I've not seen Cloverfield but I do think it looks cleverly filmed..however, I'm not sure I could sit through the whole film watching the amateur video effect..I'd get disorientated before long sweatdrop Or do they actually have ordinary filming too?

It's all "amateur video" effect. It goes well with the story though.

Sliph Hancock was good. Not really what I was expecting though. I'm still debating on seeing that one because the newspaper said it would bomb due storyline etc..

I agree with Sliph, I enjoyed Hancock but it wasn't what I was expecting either. It was a funny movie, but it had a lot more serious points to it than I thought it was going to have.

Exactly.
Be Kind Rewind looked like it could be really funny, but I didn't think it was out yet...
Also, WallE was rather enjoyable if you don't mind little dialog.

There was an advert on the TV for Be Kind Rewind last week and I thought it looked amusing but I've not had the chance to see it yet.

Wanted was also pretty good, but you kinda have to look past the whole "Loom of Fate" thing. But ignoring that kink in the movie, I thought it was pretty entertaining.
And to Magus, I recommend seeing both Get Smart and Hancock. They are both really good movies if your in the mood for comedy. Get Smart is more slap-stick humor, and Hancock is more sarcastic humor with drama that is mixed in, more so than Get Smart.

The little girl says - I agree with Mister Chaos. If you look past the "loom" thing, Wanted was a kick a** movie. ^_________________^
It was after I saw Wanted that I almost got arrested the second time.
