Ryudo grinned and faded back into the shadows of the wall, only to reapear, this time out in the open, in front of Victor, from a shadow cast by a pile of boxes.
I know what its like to be hunted, Sir Aura of Undead. I, myself, am a Shadow Dragon. Dealing with those who hunt my kind has become a bit of a chore throughout my long life. I can assure you, however, that there is not a single hunter of your kind within a square mile of this place. And, even if there were, I would assist you in repelling him, for I have taken a liking to you, and I protect that which I like. What a waste it would be to lose one like yourself, when you have so much information I could add to my own knowledge...
Ryudo grinned, his silver hair covering his eyes, giving him a slightly sinister appearance. But no aura of an immediate threat emanated from his being.

His dark blue eyes opened fully as the man appeared in front of him.
"Not all of those who hunt fit a specific criteria, Many vampires hunt others to take thier power. Or a demon could be interested in one to be his agent in the physical plane. In either case, you have yet to give -your- name, so I'll not give you the satisfaction of mine."
Note he still had yet to confirm the undead accusation. However, his hand was no longer resting on his sword, not that it was easily discernable through his thick cloak.

Well then, it seems my name has taken on a matter of importance and relevance in order for me to endulge myself in the knowledge I wish to attain. Since that is the case, I shall give you what you seek... My name...is Ryudo Kazamaru.
Ryudo then bowed to the man, his silver hair hanging down over his face. He then returned to his normal upright position, his red eyes clearly visable through his hair.
And now, might I know your name...?

He muttered something under his breath as he glanced around the rooftops slowly as if making sure they were alone in the ally,
"Hnnnn, very well."
He made a flourid and extravagant bow towards the silver-haired individual in front of him.
"My name is Victor Ven Long......Count Victor if you wish to be technical."
He straightened back up and gazed at the figure in front of him with an almost bored expression.
"so do you always lurk in the shadows of allyways until someone interesting happens along, Mr Kazamaru?"

"Sails for sale" Chris bellowed, sitting on a boat sail folded many times. It was still about 5 foot square, and 3 foot tall, making it a comfy seat. "Sails for sale, 100% gen-yoo-eye-n ship sails" People would probably be wondering why Chris had sails, or how he acquired them. Earlier that day, he had simply nicked them from some boat. Which he'd recently just seen flying up in the air for no reason. He felt sorry for the simp who bought the boat. But was eager to sell the sails and make a sale, hopefully there would be a gale, so he could high tail.

Ryudo grinned again.
No, however when I DO happen by an interesting individual, I try to enguage them in conversation. If they are rude, I tend to get into a fight with them. However fighting is usually not my first choice of action.
He nodded as he finished speaking.
Well then, Count Ven Long, would you care to partake of a beverage or two at the local tevern seeing as we don't seem to have much more to accomplish in this alleyway.

He stared at Ryudo for what seemed like an eternity, his gaze probing as if he were almost staring -through- the shadowy individual and looking at something else. He closed his eyes and allowed a mild smile to cross his features.
"Hmf, very well, however, -I- shall choose my own manner of beverage, I prefer the guise i have on in comparison to my true nature."
He said rather pointedly in a way to tell Ryudo he'd rather not discuss the 'undead' thing.

What the hell...
Silver walked towards the man curiously, and groaned when he saw his face. He reconized the person as Chris, a man who was bothering him moments before he met Enki Leviathan during that whole Providence scenerio. But that's another story.
Deciding not to ask where he got the sails, he confronted Chris.
"Would you mind if I took a look at the sails in question?"

"Er.. yeah, kinda. Considering we'd have to unfold them and s**t" If Chris smoked, this would be the part where he takes a drag, looks to the left, squints, exhales, and then adresses Silver. If only he smoked. "Whats up? Why you need them anyway?"

Silver looked at him, annoyed.
"Why else would I need sails? I need them for my ship. Not that its any of your buisiness, anyways."
Silver sighed slightly.
"So, can I take a look at them or not?"

"Yeah, sure." Chris stood up, and then sat back down. Grinning like some sort of catsup grinninator. "For a price" wink

Enki Leviathan *Enki thinks for a moment, glances down at the papers held before him, then shakes his head slightly, closing his eyes as he does*
I'm sorry, but the forest is not for sale. Now, does the fee have to be in a certain monetary note, or will straight gold do? "Regional currency should do perfectly fine, then, Mr. Leviathan," James said with a renewed smile; tossing the bundle of papers over his shoulder and into the harbor behind him without the hint of a second thought on the matter. "The payment does not have to be in one lump sum, however if you so choose you can make it as so. An amount may be refunded to you based upon the availability of the materials and the cost of construction as opposed to labor... you know... and... stuff." The man paused, chuckling slightly, and shoved both of his hands into the pockets at his sides on the outside of his jacket. "Don't blame the messenger for passing on the word," he said; stepping forwards to the Leviathan and producing a pen out of the right-hand pocket, which he twirled twice in his fingers before presenting it, butt first.
