Though a little surprised at first that Jaden was cleaning her fur, Sibyl allowed him to do so if he so pleased. She figured he'd perhaps not want to lick up blood that Soulvar had shed but so long as it didn't remind him and bring him back to the subway memories she was at ease with him cleaning her matted fur. She hated to see him sad more than a lot of things she hated so she was just hoping to protect him and keep him happy. Jaden had been through so much that he didn't need all of this to continue.
~And you're a decent male when you are not sad or upset.~
Upon him mentioning that he felt as though he knew her from somewhere before, Sibyl became a little surprised. Did she meet Jaden in the past? Perhaps she had and she'd been reincarnated? She had no idea but it was definitely possible, it was how her pack lived on so to say though she wasn't necessarily a wolf in her previous life. This was, of course the belief system of Sibyl's pack. That their bodies became part of the earth while their souls and spirits were like seeds and were replanted, waiting to grow and be reborn again. Souls and spirits were separate things as far as her pack believed. The soul was the life force of something and was intertwined with the experiences one went through as well as the shaping of the shell where as the spirit was the personality and the will to live, everything that made one unique. A soul was impressionable while the personality was predetermined.
~Perhaps you met me long ago and I've been reincarnated in this form. You've lived very long and I've been alive for such a short time so it's quite possible.~
The wolf exhaled in a relaxing matter and gently nuzzled the childish Jaden back. It was clear that this child had been through much to become the hardened wolf that he was now and that made Sibyl's heart ache for him. No child deserved to feel as unsafe as he'd felt, wolves were supposed to protect their young not frighten them. The human in her was sympathetic for him and felt bad for him while both the wolf and human wished to protect him and keep him safe from his future being as dark as his past. Both wanted the wolf to be safe and happy, to not have to suffer anymore than he already had and both were willing to kill if only to give him a moment of serenity.

((Oh and Lao has asked me to take over KatsuMomo seeing as he's in a whole lot of trouble... it's a temperary thing))
Duke had flown in after them and settled down next the sleeping KatsuMomo. He was actually surprised that the young lycan was still sleeping but after a closer inspection he realized that KatsuMomo had been out and about and had just recently returned and fallen back to sleep.
Duke blinked his eyes shut (sleeping) and it seemed as if only a moment had passed when Razu contacted him and Steffon. As Razu began telling them his message Duke began to get overly concerned. This was starting to sound like a will. When Razu finished Duke realized that it was a will and as Razu finished his job Duke screeched out,"NOOOOO!" He flapped frantically to the door in a panic, "Razu! RAZU!"
At the same time KatsuMomo woke-up screaming which he quickly cut off. He shuddered,"What a nightmare. There's no way my father could die. He's too hard to kill..."

The screeching of the eagle meant nothing to Sibyl though she knew that it was something that couldn't be good and that was when her instincts told her that something was horribly wrong. A moment later and a strange lycan that she'd never seen before though he bore resemblance to Razu in more than one way awoke and claimed something about his father. Sibyl was almost certain that something had happened to Razu and therefore that was the eagle's reason for freaking out.
Within an instant she was in her human form, clothed and she was at the door where the bird lingered, continuing to squawk. "What's happened to Razu ... ?" Had she been a wolf it was clear that she would have been whimpering and that was when she remembered that she would have to assume her natural form in order to properly communicate with the panicked bird. Another instant and she was a wolf again and repeated her question to the bird, this time speaking to him by projecting her thoughts. ~What's happened to Razu ... ?~

Seconds after Sibyl asked they could feel a small tremor thorugh the ground. Duke looked around wildely,"That! That's what Happened! This is what happened!" Before the trio his form began to change into that of a human. He looked at a long slender hand with dread," He's dead! Razu's dead!"
KatsuMomo jumped up,"You crazy bird! You lie!"
Duke snarled,"I do not lie! Why else would I be human? That was the.." He faded off looking stricken,"I saw him press the button! He told me! I can't believe he lied to me...us! He LIED! I thought he was fine when I left him but he wasn't!"
"My father's...dead? But I just found him!" KatsuMomo howled yanking the red head close to him,"Where the HELL were you last?"

(( dear god can this place get any less dramatic? ))
Jaden whimpered and cowered into the couch. He was not particularly upset over the news, but the distress was coming from the confrontations in the room. Confrontation ment horrible, horrible things to him, memories of a father abusing a mother, memories of a brother fighting a brother, memories of assassins hunting a lover. The mere energy of it was like a horrible electricy that shot through his spine and pulled at his soul. "NOOOO!!!" he screamed in pain, his voice being amplified by something within him. "Stop it!!"

