Mat my guard officer took on a termi captain and emperors champ and held out against both for like 3 turns Ah yes the insanity of the imperial guard. I think my proudest moment was when a command section assualted a Carnifex. I think he danced with it for a good 3 assualt phases. And that leutinant didn''t come anywhere close to running even when it was just him and his chain sword versus a living tank........ If we could have found the body he would be encased in the finest mass grave we made that hour.

Oh, something like that happened to me, a force commander with power fists blew up my Rhino in close combat, and the ensuing explosion crushed him, it was hilarious.

early chaos had dismounted to squad from two rhinos against me. I blew up one and the explosion encompassed both squads

I blew up one and the explosion encompassed both squads Very nice although you probaly didn't take many of them down with it did you? My favorite story like that was when a friend messed up with his Rhino deployment and left 3 sides open to my assualting troops. Had to get crative and charge a group of Ratlings to the back of his Rhino. No Idea how they managed to either 1. hold the door closed against the likes of Space Marines but somehow they did after my Commander got lucky with his powerfist. I was so proud of my little guys that they all recieved a commision.... Posthumounsly of course since they were the closest to the of the space marines brothers. God damn I loved those little guys. For some reason they never ran and they actually managed somehow take down 3 space marines in a single round of combat. Those little guys were slaughtered to the man.... Or ratling however you want to look at it.

How was it? It was blazing hot outside and we ran out of water at about 2pm and the game lasted until 1145 pm kicking off at 1145am
