The wolf seemed slightly disappointed and followed after her not really taking the hint. He had the oddest sensation that he walked through a jolt of electric air and sneezed, giving his head a shake as he passed through the ghost girl. He licked his lips and blinked, looking about curiously for the source of the sensation and then continued after Marie. She wasn't wearing a red hood but she could at least keep him company until he finished off his drink right?
"What's your name?" He asked with a small smile, his tail wagging.

Marie sipped at her drink, a little curious as to why he had followed her. But when seeing his tail wag, she decided not to yell at him to go away or anything. "My name? I'm Marie." She fiddled with a strand of hair as she looked him over. He could definitly be a good subject for a dark-themed painting. Would he object to her sketching him? "What is your's?"

The boy took a seat and made sure that his tail wasn't going to get stuck in the chair in any way before he responded.
"I'm Yi Xian." He spoke with a smile, a slight accent to his voice. "I'm rather new here so I'm just kind of hanging around people who seem to know what they're doing. I hope you don't mind if I follow you, I promise I won't bark at you or anything."
His ears perked up in contentment and he took a long sip from his mug, feeling the warmth from it spreading through his body and making him lazy.

Feeling a little more comfortable with a table between them, Marie shifted and relaxed in her seat. "It's a pleasure to meet you Yi Xian. And, I suppose I don't mind...so long as you don't eat me." She gave a nervous laugh, her glass held between her slender fingers. "Um...in return for following me...would you mind if I drew you?" She then held up her small hand-cover sketchbook which she usually carried around with her when inspiration hit. She doubted he'd want to sit for hours to model for a painting or sculpture so drawing him was the next best thing. The drawing would also served as a preliminary to a painting she wished to do.

((Psst, which one of your Loli's is Marie, I keep refreshing but it never seems to land on her...))
In a typical canine fashion Yi Xian canted his head to the side, a quiet whine of confusion escaping him. Draw him? He'd never acted as a model before but the thought had merit. It would be one time when he could simply sit and think, staring at something and not get asked why he was glaring at something. He couldn't help it if his expression relaxed in that way, he simply wasn't used to smiling too much. At least not smiling in a non predatory nature.
"You really want to draw me? Well I suppose that's okay, I just hope you're used to sketching out fur..."

((She's the Sleeping Beauty one, in the long pale blue dress with long blonde hair. 3nodding ))
Marie smiled lightly and opened her sketchbook to a clean page then took out a pencil. "I've been drawing for ages, including animals of all sorts." She first started sketching out the basic image of him, not worrying about details just yet. "Just relax and act natural. No need to put on a smile for this one." She sketched fast, her fingers and eyes experienced over the years. Yes, this would make for a great painting when she got back to the manor. Drawing him made her nervousness slip away so that she could now act naturally.

His ears perked slightly when he heard the pencil scratch against the paper and he held his hot mug in a tight grip as he watched her work. He'd never practiced anything very... arty before so this was kinda cool to watch. His eyes focused on her fingers as they held the pencil and how they would adjust slightly to get different angles. He wondered for a moment if it would be alright to talk but figured that if she was a good artist then it wouldn't matter too much.
"How long have you been doing this?"

"Mm..." Marie thought back to figure out just when she started to draw, her pencil scribbling out the basic outline. She then began to draw out the details, her eyes looking up at him then down again, repeating the process every few minutes. "I suppose ever since I could hold a pencil. But I've had a lot of practice over the years to get to the level I'm at now." The drawing was now taking shape since she sketched fast. Her professors always pressed her to move faster when drawing without skipping out on the fine details. "I'm decent...but not a master. I still have a while to go before getting to that level..."

He began to relax and could feel a slight glower coming to his face. He leaned on the table, his hair falling over his eyes slightly as he did so. In the light of the cafe he didn't look nearly as intimidating as when he was out in his element, or worse when he hefted his axe around. The caffein was making his nerves slightly jittery but he forced himself to utter stillness, glancing around the room from the corners of his eyes.

Marie finished up her sketch be adding in the smaller details, making his fur look fine as if you could feel it just from the drawing. She then looked up at him and set her sketchbook down, taking another sip of her drink. "All done. Thank you for letting me draw you."

((My brain is starting to seep out my ears, I'll have to rp another night))
The wolf leaned over to look at the picture and raised a furry eyebrow at the finely done picture. The detail that was paid to his fur made him grin and he ran his tongue over his fangs, immedietly liking how she'd captured his Alpha-ness, if that was a word. He glanced up at the clock on the wall and blinked, realizing that he'd spent more time there than he meant to.
"I'll have to come follow you another time, I need to get home. If I pop out of nowhere's at you don't be surprised..." Yi Xian smirked and headed for the door, his tail wagging as he went.

Elisabeth sighed and slumped her shoulders as she watched the two converse and then again as the wolf-boy left... "I suppose it comes with being dead... No one sees you," she said softly aloud. Curious to see just how well this -Marie- had done at drawing the boy she floated over to have a look over the human girl's shoulder.
Merryn's eyes widened and she burst out laughing. "Is everyone related to, or at least know, Jak and his siblings?" Giggling, Merryn brushed her hair out of her face. "Well, if you're going to live with them... or see them often, you'll meet a boy about a head taller than me with shaggy black hair. That's Kalan James, my brother and Akki's boyfriend."
((sorry that took so long, my boyfriend called))

Kel's green eyes stared at Merryn in shock. "The mouse has a boyfriend? How did she manage that? I really have been out of the loop."

Merryn rolled her eyes to show her agreement and played with her halo. "Yeah, well, Kalan isn't so outspoken either. Lord knows how they met, but it happened." Taking a sip of her drink she shrugged her shoulers and let her wings ruffle.

Marie smiled lightly then nodded to Yi Xian. She probably would be a bit surprised if he just popped out of nowhere but she wasn't going to admit it. "Then I shall see you another time." She finished off her drink then looked at her drawing again. She couldn't wait to start painting it. Just as she did, however, Marie felt the presense of another, a small chill running up her spine. When she turned her head, she caught a glimpse of a transparent girl hovering near her. Damn the inner eye... It wasn't the first time she'd seen such a sight...but it never failed to spook her.
((Off to bed I go if I'm gonna get any sleep tonight.))
