Silent Lucidity floated up the stairwell toward the fifth floor, having heard Sahira's declaration that that was their goal. She reached the door and "listened" to the guards on the other side. One of them was wondering what Locke was doing up here so late at night.

((Because the troops guarding Locke were completely oblivious to the battle being waged outside the walls be three different factions?))

((True, but I'm sure they'd be informed to shoot anyone who came in, otherwise we could just walk in and say hi, how you doing, we're here to talk to Mr. Badguy. We have a crazy blond chick who outranks you guys, so please, step aside.... hmm, that's sounding like a good idea. What those guards said is completely cannon, and S.L. should inform everyone else on it.))

Sahira moved up by SL, quiet and fast. She could hear the guards clearly, and turned to Silent Lucidity. "You can make them sleep, or I can take them out by other means."

Sean followed the group, shaking his head. "Locke's forces are out fighting. Why not just kill our way through? There isn't that many of them."

Das Steube Sean followed the group, shaking his head. "Locke's forces are out fighting. Why not just kill our way through? There isn't that many of them." Sahira glanced back at him with a grin. "That is what I meant by 'other means.' Unless anyone else is opposed, shall we?"

SL concentrated for a moment. They're out. This isn't where Locke is supposed to be during an attack, but he's here anyway. One of them was wondering why.

"So that means they don't know much about anything. We could have used Cross' rank to talk our way past." The Chief sighed, but SL had already put them out.

"It's always more comfortable to sleep next to the button of your big bombs. But whether the boys knew anything or not, they're still on the wrong side." Sahira smiled at the chief. "You're cute, Onyx. Damned if I don't like good boys now and then."

Minerva glanced at the chief and shook her head. "I could have played rank, but I'm not supposed to be here either. They would have had to call up a superior and confirm it, and trust me, Locke would know I'm not on his side. In the end, this way is better, don't have to worry about us getting killed, or them." She opened the door, and had to kick one of the sleeping soldiers to the side.

The Chief's arm whips down, a green sphere thrown from his hand into the man's mouth. The vibrations in the air leaving his lungs dissipated to nothing, giving the Chief a moment to punch the guy in the head, enough to knock him out.
"Let's go, we're running out of time." The Chief moved further in the room, keeping his gun ready as he opened another door.

Minerva followed after the cheif, "I got your back, let's do this."
((and Steube will have to fill in whether what's-his-name is on the otherside of that door or not))
