Kilik stepped through the sliding glass door and slipped his hands into his pockets. There were a few trainers that dotted the store here and there, but it seemed virtually empty. He told Rena to go look at the Pokemon they had on display from the Safari Zone so he could come in, get his purchases, and get out. Sadly, he figured that she would beg for him to go into the Safari Zone and catch something for her. With a sigh, he walked up and down the aisles of randomly assorted items, his hand on his chin. He pulled the Thunderstone out of his pocket and headed toward the front desk. "Excuse me, I'd like to sell this." Kilik placed the rock onto the counter.
The girl behind the counter smiled. "Okay, sweety!" she snagged the stone and placed it behind the counter, tapping away on the keyboard. "That'll get you...$1250. Here you go!" she handed Kilik his wad of money, and he nodded, fanning the money against him.
"Ooh, money! You make the world go round!" he laughed. He paused to think for a moment, then snapped his fingers, "Oh yes! There's a TM I'd like to buy, but I can only get it if I have the Soul Badge. Toxic?" he raised an eyebrow, then swung his bag around, scampered through the items and pulled out the blue box. He opened it and flashed the pink badge.
"My, my!" she giggled, "We're a top buyer today, aren't we?" She pulled out the purplish-orange disc and laid on the counter for him.

Jasmine held a distinct fondness of her Steelix that might have even surpassed her overall adoration of all Steel-types; he had been with her faithfully even before she became Olivine's Gym Leader. She found herself admiring Nina's Dragonair immensely, however; its beauty and grace was pretty unparalleled.
Surf would hit Steelix harder than she'd like, she knew. Although he had a monstrous defense against physical attacks, his special defense was not much in comparison. Granted, Jasmine had trained him intensely in that area, raising this stat significantly, but it was still his weaker point. Not only that, but Water-type attacks would score a critical hit.
"Let's get out of there, Steelix! Dig," she commanded swiftly, her tone quiet but rimmed with nervous excitement. The steel snake rammed his head forcefully into the ground, tunneling away just in time; his tail disappeared right before Krystal came to him. He covered up the opening of the hole quickly and firmly, as to block out the water that could follow him. Well, that's one less hole I'll have to fix later, Jasmine mused, leaving the rest of the attack to Steelix's discretion. She was glad she invested in one or two TMs, like her grandpa had suggested.

Train walked around a little more. This time, she ran into a Weedle. Since the Weedle seemed to be ignoring them, Train had Ratata suprise it with a Tackle. As Ratata jumped back after hitting the bug pokemon, the Weedle jumped up and shot some poisonous barbs at Ratata. Ratata cringed as it was hit. Ratata had been poisoned. But it didn't want to give up. Train tried to return it to it's pokeball, but it dodged the beam.
"If you really want to continue, then use another Tackle!" Ratata slammed into the Weedle again, but weaker than the last time. It cringed again as it felt the sting of the poison again.

Weedle hit the ground, and squirmed back up. It shot Ratata with Poison Sting again, and Ratata fell over. Train knew Ratata wouldn't be getting back up. She recalled Ratata. "Might as well finish what I started!" She said, and Pikachu ran in front of Train.
"Hit it with a Thundershock!" Train said, and Pikachu hit Weedle with a blast of electricity. Weedle fell over, it's eyes looking like spirals. Train picked up Pikachu and hurried back to Pewter. She ran into the Pokemon Center.
"Thank you." Nurse Joy said with a smile as she took Ratata's pokeball and Pikachu. Train sat in an empty chair and waited.

