PainfulThrill Dice Black PainfulThrill Dice Black PainfulThrill I have a weird question.. What element would best suit your character, and why? Kad would be water for sure. The ever raging Rapids for her. She flows and finds a way and sometimes does destroy what's in her path. Sometimes she needs a guide, like a dam or an aqueduct to make her more effective or stop and have to think before doing something. Odd thing is though, I pegged Kad as a Leo. Which is a fire western zodiac. Lol still it's her sun sign, her moon is Scorpio which makes sense for the water. So she's steam hahaha xD I like that answer. 3nodding Woot! yay! Finally sitting down to be able to post for Kad. It's been a day. x.x Good or bad day? Good, just busy. Lots going on, nothing bad just doing stuff. I'll do that a lot, just hit the ground running for a few months and always having something to do, which is really easy when you have a kid lol, then I'll crash for a few weekends and just jump right back on and keep going. Like that sentence I just typed xD Whatevs its OOC

I wanna see how they will effect how the characters gfeel about eachother and whatnot.

The only thing I'm not super happy with is that Akio and Dal were put on opposite ends of the brackets. And Akio is paired against someone who has arguably the best starting position in terms of stats. Just remember the plan! We just have to win until they fight each other! XD

I'd like to think that too, but the dice have plans of their own. I'm not getting my hopes up, that's basically inviting calamity, but I'd like to think Dal has a chance here too. And don't worry about me blaming you for that! I would never! I would, however, blame you if I lose. Cause it'd be totally your fault. Cursing me and stuff. XD

That's got some magnificent drama potential right there. Specially if Corrinne is at all bothered by Dal's complete lack of notice.

True, true. I'm really excited about this fight though. Honestly, it has one of the best possible outcomes for Dal, this early into the rp. 3nodding Also! True. It is just a tourney, but I want that prize! It's too tempting to have that mental torment in Dal's hands! The fun I could have with him agonizing over the choice to find the one code that ruined his life, and at the same time having no choice but facing his fear of the beast, because he has a subconscious mental block, made in the night his life was destroyed, constantly telling him he isn't strong enough yet, or fast enough, etc, etc. Dude... I sound like a d**k... Happy at the thought of tormenting my character? I mean, it's all for character development, but still... I sound like an a*****e. >.>

Though, Akio probably wouldn't agonize over it, I've toyed with him looking for the one that killed Kimiko.
But don't~ Otherwise, I would have to feel bad for some of the s**t I put mine through, and I don't wanna. lol
No, seriously though. It's fine to want to push your characters.
Characters are like geodes. To figure out what they're made of, you must break them. emotion_bigheart
Edit: Actually, on second thought, the one that got Kimiko is probably dead. Bugger, that's probably not a road I can go down.

These are words of wisdom. Seriously. I'm gonna live by them from now on. 3nodding True, but Akio has had a lot more time to get over his loss than Dal, so naturally he could agonize less. I mean, it's only been ten days for my poor guy, the desire for revenge fresh in his mind. I'll be fine if he doesn't get it, but the fun I could have with it, makes me want it all the more. XD

Thinking about it now, it was probably never one to begin with. Akio isn't driven by revenge, but instead insight, so he'd be more likely to use it to find new specimens of the creatures. My opinion at least.

Good. Take the phrase, and use it forever. It's a good one.
But yeah, you are right, and that's why he's not stiff suffering. It's been a couple years, so he's had time to grieve, though I wouldn't say that he's completely over it.
It's hard when you've been with someone most of your life then lose them suddenly. I'm sure Ace knows~
And either way, things will be interesting.
Well, you are right that he's not out for revenge, but their's a certain amount of pride that would come out of beating and subduing the thing that killed the person you loved. It's more out of spite than revenge, tbh. But then I remembered that it's more than likely dead. Which is butts. Oh, well. He's going to be very neutral about the competition, then.
But you are right, he doesn't care for revenge. And what's the point? The way he sees it, it was his fault anyway.
