Kuaxing... Anothe rthing with the dividing of teams, and why who is on waht team is also based around a couple of facts.
1. THere powers. spaceWe all have different powers and some powers are bettered suited as an Attack team than others. 2. Once you started teh guild YOU PICKED YOUR TEAM. And these team members make relationships and seems that that is the other factor. We arent broken from our RP buddies.
Hey Silas. You knwo you could take a back seat type of thing too. Say behind and RP. I could create a NPC or somthing if L would let me, so you would have some one to RP with while these intriquit plots are going on.

I really don't have teh energy to post this evening for the gold or red teams. I've been getting very little sleep so I need to go pass out right now until the baby wakes up.
Gold Team, if you're so inclined, we need to slow our persuit down some so feel free to get bogged down with evil henchmen.

It's sad that suggestions, or even criticisms, are looked down on. You're right, Derrik, I did choose my team. I have no problem with my team. I'm a big fan of everyone on it, so far. biggrin It was merely a suggestion that if we could all be in one place at relatively the same time (for more than a post), that everyone would have the chance to meet.
For instance: I'm in a ...very big team of people who, like our characters, seem to get into a few fights more often than other people do. Even though I'm on this team, I've met, and worked with/ hungout with people on a completely different side of the world because the school I went to forced us to interact. 3nodding *is loving the job right now*
I agree that a less offensively powered character should stay behind the lines. It's like mixing ground control with field agents, you just don't do it --so should I point out the ones who're the exception to that rule? The only team member of mine who has been "making a relationship" with me is (I really need to findout his userName) Erik, and I basically threw him into it. Everyone else my character has had a great deal of involvement with has been someone from another team because I'm the sort'f player who'll go after people to get along with (Hi, Sam). Even still (I just noticed), none of those people are members of New Mutants.
Mantanago eek ...yikes. I just wanted to say that it's because of the mods that I care so much. They've been very understanding of my situation (a few months ago), and have kept me up to date the entire time. Seeing their compassion for all of their players has driven me to feel the same way about the entire guild, and its members. I think we have a strong leadership team, and they're doing just what it takes to instill in us the virtues they hope we one day express.
LadyJedi, Ma'am, you know I'm a huge fan of yours, and I apologize if you feel disrespected. It wasn't my intention, and I suppose I should have kept my observation about the players ignoring each other to myself (and let Silas take the heat). I'm glad you've noticed my activity level has gone way up since I've been back from vacation. mrgreen I feel like it means you care. wink But, "when one man is down, we're all down." Only to say that if someone doesn't feel like he's a part of any team, it tends to (for instance ...now) cause a lot of turmoil between the members who do.
I was trying to get Silas to stay because (I guess) he's only been here for a short while, and hasn't gotten to see how awesome all of our members are. I think that if he gets a chance to RP with us all [especially you and Reaver ...and Derrik, actually, too because some of his posts bring me to tears ...and (sorry, don't know your userName either) Laura, because she's very active, and an outstanding writer as well], he'll be more inclined to understand how to keep up with the very intricate plotlines (I honestly don't know who comes up with them all since I've not been around for about four months, so no bias towards whomever there) and the ellaborate story.
Reaver, it's already worked on one, so I'll try it again. heart *glompsers little cuddly stoofs silly, then hugglez you with it all so you get more lovin'* heart That sucks about the house thing. I'd drown if I had to pay for a third of mine (without the assistance I'm already getting from work). I think the time restraint is horrible, and two days really isn't that bad. That's why I pointed out that I was gonna relax until you got back since I'm using you as protection from "the guy with the knives". I just thought it was strange that LadyJedi didn't know where we were supposed to be; like maybe she was forgotten.
Whatever you do, Reaver, you can't leave. Who else will save the guild when we all go crazy, and start dying. I mean, even four months ago, when I first joined the guild, you were a very important part of it, and I don't know if I'd be comfortable with you leaving me here alone with these people ...Not to say that I don't love you girls, but c'mon --the glompiness ( sweatdrop okay, that didn't actually work out the way I'd hoped, because you guys can't see the weird face I'm doing ...just think moron talking to a cat/ dog/ or baby --YEAH! That's the one). Seriously, man, don't go --if I offended you, I honestly didn't mean anything by it.
Silas, I'm so glad you decided to stay. Know that you always have my support and my appreciation. Losing you is still losing a member of the team (actually, yeah --you are on my team, aren't you?), and I just don't think that's good. Our RP is pretty fast sometimes, but you'll get the hang of it the more you visit. My trick: I only read the posts that are pertinent to my character at the moment. If it's Offense Team doing something while I'm on Distraction Team (and vice versa), I only read the post for my team (until we've caught up together --then I read them all). After I've responded, I go back and read what's going on with everyone else if I have time. Honestly, not knowing what's going on with a team in another building is fine with me, because it's OOC knowledge to use it. Now, I don't think there're any telepaths in our game, but if there are, I guess they'd be the only ones who could really use the information of a team they aren't with. Again, thanks for sticking around, and giving us all another chance; I hope ...I know you will not regret it.
My fingers are tired, and I have cat spraying me with her "big girl" juices. My fingers are tired from typing so much. In addition, I have a cat spraying me with her "big girl" juices and I need to take her to the vet --she just turned 7 mo. old. I think she's ready to express it. scream WHY ISN'T THERE A PUKING SMILEY!? I'm going to take a shower.
Edit: 00.25 -Just a quick thought; I was editing the post when I realized how gross that last paragraph seems to be. rofl I'd just like to reword it so ...*strikes a bit of it, then corrects everything*

Now...I havnt decided to leave...or stay yet. I just wanted to get it out there that some of the characters have been ignored, like mine. Sure, some of us might not be as active as other people are, but that doesnt mean that just because we post very little means we should be ignored. If you ignore us, then we come up with the idea that we arnt wanted and should leave. Am I getting my point across here clearly?
I only braught up the problem so it could be 'fixed', hopefuly. I undertsand that the mods have a life too and work a living. And that might slow things down a bit for the guild. But other members could atleast help too. Not everything has to be solved by the mods. Instead of RPing with a few other people, try getting to know someone else you dont know. You will bring them into the guild more and they wont feel ignored.

In between missions, we have generally been running plots that don't have set objectives (IE the dance, the Muir Island schooling) so that there is time to interact more. It's just that the current story involves missions. I'm kind in between a rock and a hard place with plots. If I run ones that don't have set objectives, I get complaints that things are boring because there is no overall goal aside frm character interaction. If I run missions, I get complaints that there is too much action. Can't win either way so I just run them and hope to mix them up enough.
As for characters being ignored, I'm not entirely positive on what to do about it. Those who are around more are naturally going to have more interaction with other people. I try to give everybody some kind of order and direction in the mission plots so nobody is left out.
I guess it would be better for me to understand: how are people being ignored? Are your posts just being over looked? Did a character go up and speak to somebody and the other player didn't respond? Etc.
Side note: The only reason I wasn't sure about Rosealine's post is because I didn't know what Reaver had planned for the Red Team on their way to the Inner Circle. smile I know the ends but not the means.

Now...on to other issues. There is this guy at school. I like him...a lot! We are sort of friends, but we dont talk together much. And tomorrow, the 20, I am going to tell him that I like him and such. But I dont know how. Help me?

Second, Silas, glad your not leaving.
Third, I have no idea what men like (even though I am one) Yours seems to be a different situation.

Just tell him you like him. In those words 'I like you'. That seems to work fairly well. Don't try and be clever Silas-chan, men are stupid. Well, as a majority, not ALL of them are.