Kilik knew how to spend and flaunt his cash. The female clerk placed his selected items onto the counter. Three Great Ball, two Flamethrower TMs, a Thunderbolt TM, a Toxic TM, and the TMs for both Rain Dance and Ice Beam. He looked at the stack of disks, along with the three spheres that lay on the counter. "Yes...that should do it!" He crossed his arms over his chest and smiled, "That's it!"
"Wow, sir! You're spending quite a bit!" she giggled, typing up the purchases on the computer, "I doubt anyone's come into my store with so much in mind to purchase!" The total rang up on the screen, a whopping total of:
19800
"Goodness me!" she cried out, nearly fainting, "Are you sure you have enough?" she blinked at him.
"Of course I do. This is the first major spending I've gone on," he explained, "So my money's built up." He pulled the exact amount needed from his wallet, all ninteen thousand eight hundred of it, and handed the wad of bills to her. He watched her slip the cash into the register and then hand him his new items in a bag. "Thank you, miss."
Kilik slipped the plastic bag into his backpack and stepped outside. "Wow! I feel a lot better now that my wallet is a lot lighter!" He laughed, scratching the back of his head. He looked to his right to see Rena examining an Omanyte.

Ky soon found what he was looking for, finding a glass display of various snacks and foods under another counter towards the back of the Center. As he headed towards it though, not even the grumbling of his stomach could keep him from hearing Nurse Joy's surprised expression. Ky smiled and headed back to the front desk, hoping to find Crenu there. He saw him, but before he could get a word out, Crenu had disappeared into the shower room.
Ky just crossed his arms and shook his head. "Man, he leaves the fight without a word, trains all night long without a break, comes back, and doesn't even look for us? Jeez, he must be really tired or somethin'," Ky said with a laugh, turning to Nurse Joy. His smile faded. "N..Nurse Joy? Are you okay?"
"Ky... I don't think Crenu's... feeling well," Nurse Joy said, her voice quiet.
"Huh? What do you mean? Did he catch a cold?" Ky asked. He couldn't figure out the look on Nurse Joy's face. She looked worried, but in a different way. She looked confused, as if she was in a state of shock. "Oh well, I bet a shower is just what he needed. He'll feel better after that; I'm sure of it."
"I don't think so, Ky... I really don't," Nurse Joy answered, having been staring at the shower room's entrance the entire time. Her voice sounded depressed, as if every ounce of happiness was sucked out of her. Ky began to get worried, very worried.
'What on earth is going on?' he thought as he waited for Crenu to come out. His hunger didn't bother him anymore.

Krystal wasn't expecting Steelix to do something like that; He's pretty smart, she thought to herself, looking down to where he had dug. She could neither see nor hear him, and hovered a foot or two higher in the air to take a look at the ground.
Then, a lightbulb went off in her head, and she grinned. "If I can't see you, then I'll make it so I can!" she declared, spinning her body around at a breakneck speed. In doing so, she whipped up a Twister, and sent it along the ground of the arena. She hoped that by doing so she would be able to tear away at the ground and reveal where the snake was hiding.

After a few minuts, Crenu walked out of the showering room and into the lobby, toweling off his hair. He was still a bit wet and his clothes stuck to him like glue, he hated that feeling. As rubbed the towel all over his hair and away from his eyes, he spotted Ky waiting for him just outside the doorway. "...Ky." He stared at Ky, but did not emote in any way what so ever.

"H-hey, Crenu," Ky said, gulping. Nurse Joy was right; Crenu didn't look well at all. His face was so... lacking, so... cold. His stare seemed to pierce into Ky's eyes, making him feel very uncomfortable. Why wasn't Crenu happy? What happened? Trying to negate the effect, Ky forced a smile. "H-How'd training go? M.A. and I were a little worried when we didn't see you come back. Did... did you beat Bugsy yet?" Ky couldn't hold the smile forever. He was hoping Crenu would lighten up. It wasn't like him to just stare like this.

