La mort stood in the middle of the street, cars veered once more, trying not to hit him as he stood there. His face was hidden with a mask, his hair concealed with a long black wig. His eyes showed through the mask as an unnatural red color. He wanted to bring some card captors about, to test them...so he did the only thing he could do. He activated something much like a clow card...but it wasn't quite. The aura was almost exact though, any card captor with good senses would be able to sense it from miles away.
The 'card' caused all the people to get very violent...(when truly it was a hypnotic device...)

Remmy looked up suddenly. "Franki, I have to go. I'll be back soon." she said, running out of the room and up the stairs. She put on her 'battle outfit' and grabbed her sword, the Gift of Flight, and then ran out of the house. She knew Franki would have heard the difference in her voice but she couldn't endanger the other untrained captors. "I call on the power of fire!" she yelled, holding the card out in front of her as she ran. Firey came out of the card and followed her as she ran. She skidded to a halt and barely ducked in time to avoid being hit with a flying body. She was looking around, wondering what card this could be. There wasn't a choas card or that would have been her first thought. She searched for the center of the aura, picking out a man with long black hair. "La Mort." she muttered, unsheathing her sword. "La Mort! What have you done?!" she yelled, making her way through the mass of chaos.

A sickening echo of laughter echoed from his throat, an inhuman voice then protruded from his mask "You stupid girl...i now know one of you...reveal your friends... so that I may kill you while you sleep..."

"Never! You will never get us, even if you knew what we looked like!" she yelled, confident that it was true. The firey floated behind her, looking rather angry. The card knew that this device was not one of Clow Reed or Sakura's creation. Remmy seemed to know it too. "Firey, destroy that card!" she yelled, running at La Mort, her sword held ready to strike.

: razz yralis wakes immedately from his sleep and is beside Remmy in a heartbeat, silent and just waiting for her orders::
::Kisha's eyes widen:: a card! ::she gasps::
::Franki's head snapped up when she felt the strange sensation, though she didn't know to connect it to Sakura cards. when Remmy said she had to go, she also noted the diffrence in her voice:: wait, no! ::she tried to protest, but it was too late. swearing in every possible way she knows, she braces herself on the bed and lifts. the pins and needles shoot up her legs again, but it's considerably less this time, fading rapidly. she ignored it. she could walk a bit, maybe not quickly, and she difinately couldn't see to know where she was going, but she wasn't stupid. she knew that strange feeling had to be the reason for Remmy's hasty disappearance, and so she was headed directly for it. with her senses heightened due to her opening herself to trying to find the fake card, she didn't run into quite as many things as she could have as she left the room. in the hallway, she kept one hand on the wall and the other in front of her. surprisingly, the more she walked the more circulation she got and so the quicker the fire went away. by the time she reached the stairs, she could walk normally and painlessly... of course she nearly fell DOWN the stiars, only quickly catching the banister, mostly by accident, did she manage to keep from falling more than a few steps. muttering:: i hate stairs : surprised ver and over, she carefully works her way down and out of the house::

Kishi felt the power of the card and quickly went to Franki grumbling at her "You should have waited for me... and you'll need a battle outfit if your gonna fight.. LaMort CAN'T know who you are! *pause* Have you even figured out HOW your going to fight?"

*As Remmy charged, she would feel dark chains binding around her ankles, sending her falling to the ground* Yet you forget...I know what ALL of you look like. *If Remmy would turn her gaze, she would see Ran standing there with the base of the dark chains in his hands. His eye glowed a menacing red as he glared at her, wondering if La Mort would finish her off*

Remmy! ::uncertain of what threat to protect her from, Pyralis sends a stream of fire at the chain in an attempt to free her... nope, i never said he was smart crying ::
don't you feel it? :;she transforms to her guardain form, trying to pinpoint the location::
i've got a plan ::cheerfully, keeping up her pace:: and besides, Ran knows who we are, if he works for La Mort he's probably already told him by now.... now... where... are... they? ::she didn't realize she was moving around things as easily as if she had her sight back, or that she was doing it instictively... at least until she finally reached them and heard Pyralis yell out Remmy's name:: Remmy? ::softly:: dang it... ::she pulls out the Dark card from where she'd been keeping it:: how do i use this thing?! ::unknowingly only a few feet behind Ran::

*Ran watched as the fireball struck the chain, not quite powerful enough to break it. He shot another chain out at Pyralis, just to stun him for a bit. Ran smirked and looked over his shoulder at the blind Franki who was struggling with her card. He walked over to Franki, the chains binding Remmy still in his hand. He smirked and grabbed Franki's hand gently in his* Franki, Remmy needs your help. I can help you, let me be your eyes. *Ran's voice was calm and gentle as if he had never changed to his negative persona. He would show Franki how to use her card alright. At this thought he turned the card to face Remmy and instructed Franki how to use the cards power* Just say the words and your energy should strike La Mort. *Deep inside, he was laughing at how Franki's energy would be used against her own friends*

*Ran gritted his teeth as he felt his arm being twisted behind his back. He glared at her over his shoulder and kicked her foot out from under her* Fine, we can play that way too. stressed *He brought his free elbow back and across Franki's cheek, breaking her grasp on him, then grabbed her by the wrist* ...and if you won't play, then I will. twisted *With that, Ran began to tighten his grasp on her wrist and try to pry the card from her hand*

::she grins darkly:: then by all means, let's play ::she tightened her hold on the card, trying to figure out how the heck to activate it as she opens her senses, focusing on him. hey, it had worked once right? she twists so that the hand holding her wrist pulls his arm across her body and she has her back pressed against him... then rams her elbow into his stomach at the same time she hooks one foot around his leg and pulls it out from under him::

Err...you bit- *Ran was cut off as the elbow was rammed into his stomach. The power holding the chains on Remmy was broken and she was set free. Ran narrowed his eyes and began to feel himself falling as his leg was kicked out from under him* Nice try! scream *Ran grabbed onto Franki's shoulders as he fell back and planted his other foot into her lower back. Rolling back with the fall, he pulled with his arms and kicked forward with his foot, throwing Franki over him and back about 3 feet*
