"Green-haired cutie?"It was the kind of comment that probably didn't bother anyone except Sakura. Her mind immediately started to run a mile a minute - Owle didn't know anyone else with green hair or relate to them as family, as far as she knew, or at least spoke of as a relative. Unless he was talking about Rage? Well, it was certainly a nice compliment, but he was already spoken for by his girlfriend, Elvidnir. Besides, they had just met downstairs. Wouldn't he have said something then? Who could Sunny possibly be talking about that was cute, part of Owle's extended family, had green hair, and wasn't Rage-- Crap.

Owle couldn't contain herself. She just burst out laughing, and, for a long time, didn't stop.
...assuming everyone stayed quiet long enough for Owle to get herself under control, Owle would, between the occasional giggle, say "My brother, *giggle* Rage. He's a girl sometimes *ahahaaha* You get used to it."
Then she collapsed into another fit of giggles.

Kalis had been about to comment. He really had. His blank stares had ceased shortly when he hit the point of necessary delay of disbelief. Because he understood the situation now. It was just a mind boggling one was all.
Instead, he blinked and stared blankly ahead through the antics flying about the room. It would have been more comic if he'd been standing post straight upright, not lounging in a chair with just his neck erect.
Red eyes rounded one Owle, and contributed quietly "If you don't mind me saying... your family is weird..."
That was counting her.
It all just took some getting used to was all. Hopefully you could get used to it.

"Brother...RAGE?!?" Sun blinked much like Kalis had, it didn't take him long, however, and the grin turned feral.
"Even better! Fighting, drinking and loving all in a nicely endowed package!"
He'd gotten closer to Sakura now, head tilted and something wicked gleaming in his eyes. He was fairly tall compared to her now, but he saw the similarities between the girl and the man who'd sat down at the bar next to him. Absolutely...facinating magic.
"That is...as long as the assets shift alongside the actual change."
Oh how the mind boggled. You'd have to be fairly innocent to miss the direction Sun's mind had just turned.
"Tell me you're single, tell me you like me, tell me anything! My heart is yours~<3" And yes, the heart was there. And Sun honestly wondered why he always ended up in so much trouble.
Truthfully, Sun wasn't completely trying to scandalize the man, he just liked hearing Owle laugh.

At Kalis's comment, Owle's feeble efforts to contain her giggles fell to pieces. She laughed so hard that she rolled right off the bed, landing with a thud on the floor.
Where she continued to giggle even more. Poor Rage...she would have felt bad for him if this wasn't so hilarious.

"Pft-"
Kalis couldn't help but smiled fondly and swallow a small part of a laugh at Owle's reaction. Eyes down on her, he pushed his chair out away from the bed and rose, putting one palm to his lower back and stretching it out. The other ran through his hair, shoving it out of place in some attempt to fix it, before slipping into his pocket. It didn't really matter, as his hair was long enough to play or bother with but not so much that it got into his vision.
He stood idly, leaning onto one slightly bent leg and looking up from the floor to Sunstrike.
"Well,"
He began, eyes going back to Owle for a moment to linger, before they turned up to the man. He wasn't so worried about interrupting the- joke?- flirting, as much as it had contributed to putting the wry little amused grin on him. But he felt the need to ask something else as long as everyone had arrived.
"does this mean we're ready to go?" he finished the sentence after an overdrawn pause, and grinned a different sort. He might not have savored the idea of traveling to a realm of gods even if it wasn't to combat something with a person on the line, but the whole scenario seemed curious, interesting. With no other choice to make him wonder if he'd chosen right, something interesting was enough to make him almost outright eager.
No, he didn't care so much about the gods. He wanted to see just what this group of people he was with would do.

For some reason it was as if Sakura's brain ran at double-time compared to her male counterpart. Perhaps it did, because she seemed to process everything and come up with a response with little trouble. She was somewhat used to being hit on at this point, both male and female by... males and females. It was usually met with a very respectful decline - Rage already had a girlfriend, and a necromancer at that.
... come to think of it she'd probably kill both of them and shortly re-animate their bodies to kill them again. Off on a tangent. It wasn't that she wasn't uncomfortable being hit on in either form, but there was something a little too intent in those eyes of his. There was something different about this guy that made it far more awkward and, apparently to everyone else, humorous than ever before. Curious, hadn't she seen one of them on someone el--
FOCUS!
Owle was literally rolling on the floor with laughter and Sakura was about to be pinned to the wall by a man whose mind seemed to be running wild with hungers of the flesh. Maybe she could just jump out the window. Hey... how the hell did he verbalize a heart, anywa--
DO SOMETHING!! DO
"Anything!" she said shortly, followed by whatever else jumped into her head. "I'm in a relationship with a lovely girl, and you seem nice but I barely know you. But I can certainly tell you anything!" She followed up with one of those big, cheesy grins and half-circle eyes. Might as well get things cleared up a little, but she didn't want to trample all over the guy, either.
Hey. Maybe she could use this to her advantage - Sun shouldn't be the only one to have fun. But how?
Let him make another move....

