> xxxxx'Okayuki...' Julie thought to herself with a curious tilt of her head. It was a peculiar name, unique to anything she had ever known to be a name. When he asked about her own, the young brunette smiled with a small blush and lowered her eyes into her coffee up. "M.. My name is Juliana Gunther." Her brow had lifted when he had mentioned being new to town, and she wondered how he had landed management so quickly. But she also didn't feel as though it was much of her business. 'At least he has a job, toots.' Her inner voice was a bitter muse that brought a slight crease to her forehead, before her gaze once more found Okayuki.
> xxxxx"Oh! No! You aren't intruding," she said quickly, and offered an apologetic smile. "I haven't really met too many people since I got here either." A soft blush feathered across Julie's nose as she cast her eyes to the window beside her. Nevermind that she hadn't exactly given herself too many opportunities to get out and meet people. She had been more of a homebody than ever, since she'd moved to Soliel. "I... I wouldn't insult you if I kept eating, would I..?" She fought against the instinct to bite her bottom lip, though she felt it still twitch as though it expected the action. Her hand moved to her fork, and then paused before she picked it up and carved a bite for her to take. She had come here for a dessert and coffee, after all.

σσ¢: ▶ Nodding thoughtfully, Elin watched as Benjamin got up and went to go stand in line for their orders. He wasn't super picky in what drinks and foods he got, he usually just ate whatever was given to him with no questioned asked, but lemon did sound good, so did the muffin in all honesty. He didn't get the chance to eat, so he was very grateful towards Benjamin. He was willing to waste his time with Elin, to which came as a slight surprised. Benjamin looked and acted like a person who never has time for others, is all work and no play.
▶ When Benjamin came back with their orders, Elin gratefully took the cup and muffin with a smile, Thank you, how much do I owe you? Elin asked as he brought the cup to his lips. He immediately smelled the lemon, and upon a small sip, he tasted the tart fruit, he also felt the intense heat from the tea, but he simply switched his nerves to his tongue, making sure to keep the taste buds active. He hummed softly as he felt the warmth of the liquid race down to his stomach, Ah Benjamin you made a great choice in the tea.

The sales associate was about to peel off the wrapper off his muffin when he was questioned on how much Elin was owing him, and Ben was picking a piece off the baked good before responding. "Ah, no need to worry, Elin. Consider this as my welcoming treat during your time in Soleil. And I wanted to make sure that you will feel welcomed as soon as possible," that was his response; he had not been given any welcome from his biological family after his real mother died, and it was only through his adoptive parents that he received what was like to be with a real family. The past couldn't be changed but at least his present wasn't so bad. At the commentary about the choice of tea, Ben let out a chuckle, "Thanks. If that helps, I do have other selection of teas that I know about, but that may wait till later."
After munching on the half of the muffin, Benjamin was looking through his phone for something interesting, and he chanced upon the upcoming event talking place in the forest in the other island. His sky blue eyes twinkled; it may be a once-in-a-blue-moon moment and it would be a shame to miss it. "Say, this is an interesting venue. Does that tickle your fancy, too? It may just happen occasionally," he commented while showing the advertisement to his manager via the device.

Though before she asked, her character had thrown a party bomb which caused the others to dance around her. Which she didn't get the giggle out of that she wanted because she was now distracted at what jack had said. "I like watching those sometimes.. especially the ones of people drawing, I wish I could draw.." was the next reply as she sort of drooped in her chair. Though she turned back to LaLa rubbing one of her ears as she spoke, "That doesn't sound too overpowered! Unless I'm missing something.. maybe other people hit them while they're frozen I guess or something's? But a tiny bit of damage every second seems a bit lack luster." she eats one of her cookies after speaking. Almost cutting her own sentence off by doing so.

  Summer looked up at Leon and smiled softly before she guiltily looked at the table. "Sorry about that again." She said a bit sheepishly before she shook her head when he offered to drive her in his car. "No, no. I usually prefer to take my bike everywhere.. It's just I was late and the rain is a bit troublesome." She said as she picked up her cup of coffee and took a sip before glancing at him again and tilting her head. "From home? That sounds like an awesome job." She chuckled softly. Not that she disliked her job, she loved dancing plus the tips were great.
"My morning. It's been pretty good." She said before cocking her head to the side a little. "Ah. I could probably never write a book. My imagination isn't good enough." She chuckled softly before looking curious. "Well I haven't read your books... yet, so I really can't offer much of an opinion on that one." She chuckled softly when he mentioned needing to decide if he killed off a character or not. Picking up a fork, Summer then cut off a small bit of her cheesecake and ate it.

Jack Reed  "Yeah, she streams herself playin' video games." Answered Jack, chuckling when Sidevi had thrown the party bomb, causing his character to dance. "Yeah... I don't really watch many streams myself. There are a couple I like, though. There's a guy who fixes up and tricks out old cars, and another who collects and reviews guns."
Jack took a sip of his coffee... He noticed that a troll was attacking Lala's character - so he used one of his special moves - sprinting towards the monster from across the room and slashing it with his axe. They exchanged blows for a while... and finally, Jack managed to score a critical hit, slaying the troll. "Yeaahh!" he exclaimed. On the screen, his character could be seen taking a swig from his hip-flask, healing a bit of HP.Leon Hawke  "Yeah, I love riding my bike everywhere too... but the weather hasn't been so great lately." said Leon with a chuckle. He then sipped his own coffee, nodding his head. "Yes, I can work from home, or the library, or here at Moonbucks. My office is wherever I bring my laptop. Definitely one of the perks of being an author!" He then took another sip of his coffee... "So, you mentioned that you were a dancer? Do you like it, or do you plan on doing something else eventually?" he asked, feeling curious about her. "You know, I'd love to watch you dance sometime..."
Leon was glad to hear that Summer was having a good morning. "Yes, well writing isn't for everyone. We all have our own strenghths and talents, it's just a matter of finding out how to best use them." When she mentioned that she hadn't read his books, a smile crossed his face. "Would you like to read my books?" he offered kindly "I happen to have an extra copy of my first book out in my car - I'll give it to you if you want it. It's a modern fantasy, a supernatural thriller with plenty of romance and horror elements... Does it sound like something you'd be interested in?"

