than anything..." Ceon looked up as Jaden held out his glowing palm at him, and Ceon smiled a toothy grin. "Funny, I was about to say the same thing," as he spoke, his hand whipped out from out of the couch, wielding an automatic pistol. He began unloading the clip at Jaden, firing bullet after bullet of silver nitrate at Jaden.

    || I'm not oblivious ... ninja ||

Sibyl didn't bother to knock on the door that wasn't there when she followed Jaden's scent to Ceon's apartment and she immediately made her way into the apartment. It was clear the door had been broken off of it's hinges, further evidence that Jaden was more than likely already here aside from the fact his scent was stronger now. She heard Ceon saying that their species had been disgraced by choosing to lay low as opposed to conduct an all out war on the city of New York. As she made her way through the home she responded to Ceon with her own opinion on the matter, "It would be incredibly foolhardy to wage a virtual war on the humans of this city when most of them have done nothing wrong. To kill others mindlessly, that is when you lose yourself, Ceon."

She was just in time to make her way around the corner when Ceon began firing off a clip of bullets at Jaden and her sensitive ears caused her to grit her teeth at the sound but she did not hesitate to grab Ceon's firing arm and tackled him into the side of the couch before he could unload the entire clip on Jaden, forcing his firing arm to aim away from Jaden. This had gone far enough and she wouldn't have Ceon destroying the pack with his distorted morales that were counter productive. The female wolf was growling though she was in human form as she struggled with Ceon and growled at him, "Enough, Ceon."

Sibyls appearance was a surprise. Jaden hadn't wanted anyone here in the event that he had to kill Ceon but that seemed to be out of his hands right now.
As for the shots firing he was actually glad Sibyl was there. His fingers were numb so that his grip wasn't up to grabbing the gun. It was better that Sibyl grab the gun as the bullets sprayed the room. Dodging had been very simple, grabbing a gun from under a couch cushion was a broad movement that was easy to predict. Even so three of the bullets did skim him, liquid silver making two stains on his side and one more on his shoulder.
"Damn you!" he snarled, straining to keep the silver from his bloodstream. He would have to wrap this up fairly quickly before his body would go into hibernation. "Ceon that does it!"
Jaden slammed his left hand against Ceons leg. The majority of the scars on his left arm glowed red and crawled down his arm onto Ceons body. The slashes and small symbols crawled up and through the other males body, shifting over and under his skin. They were like living things with no substance like a pocket of air.
"Move again and I will maim you." Jaden muttered angrily, trying to keep focus. At this point if Jaden lost conciousness then Ceon would die regardless. He didn't like doing this, it wasn't great for him either, but sometimes it was necessary. "Then I will kill you... Then if your pack still exists I will go and kill them."

Ceon glared Sybil in the eyes, "I'm not truly surprised that Jaden's b***h would have to come to his rescue. He seems to bring you everywhere he goes.." As Jaden slammed his hand on his leg, Ceon froze up, wondering what the hell Jaden was doing. This was just more proof to him that Jaden was more demon than lycan.

(("demon than lycan" you mean. Also be nice to Sibyl, she just tails around Jaden half the time... like a puppy... but far more attractive))

(My bad. And Ceon is in no mood to be nice to Sybil.)

    || And slightly less naive than a puppy. XD ||

Sibyl rose to her feet upon Ceon's statement, biting back a combination akin to a roar and an extremely ferocious snarl that would instinctively be followed up by ripping out his throat and puncturing his stomach without so much as a second though. However, she instead relinquished her grip on his arm and violently tore the gun from his hand and mercilessly stomped down on his hand, seeking the satisfaction of his hand collapsing beneath her foot. Her eyes were amber now and she was growling through her gritted teeth, restraining herself from shattering more than just his hand. It was difficult to tell whether Sibyl was angry or whether she was simply doing something she perhaps regretted not doing long ago.

"Some leaders would not be as tolerant of your existence as Jaden has been, in fact, I'm beginning to wonder if he's been too gracious to you. My father would have killed you long ago were you in his pack for being so weak as to consort with demons." She was practically spitting in his face and she was trembling with anger, excitement and disbelief at Ceon's cowardice and betrayal. "I may not be able to speak for the rest of the pack but I'm not inclined to follow someone who consorts with demons. Verbally degrading those that have established their place above you by such means also does not win you any brownie points, either, friend." The word friend was literally spat for it no longer possessed any meaning to Ceon.