"Ahh, thats good to hear!" Anything...
Sun responded to Sakura/Rage without really acknowledging how close he was getting to the other person. It wasn't carnal thoughts burning in those strange eyes, it was curiosity.
"Do you just change from one to the other? Or do you have other forms as well? What sets it off? Is it a natural ability or a curse or have you just melded with another being and or beings-"
And so on.
In some respects this was far worse then being subjected to flattery.

Kalis's question just put a big damper on Owle's giggles. They just stopped all together, and Owle was left, trying to catch her breath on the floor.
There just wasn't anything funny about going back into a realm you'd only barely escaped from twice before.
No matter how much bravado she showed, no matter how much she made fun of and belittled the gods...Owle was well aware of the chances she had of not coming back. How many times could you get away with ringing Death's doorbell and running?
If Owle had anything to say, though, she was too out of breath from her fit of giggles to voice it. She just lay there, for now, watching Rage and Sun.
After a moment, she reached a hand up to Kalis, silently asking to be helped to her feet.

Kalis was serious, but at the same time he was worried. Owle's sudden silence apparently wasn't a big enough clue in, so he shrugged off apparent completely being ignored. People would play around like this as long as they could if they were about to do something that had them worried about if they'd be coming back.
Or if they were just goofballs.
He turned back around and bent over, taking a hold of Owle's wrist, and pulling her back up to her feet with him as he stood. With that, unless she wanted anything, he'd just settle against a wall and fold his arms over his chest, watching the rest of them with a bored little smile.
He was in fact eager to do this. Partially to get it out of the way, partially to see just what these people could do, and partially because it was something new. A test. The idea of seeing how one measured up was always fun. Kalis wasn't the sort to kick down the door before everyone was ready anyhow, though. Even if there had been a door to kick down that would take them into the hostile divine territory. Or something like that.

The same curious look and bombardment of questions... for a brief moment Sakura wondered if the two of them had been separated at birth. She actually seemed calmed by the questions - being a curious person herself, she always thought it was exciting to explain things to others, particularly the supernatural.
She and her counterpart weren't all brawn, no brains, after all.
"It's a pretty simple change, actually. Nothing really painful, although at first I was a little, uh, off-balance... I'll let you figure out why.... No other forms, though. Just the male and female. It's set off by water, though. Cold water turns me into this, and warm water changes me back to how I naturally am - I'm pretty sure it's a curse, seeing as how I fell into a spring and I came up as a woman...."
Being such a social person had it's benefits.

"The reaction is from water? Wow...a curse attached like an allergic reaction..." He almost reached out and touched her forehead, but Owle's laughter dying off made him turn and look between Kalis and her.
"Ah, about that..." Sun looked up at the ceiling for a moment, and then walked towards the winged girl. "I need to have a small word with you for a second Owle, erm...between us two..." He looked at the other occupants of the room in embarassment.
"Sorry about this..."

Owle smiled as Kalis helped her up, gloom vanishing for a moment at his touch. She opened her mouth to say something, to thank him, but then Sun was upon her.
"Um...sure," Owle said, glancing around the room for a moment, not sure what to make of the expression on Sun's face, or of the sudden request to speak to her alone. There was nothing Sun could say to Owle that she wouldn't want Rage or Kalis to hear, but if Sun was trying to keep Siat out of this, or if he just didn't want people he'd just met knowing something, then Owle could understand that.
She wasn't about to wait for everybody to clear out of her room, though.
"'Scuse us," she mumbled to the others.
Then taking Sun by the hand, she led him into the nearest door, which wound up leading to her bathroom. It was clean, if not tidy, and there was room enough in it for the two of them to stand comfortably. Owle shut the door behind him.
"Not the best accomodations, but they won't be able to hear you on the other side unless you shout. What's wrong?" she asked, concerned.

Kalis raised a brow at Sunstrike, but he was ready to head out the door as soon as Owle let go of his hand, assumed on top that she didn't disagree of course.
Then, she sort of did. He blinked, but stood aside and let her guide the redhead away, tucking his hands into his pockets and just sitting back.
With that, he looked over first Siat, and second Rage. Which was where his attention stayed.
Or more specifically, his katana, if he still had them on him. Her. Rage.
If they were elsewhere, he'd spend a longer period examaning whatever weapons Siat had on him before looking on to Rage and considering those things.
Because it was something to think about.

Sunstrike felt like he needed more then just to shout, he wanted to scream in frustration. As it was, he blinked at her and gave a lopsided grin.
"Tijae, is kind of...alive. She's just decided to run off in the middle of the conversation I was having with KB."
He wasn't sure what kind of reaction that would get from Owle. Sun rubbed the back of his neck in embarassment.
"She's alright, causing gods know what kind of trouble, but...it does mean you might not have to venture into the other side now."
