Merryn- Soooo... I noticed that there are a lot of people around that seem to have powers and know a lot about the supernatural. Is that normal? I've never been around lots of people before.
A little worried that she may have been too forthright Merryn slapped her forhead with her palm.
Merryn- I am so sorry, I shouldn't be so quick to talk. What are your names?
Glancing at Rose Merryn watched Catori and Aiden's faces expectantly.

"I'm Aiden and this is my sister, Catori." Catori was still upset with Aiden so she didn't say anything. "Don't fret over the magic stuff. Those of us from Hogwarts aren't even allowed to use any of it while away from school."

Merryn- You have rules inflicted on you too?! ... It's been hard not doing anything I used to.
Scratching her nose and stumbling over her words Merryn cocked her head at Catori.
Merryn- So Catori, is doing magic at school fun or just a different kind of work?

Rose just kind of sat there, not being able to talk much. Merryn reminded her of a former Rose. All shy and sweet and embarressed when one bad thing happened. It was kind of sweet, actually.

Turning her head to look at Rose a grumble errupted from her stomach. Giggling nervously Merryn made to get up.
Merryn- Would any of you like to come get food-
Looking at Aiden Merryn changed her question...

Alaric opened the door to the star and was holding it open for his friends from the coffee-bar when he spotted a very familiar purple haired figure getting drinks from the bar. "Harbird! evil "
Harbird, jerked out of his merrymaking mood, looked up to see his irate little brother bearing down on him Uh. Oh. Busted... "Heeeey, Little Bro! Fancy meeting you here!"

Alaric threw his hands up in disgust and turned his back on his brother. "The first thing i ask you to do and you ditch it. Which girl was it? "
"I... I.. dangit, i'm supposed to be the older brother here. Can't this wait until we're not at a party? please?" Harbird cringed to hear himself begging his little brother not to fight. this has to be the lamest thing you've ever, ever done...
"You know, somehow i don't feel like partying anymore." Alaric made for the door and left the club in a huff.

Jescobe winced as he heard the argument between the sibbilings, and opened his mouth to say something, only to see Alaric storm out. He was surprised to see what he had thought was a mellow boy get so upset. Then again, he really didn't know Alaric that well. Finally making up his mind he went after him, but saw no one on the street that he knew. So with a dejected sigh he trudged his way back home.

Alex stumbled into the Fallen Star, tears still running down her face silently. She was confused, hurt, and didn't know where else to go. She had escaped her house as soon as she could, not wanting to cause more trouble then she already had. She sat down at the bar, not noticing her suroundings. "I.. just want someone to... love... me..." She said, inbetween sobs.

Quinn entered the Fallen Star, looking distracted. On his way to sit at the bar, he accidentally walked into someone. After apologizing repeatedly to them, he continued to go and sit down at the bar. He quickly pulled off his bag and set it down in front of him, leaning forward on the bar.

Alex looked up as someone bumped into her. He apologized multiple times, and went and sad at the bar. She looked at him, the tears stopping. She felt that she knew this guy... But she couldn't remember how... She kept on staring, not noticing as she did. where is he from...? I think I know him... Thoughts raced across her mind and she wiped her tears from her face.
