Eiji "Gin" Mishima  "Whiiiiite liiiies~ Going through my miiind, all while I think of you~" Okay, so there was actually a bit of a story to this one. He wasn't singing a song because he remembered it particularly well, but rather the movie that he'd heard it in and the comical situation in which it was sung. The two guys were drunk, and they were trying to get the guy at the end of the street to sing along as well. But the guy at the end of the street kept groaning instead of doing the bass noises, because he was actually a zombie...it sounded a bit silly spelled out like that, but the truth was it was quite an amusing image when you saw it on the big screen. Gin chuckled as he recalled the two guys arguing about the third person who wasn't doing his job properly, too inebriated to realize that the person they were talking to wasn't even a person, and headed for the door. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Quickly, deal with the demons. If you want to to get stronger, there's no better way than fighting directly with enemies, Shiva. You have quite a ways to go if you want to reach your full potential." Gin was back to grinding to train his demons to fight in new and intense situations, and this time it was the god of dance and the legendary Lord of Destruction from Hindu mythology who was the focus of his demon training. It could easily kill the enemies around this area though, so it didn't feel like he was providing a particularly strong challenge for Shiva, and in turn they were gaining very little experience from the combat. It was a shame, but he was trying to help out, and they'd find more difficult foes if they simply kept tneir cool and moved on. Quote: Gin defeats a demon Current Demons: Lucifer

Eiji "Gin" Mishima "I don't think we're going to encounter anything with a much higher level around here. I apologize Shiva, I was sure that we would encounter something worth our time." Shiva delivered a quick and decisive blow to the last demon to enter the park, and with that solid finish taken care of Gin raised his phone to withdraw the demon to the safety of his stock before he left the area. There would be nothing to gain from staying, even if more demosn turned up, so he wanted to leave before they ended up in another round of pantomime fights that ended only in the sort of sad disappointment most of Touma's dates did for the girls in the morning. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Stop being such a bother. Alice, take care of yoru new friends before they become unwelcome playmates." Sure as the sunrise the little girl manifested and let out a wave of darkness that consumed the demons that stood before Gin. They'd come in a bit late to try to stop him from leaving the area, but their chances were as negligible as he'd thought they would be when he and Shiva had tested their strength earlier. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "More Spores here as well. I don't think we can finish these without setting them off, and that liquid on the ground looks like some of the neurotoxin already spilling out of them. We should steer clear of this area for the time being." Gin was looking for a safe place to train that would provide a real challenge for Shiva, but he was coming up blank even after searching his third block outside of the safe zone now. Unfortunately it also meant that he'd officially encountered an area filled with Alioth's missiles, and now he had to make sure to retreat with haste, while at the same time keeping his wits about him enough not to get ambushed or something worse while he let his guard down for a second. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "This must be a whole nest of spores. Keep an eye out as we retreat through the area." Gin motioned for his demons to spread out a bit and keep track of where the Spores were so that he wouldn't draw too close to them as he escaped the area. Running away was the smart move when you didn't know the full scope of your enemy's deadly abilities, and although the previous areas didn't offer much in the way of training, it was better if he trusted in the strength of his current demons, rather than try to kill Buds that looked ready to burst with lethal gases, and end up on the wrong side of death's door step. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "And we'll all float on okay~" Gin's ring of keys jingled lightly as he walked through the hallways of JPs, whistling the tune of the song in his head as he passed by several individuals. He was almost through the area without an incident or second thought when he ended up bumping shoulders with a provocatively dressed woman just short of the sleeping quarters, causing him to drop his keys. "Ah, sorry about that. I should have been watching where I was walking...ah, Kujou." The redhead ducked down to pick up the keys that he dropped, and his eyes lit up as he came to recognize the fellow entertainer who he'd met yesterday around a similar time.
"Ah, there you are Mishima. Hmm, where are your eyes at? I don't mind, as long as you remember that there's more going on up here than anywhere else, okay? Hee hee." Hinako poked a finger against the side of her head, teasing Gin while at the same time pointing out a fact that he was fairly well aware of himself, that Kujou was a talented dancer and also an all around fairly well balanced character. Her family didn't allow for dumb or boorish individuals, so she couldn't rely solely on her looks to carry her through from day to day, and indeed it seemed like her outfits were more of a personal preference than an attempt to shirk the duties. She was more clever than anyone else he'd spoken to here at JPs, that was for sure. But...again, he wasn't really looking, and he was happy to speak to someone as ready to handle the situation as he was, but his mind happened to be filled with thoughts of someone else. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?""Yes, the circumference of the Alioth Spores is directly proportional to the ********> the drummer's explanation to the young scientist was interrupted by an orderly shouting from the front of the base about a Spore landing nearby and in an instant he felt saved! If something had landed this close not only could he get a little bit of payback against the Spores of that son of a b***h Alioth, but he could use it as an excuse to get the Hell out of this interrogation, "Love to tell you more, but they need me out there. Use that s**t to kill the Septentrione or else!" It was an empty threat and he didn't care at all, he was out the door in a flash and Lugh was out before him, power filling his hand and launching into the Spore to scatter it like dust into the wind.
