Huh...wha...WHAT?!?! The ape is going to be leaving?!?! ((does not know how to feel)) I must say I didn't really see this coming. Blew me out of the water for a second.
Also, I guess it is time to tell you dudes to get out of my kitchen. I thought you would start leaving on your own, but I guess I was wrong.

It is a surprise, you will have to wait until she is introduced. Hint: she is a semi replacement for Kelly (all will be explained soon... soon if things start picking up again...)

Glad you were a little shocked, I was kind of going for that. Haven't been hinting on it as heavily as I should have, but then again I just recently decided to go threw with it.

I know that Kelly is going to be replaced with your female merc character, but I just question if she ever had some past relation with captain...

You don't think Pavan is distant? *Looks over at Van's character* Maybe not to Parker, but... Maybe you weren't here when she was talking about how antisocial Pavan is/was. Don't get me wrong, I like Pavan, she's great, but I am finding (am still working on the profile... I've been working on and off again on it for a couple of weeks [if Kelly is going to stay away for more than a couple of RP weeks then I have to make sure she is just right]) a good distinction between her and my character. Don't fret (not really sure who that is directed to, so take it as you must).

I can answer questions regarding the source material and then of course or own material as well (seeing as it is a blend of not only Firefly but some other influences as well, but 99.9% Firefly).

Her name is River, she is a reader (psychic), and a total bad a**. The alliance played with her brain and made her that way for their own sick games. And if you want to know more about her the movie is fine way to go if you want the "made for people who have probably not seen the show" version. I personally like the story (or what we could get of the story) from the show. The one where Simon didn't force his way in there, and actually had very little to do with getting his sister out besides funding it.
Of course I just liked Firefly much more than I liked the movie (not that I didn't like it, I do, I love it, but the show is much better).

well shows always have the advantage of more character development and plot twists than the movie..so it makes sense that you would say that 3nodding

I have already spoken my peace on more than one occasion about my thoughts on having a reading in the rp, and the answer has never been a pretty one to they who wish such a role. We make a point to try and stay as independent of the source material as we can. Yes, ever once and a while we will make an reference to Firefly, but more often than not we are making our own course.