"The last thing we need in a time such as this is a division within the pack and we don't have time to babysit you and keep you safe from demons or your own selfishness. I once called you friend but you've spat that back in my face a number of times now and have forsaken such a bond. I will not be the one regretting such incompetent decisions. You may believe your intentions are what is best for the pack but they are anything but, they are counter-productive and you would be its downfall."

Several bones in Ceon's hand crunched under Sybil's foot, and Ceon grimaced in pain, but his bones soon began siding together, and he laid there giving Sybil an icy stare. He said nothing to her, knowing she would only try to turn his words against him.

"Let's," she practically demanded with anger and determination, "have you prove your worth here right now. See if you can clear your path to the Alpha. Follow your instinct to protect and defend yourself. We'll see just how much becoming Alpha means to you right now. Prove it to me, show me that this means something to you and it is not just folly. Stand for your belief and if I'm opposing it then eliminate me." She was growling as she spoke, trembling in anticipation of facing Ceon off and determining their places in the pack. Jaden hardly existed anymore, he was all but purged from her mind as her instincts began to sharpen and focus on Ceon's response. It had to be redetermined whether he was above her or not and that would bring about order. There was too much chaos.

She was baring her teeth though she had yet to attack him and she stood back, allowing him space to get up but ultimately blocking his path to Jaden. It was clear that Sibyl intended to be an obstacle in Ceon's path and that if he was able to face her and clear her from his path then he was perhaps worthy. However, Sibyl wanted him to prove it and to prove it would be to first make it through her. This was how conflicts were settled in her pack and she was wanting him to fight to show her how much this meant to him, how hard he would fight for it, whether he'd kill her or horribly wound her to reach his objective.

Jaden reached up and placed a hand on Sibyls shoulder. "You might want to drag him to his feet so this goes faster." he muttered, his voice already beginning to show signs of fatigue as the poisonous substance circulated furthur through his veins. "If I pass out it won't matter. The runes will instinctively return to my body but the fastest way to do that is by what they're designed to, blast through the host with explosive force. So just fight before he ends up as chunks of flesh and organs."
His red eyes cast down at Ceon. He really was a tragic figure and Jaden had no idea why he had allowed him to live. Sibyl was right, instinctivly he should have killed Ceon to prevent this sort of thing from happening the moment he took over the pack... before then even, but he hadn't. Maybe he had thought that the other wolf would change or find some real happiness as opposed to endangering those that would call him family. Maybe Jaden was just being nice for once. It was hard to say.

Ceon stood up, equaling almost a whole foot taller than Sybil. "The last time we fought was years ago...you have no idea how much stronger I've gotten." Ceon threw off his shirt as his muscles began getting bigger and grey fur covered his body.

Sibyl stood in Ceon's way, her amber eyes dangerously sparkling with their determination to bring sense to her former friend in her last attempt to bring him to his senses. If she failed then she would likely perish at Ceon's jaws but to die helping one that clearly needed it was not the worst way to die in Sibyl's views. She took her wolven form once Ceon threw off his shirt and his lycan form began setting in. Of course she was no lycan so her wolven form was that of a true wolf but she was not at any disadvantage because of this. In this form she was much more agile, much stronger, her senses were with her.

Jaden's hand to her shoulder did not really phase her but it partly brought her back to her partial humanity. She nodded to him gently and urged him to seat himself and rest, that she'd be fine. The last thing she wanted was Jaden's runes blowing Ceon up but this was her chance to knock some sense into him. She was absolutely determined to help him and if force was the only way he would listen then she would definitely resort to it. ~Rest, Jaden, I will try to keep this short but you may have to intervene if we need to get your wounds treated.~

~You're right, that was years ago and I'm certain we've both grown and developed much since then though perhaps not the most progressively or most positively.~

The multi-coloured wolf stood before her friend defiantly, her amber eyes glinting with the determination to show her friend that he was being foolish and that his thoughts and plans were only going to lead him to more hurt. She intended to help him and Ceon, the hothead that he was seemed incapable of listening to reasoning so she would have to show him by force. It was truly in the best intentions but she doubted that Ceon would see it that way and if he hated her afterwards then so be it.

Rest... how foolish a notion that was. If he rested then Ceon would die. And even then if he removed the runes so that Ceon wouldn't die and Sibyl lost Jaden was fairly sure that Ceon would not pass up the oppertunity to attack someone that was mostly defenseless.
All Jaden could do now was stand back, with the thought that unless a miricle happened Ceon would not make it out of this.