" All right no more messing around! Freefree use your Sleep Powder." The Butterfree twirled around a bit before it started to release the sleeping powder into the air.
Not sure how to guard against this, there wasn't much he could do, Shiva was a land and water based pokemon. Dante just hoped that Shiva wouldn't fall victim to the powder. Unfortunately for him, Dante wasn't known for his luck and the moment the powder touched Shiva's nose she dropped off like a rock. Sighing Dante just put his forehead on his folded arms for a second before looking up again. "Shiva please try to wake up." He shouted to the best of his torn up voices ability. He doubted that it would wake her up but it was always nice to try.
"All right Freefree! Lets charge up your Solar Beam now!" Stephanie said with a grin pointing at the sleeping seal. Once again the Butterfree spun around some in the air and it started to charge up its power. The more sunlight it gathered the brighter it was glowing. Suddenly with out warning it fired the beam directly at Shiva who lucky for her slept through the whole attack. That is until she passed out.
Sighing Dante reached for her pokeball and recalled her back into the ball. "You did a good job Shiva." He said softly to her before putting her ball down on the soft bed. "All right I guess I need to take to the air then. Bahamut you are up!" Upon seeing this Bahamut flew up and doing a few twirls herself came up onto the battle field ready for action.
“Well Dante is probably going to be staying here for the rest of the day. Perhaps you can do some training with him.” She said as they stopped outside his door. Through it they could hear the sounds of a battle going on. “Oh, lets see what he is doing now?” She said with a grin before pushing the door open quietly.

"No. Bugsy was not at his gym." Shiro looked at Nurse Joy, taking his gaze from Ky's eyes into hers. "My pokemon." He returned hsi gaze back to Ky, not blinkign once. "You hungry?"

"Uh.. yeah. I was just about to go eat before I heard you were here. There's food over there in the back," Ky said, pointing. He was a little relieved when he heard Crenu respond, but something was not right. His sentences were too concrete, almost devoid of emotion. Thinking this, Ky had to ask. "Hey, are you alright?"

"I'm fine. I'm better than fine, infact I'm greater than I have ever been. My mind is clear Ky." Crenu cracked s grin for the first time since he had awoken, but this was not a good smile. This was not smile bursting with sunshine and happiness, it was a grin of twisted intentions. He took his pokeballs from the tray that Nurse Joy had so nervously brought over and took them with him as he walked to the cafeteria.

Rena came running back to him, smiling. "It says that Omanyte was found by Mr. Ranmo!" she laughed, pointing at the Pokemon, "Isn't your name Ranmo?"
He blinked, and nodded. "Yeah, that's my dad. He's always finding something and submitting it to something," he explained, unclipping three Pokeballs from his belt and throwing them into the air. Each one burst right after the other, and his Flareon, Weezing, and Ludicolo. They all looked around confused as to why they were outside and not in a battle. Flareon, however, decided it was nice and ran up to Kilik, bounding up to his shoulder. Kilik placed his fists on his hips (in a very Lt. Surge fashion) and addressed his party.
"Alright!" he said loudly, "After that loss to Mike, I did some thinking! You all need new moves, and starting today," he smirked, "You're getting those moves!" He felt like a general addressing his soldiers. Granted, it was a strange bunch of soldiers. Weezing stared up at the sky with a blank expression on his face, with a bit of sludge dripping out of his mouth. It splatted to the grass and he snapped to attention with a quick 'Weez!'
Ludicolo, on the other hand, was rocking back and forth to a rhythm in his head. His eyes were closed and his duck bill was turned into a smile. "I don't think they're listening, Sarge," Rena laughed, looking over at him. She walked over to Weezing and stared into his eyes. "Hey cutie. Wanna learn some new moves?" She tilted her head in a cute fashion and smiled warmly. She took her slender fingers and traced them along Weezing's cheek. Immediately, Weezing began to nod and spurt out heart shaped clouds of smoke. He was ready and willing to do whatever it took, as long as it made this girl happy.

As soon as Crenu smiled, Ky's smile faded to a look of confusion. There was something weird in Crenu's tone that Ky couldn't put his finger on. It was different, and that's all he could tell. In some way, Crenu had changed, and it really bugged Ky to not know what he was thinking. Ignoring it for the moment, he decided to follow Crenu to the cafeteria, though the thought still lingered as he walked.