Koharu tilted his head at her name, wrapping his mouth around it carefully. "Juu-ri-a-na Gan-taa... Yes?" he asked, smiling minutely. "In Japan, when we first meet someone, we say Hajimemashite.. it means, in English, 'happened for the first time'. Does this interest you?" he asked, his dark eyes twinkling curiously. He had never met someone who seemed interested in him before, so he wanted to see just how much she would want to learn.
When she asked about eating, he quickly waved his hands in front of his body. "No, no! Douzo, douzo," he said, smiling a bit sheepishly. "Please, eat. I should not have bothered you so rudely. Ano... If you would like to talk more, perhaps we can meet when I am not working? For instance, tomorrow I am free.." His fingers interlaced on the tabletop, and he studied Julie's face carefully. "If you are not busy..?"

> xxxxxThere was a tiny giggle that eased its way out of Julie's throat when he tried to say her name, and she was thankful to the small piece of cheesecake in her mouth to help her stifle it. Once he told her the proper thing to say when meeting someone in his country, she listened to the sounds carefully. Her lips weren't very good at forming the shapes, though. She could hear how badly she butchered his language and winced, when she tried to repeat what he had said. "Ha-gee-may... ma-shee-tay..?" Once it was out her stifled laugh went full blown and she buried her face in her hands while her ears turned pink.
> xxxxx'Tomorrow..?' Julie thought as she peered back out from behind her hands and looked at Okayuki curiously. She wasn't all too sure why he would be interested in hanging out with her. 'He doesn't exactly know anyone,' she reminded herself. 'And neither do you.' Sure she had met that one girl yesterday, but it hadn't been an intimate fellowship in her opinion. What was she to lose saying yes?

She really hated needles, blood, and especially the two of them together and having anything to do with her. But she had told herself that she had always wanted to donate, and that if she was ever going to do it then she needed to just do it. "M... Maybe... we could... m-meet up... there...?" With each word that left her mouth, Julie felt her blush deepen. It wasn't as though she was asking him out on a date. But it was as close as she had ever gotten.

Lala cautiously admitted as she took the last drink of her coffee, downing the entire thing and placing the up back down. She stood and moved from the table, grabbing her phone and placing it into her pocket, and her mask being placed back onto her face, Yeah well, you'll most likely get flamed by my watchers if you did! Lala joked as she turned towards Sidevi, So you do want to come over?

Jack Reed "You've gotta have one of the best jobs in the world, shug!" said Jack with a chuckle. He wasn't much of a gamer, but he could imagine how amazing it must be to play games professionally... to be able to work and make a living without even leaving the house or getting dressed for that matter. He finished the last bite of his pie... He wasn't in such a hurry to finish his coffee, however. It came in a paper cup with a lid, and he could easily take it with him and sip it on the way back to Lala's house.
Jack then slipped his own phone back into his pocket... "If either or both of you ladies need a ride, you're welcome to ride with me." he offered kindly, smiling at Lala and Sidevi. Today wasn't the greatest day to be walking, after all...

Though she couldn't really help but ask, "Didn't figure you'd be fine with someone you JUST met coming over and everything." Her curiosity drove her to know the reason why to such a thing, not that it mattered a heck of a lot. Just enough to gather interest. She then turns to jack to answer, "I'd be okay with that! My tail is sort of annoying when it's wet.. like wet hair but worse." She half-joked, it really was a bother having a wet tail as one could imagine. She closes her laptop and slips it back into her satchel that she had brought with her. turning back to lala, awaiting a response from her.

Rina certainly has been coming over to Moonbucks more often nowadays. The WiFi connection here is good, so is the food, and it's always nice and not too busy! She's not sure why but she's been enjoying getting out of the house and drawing or doing whatever she's feeling like. It'd be a good start to get over her slight fear over gatherings and this feeling of paranoia she has about meeting new people. Yes, her more recent encounters have typically consisted of meeting nice people but not being able to hold a conversation and meeting not-so-good people who she speaks more with but end up being bad in the end. But she has to remember that not everyone is bad, that's for sure!
Rina bought herself two cupcakes, while she certainly would love to go for a donut right now, these would certainly do! What if she tried her hand at making donuts? That would be really fun! She hasn't baked all that much in a while, maybe that's what's making her feel so stressed out lately! Well, she can always do that later! For right now, she was munching on her classic vanilla cupcakes and started sketching in her notebook, something that's she been doing more often. Practice makes perfect and she likes to think that she's been getting a lot better with her drawing skills. It mostly consisted of a bunch of restaurant designs, some of which had big 'X's and scribble marks through them, while others had hearts or small doodles of tiny faces or something else that was cutesy. However, while she was sketching, she accidentally knocked the soft pastels she was using to the ground, which caused her to whine when she saw that one of them cracked. At least it was the brown one that broke, it just sucks that the colors are gonna get everywhere while she picks them up!