It...hadn't been nearly the fight he would have liked, but you took what joys you could when you could, he supposed. And now that he was free he could meet back up with his white-haired companion and get back to work in the town. Then again, maybe it would still be safer to stay indoors a bit longer...after all, the Spores still were falling all around him, intent perhaps on finishing him one way or another. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"The decision about whether to head back into town or return to the base had been made when the request came from Sako, all the way from Tokyo, that he return to the base and make another attempt at summoning Shiva with his dancing. Out of all of the people who had attempted it so far, Fumi had decided that his was one of the ones with the highest probability of successfully completing the mission. How she had calculated that remained a mystery...perhaps a spike in the level of power from within the summoning terminal or simply the fact that he was one Hell of a dancer compared to some of the untrained people who had given it a shot. He didn't know, and he didn't care...he just hoped that when he gave it another shot, the same rules from before applying, that his white-haired companion wouldn't be in the room because he did not want to hear her heckling when he knew she was just doing it to bother him.
He knew he was damn good at what he did. She wasn't about to rattle him in that regard. Though perhaps a dance-off with someone was what they would need in order to finally appease the fickle God and get his a** out to blast Alioth like a target at a carnival shooting gallery?
"Remember, JPs...I don't dance for free," the drummer reminded them as he settled into the room and the windows closed, nobody getting a show unless they paid extra. And then he burst into another of their choreographed dances from the music videos without a moment's hesitation, his mask from the video hiding his disgust with this particular moment in the band's history better than one might have hoped. Wouldn't have been the first time today, damned sure wasn't likely to be the last. At this point he had no illusions about the fact that Alioth was on a crusade against him, and that he was going on his own damned crusade to make sure that son of a b***h went down hard and fast just as soon as he had a plan to do it. He knew he was little more than a wolf howling at the moon right now, but all the same, when you were frustrated you needed to do a little venting. Calling Lugh to his side he opted for a two-sided approach...just in case his revenge beating wasn't enough to destroy the damned thing this would make sure the job got done. 'Percussive therapy' was the term. He rolled his neck as the last of the Spore reduced to magnetite and whatever else behind him, eyes flashing pleasantly as Lugh returned to the App and he closed his phone, slipping it back into his pocket and turning back towards the Headquarters to go back and report the defeat of another Alioth spawn. A few demons had followed the thing as well when it dropped, but they had been dealt with by Lugh without the master even needing to divert his attention from his 'session'. That was a nice change of pace. Things had become so freaking complicated and deadly ever since this Calamity began, it was nice for something to just be simple.
Alioth pisses you off? Beat the s**t out of its spores and let the devil handle the demons coming to try and ruin your opportunity to let off steam. Alioth still pissing you off? Go come up with a way to shoot the son of a b***h out of the sky and finish it off on the ground. Easy...except totally not, but who cares? He wasn't about to lie down for a ******** Septentrione even if it had a hard-on for killing him.

What was it you wanted to talk about?" her tone was legitimately concerned and yet retained that business-like, authoritative tone that both made Touma recognize her as the leader of this band and instinctively want to resist whatever it was she wanted of them. It was in his DNA...he didn't respond well to authority. What did you want from him? But he resisted the urge to say anything smart and simply said what he had wanted when he came in here. "This dancing and acting sexy s**t...are you pulling our legs, or is this real? Because if you are wasting our time and don't really have a plan to take down Alioth...I need to know so I can think of something that might actually work." It was a blunt question, but a fair one. And to his lack of surprise, she agreed.
"This is on the level, Makushima. Chief Hotsuin agrees that if we can use Shiva's Pasupata to shoot down Alioth, then we will be able to combat the core of the enemy and destroy it. Our demons' effective range is not high enough to attack an enemy that far into the atmosphere, unfortunately...but to gain Shiva's power, we must curry his favor. And Shiva is the Lord of Dance. As for Kama, well...there's always the possibility that Shiva will refuse to use such a powerful skill, and so our goal is to reenact the scene from mythology and have Kama shoot an arrow at him and enrage him. Then Shiva will attack Kama with Pasupata, whom we will have launched high enough into the air that the attack will land on Alioth and take him out of the sky. It's a failsafe, but it's better to have a second plan if the first doesn't achieve our goals. ...And I'm sorry, but I really can't tell you more at this time. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"Well when she put it like that, Touma supposed that the plan to defeat Alioth wasn't quite as insane as it sounded before. Still, he wasn't pleased with the idea that there might be more to what's going on than what the Chief was willing to tell them. Nothing pissed him off more than thinking that somebody else was making plans with his own life and future in the balance, treating him as though he was a pawn in some kind of a ******** game. Nothing would turn him against JPs faster than finding out that Yamato Hotsuin had some plan and was willing to see him dead if it helped him achieve it. Self-sacrifice, for all of his vices and virtues, had never been a part of the Touma Makushima package. Even if the last few days' repeated rescues of Luvia and others were beginning to make him wonder if he had been infected by some...heroic bug or something.
...And he really shouldn't have been worrying about other people in the first place when it was plain as day that the one in the most danger was, as always, himself! A Spore dropped from the sky the moment he stepped out of the Headquarters and he was back indoors before the thing even had the slightest chance to explode its toxic gas on him. Nope. He escaped back into the JPs headquarters, but knew that he had to get back out there now and start ******** with the Spores as a matter of pride. He wasn't going to let them get the better of him, even if he had to run through the town at a full sprint simply to show that he could. To Hell with Alioth's grudge, he was the one who had a grudge and he was going to MAKE that Septentrione pay the bill.
