Jaistilin I REALLY like the new autarch's just because now noone can say our hq's are just pansy psychic users and monsters.+ I had always wanted a leader who rocked in close combat. ^_^ Farseers and warlocks made good cc units when mounted on bikes. But I can understand wanting a more conventional hq, which Im happy to see as well.

which autarch do you think will have better outcome ? autarch with fusion gun, or autarch with power sword?

It doesnt look...flamy and doomy enough.. Well at least it isnt as badly painted as those kill teams in the rulebook ;-_-... -Mihawk

Well at least it isnt as badly painted as those kill teams in the rulebook ;-_-... -Mihawk god those things are disgraceful. anyway, i think the new rules can be toyed with a whole bunch for eldar, especially with the in-codex adding of harlequins. converting them was such a biatch for the troop transport and such. gonna love adding in Great harlequins, but im going to miss solitaires crying

plibbles which autarch do you think will have better outcome ? autarch with fusion gun, or autarch with power sword? give him a jetbike, laser lance and mandiblasters, 5 attcks at str 6 ignoring armour saves on the charge, cant beat it.

the autarch with bike does sound very nice very nice indeed biggrin .. the avatar's mid section looks decent, and the flaming cloth. looks like volcanic rock with lave but the rest of him need better work

Yes we will all miss the virtual rape of others armies by the solitaires.But at least we can now use harlequins with rules from the book.^_^

ive never played with them. how good are they in game play there stats seem decent, but i said that about striking scorpions and they were awsome onthe feild. how do the harlequins tactics make them as good as i hear?

Lets see they have hit and run, furious charge, meaning they get 5 attacks if they charge. (2 base+1 for pistol and cc weapon+2 for charging.) Ignores difficult terrain, can give the entire unit (minus Death Jester) a Harlequins kiss (rending weapon) and can take 2 fusion pistols.In my own opinion they are close combat demons and can take on literally anything if you kit them out with everything.

and the solitaire (although I've never used one) can take out a good chunk of your opponents army. (this happened to my friends once it killed almost everything)

Unfortunately you cant take a Solitair anymore. All there is a Harlequin,Shadow Seer, Death Jester and Troup Master. I would have loved to try a Solitair and a Mime.