|| I could make Sibyl ... lay on her a** and not do anything for days. That less dramatic enough for you?? XD ||
The wolf heaved a very large sigh because while she wasn't the Beta of the pack any longer she still felt as if she'd played a role in Razu's death. She still as if it was still her responsibility to look after and assure the pack's safety though not as their Beta but simply as a member of their pack now. If only she'd lingered and insisted that Razu had come with them, then he wouldn't be dead and this time, unlike Ceon's death, she was certain Razu would not be returning from the supposed dead.
"It's not the eagle's fault your father's dead, lycan. We were all in the subway with him. He healed my wounds and then we meant to meet up with him here and he never held true to that plan. Let go of your father's friend. He would be upset with you if you harmed him. And to honour his memory as well as help a fellow wolf in need, we're going to assure we find Steffon." She'd known that Razu had been lying about feeling alright but human emotions also weren't her forte and she'd never comprehended that his sadness might perhaps lead him to the suicide they now happened to have upon them.
She reverted to human form and went to sit beside Jaden again. Her hair in human form now matted and half of her body covered in dried blood as opposed to her fur. She hugged the screaming child awkwardly, clearly not accustomed to the human action and gently rubbed his back as she attempted to calm him down as a mother would, not that she'd ever had the example of a mother to follow. "Shh. It's alright ... They'll stop they're just surprised and trying to figure out what happened, little one."

Momo disgustedly let go of Duke," You owe me an explaination bird and we'll do it away from the child alpha." He yanked the door open and paused," I blame the bird not you. He's suppose to be my fathers companion. C'mon bird. Time to do some 'splaining. "
Duke looked around,"It's not your fault Sibyl. I promise you that its all my fault. And Steffons." He followed the angry son. "Momo...I'm sorry."
Momo snarled,"Take me to the place. NOW."
"Yes. I shall do so. Sibyl...please inform me of the real Jaden's return. Razu had a message he wanted Jaden to know. An important one." He exited with Momo.

Though Sibyl had absolutely no way of contacting Duke whatsoever if he left her range of vision she nodded. She couldn't understand how Razu's message could possibly matter now that he was dead but she shrugged it off and decided to gently yet improperly smile to the young version of Jaden. Her teeth were bared though she didn't look like she was smiling, just holding her teeth and slightly upturning the corners of her lips. "It's alright now ... they're going to leave you in peace ..."

Jaden whimpered and curled up beneath his coat. He was aware that something horrible had happened but was too caught up within his own internal suffering to take notice at the moment. The point of things was that the negative energy had stopped around him. "...I'm tired..." he muttered sleepily to Sibyl, his recoup period starting. "Are you going to sleep with me?"

Sibyl couldn't help but be awed and saddened by the innocence that'd once been Jaden as a cub. She couldn't believe a child with such promise had virtually been cast aside and forced to fend for himself. It was horrible, wolves were not supposed to be like humans and toss their young aside, they were supposed to teach them to survive and nurture them until the cub so chose to leave the pack in search of their own pack or remain with their pack. It was sad to see that Jaden had clearly been through things that'd forever changed him and were more than likely irreversible, after all, he was centuries old from what he'd told her if not milleniums.
"If you are tired," she said softly to him, "then sleep." However, when asked if she was going to sleep with him she thought for a moment and then responded, "Alright as long as you sleep, little one. Are you wanting me to tell you any stories before you sleep or are you too tired to stay awake for such stories?" She smirked, her smirk actually looking like a smirk as opposed to her smile and she gently wandered into her back pack which seemed to materialize out of no where and pulled out a dream catcher. "This will," Sibyl said as she decided to set it beside the younger version of Jaden, "trap your bad dreams within its net so that you may only dream of pleasant things."
While some wolves might have exploited and taken advantage of their leader's crystal clear vulnerabilities, Sibyl had no such thoughts on her mind. If anything she'd grown more protective of her leader and had become more loyal to him. She was trying her hardest to assure he was protected and that nohting happened to him. Loyal to the point it could be considered a weakness or fault, never seeking anything of material value and never pushing others out of her way to better herself in the pack hierarchy, that was Sibyl. Content with what she was, who she was and a loyal, devoted pack member where ever her leader would have her.

Jaden cuddled into the couch and purred gently since the tension in the room had vanished. Reaching out he stroked the edge of the dreamcatcher with the back of one of his claws. "I wouldn't like a story." he muttered. "I just want someone to be with me right now... I don't want to be alone." His red eyes seemed to be crying again, but just as before there were no tears.

The woman's form beside Jaden slowly melted into that of a wolf, her true form so that there was no transitioning from human to wolf if she happened to fall asleep. The wolf slowly cuddled up beside the adult body that held that was functioning at the level of a young cub still learning about the world and everything within it, innocent, unsuspecting. She was perfectly fine with just lying there, she'd already done it twice before with Jaden though the wolf had actually requested she keep him company and not the cub.
However, when the man with the small cub's mind began to silently and tearlessly cry she instinctively knew that he was attempting to cry. The wolf gently laid beside him and began licking underneath his eyes where the tears would have been had the wolf and cub not cried them out of existence years before Sibyl had even been born.
~Stop being sad. The past's the past. You cannot change it no matter how much you dwell on it and it will only bring you pain if you dwell on the sad parts.~

Jaden reached out and wrapped his arms around the wolfs neck, trying to calm himself down. "There are so much sad things though." he muttered into the fur. "It hurts." As he continued to sniffle and cuddled with Sibyl and steadily he heartbeat slowed down until it was roughly that of a relaxed person. With all of the sudden energy he now had gotten off of his chest his body was giving out and he was asleep in no time.

Sibyl was relieved that the cub decided to fall asleep for asleep he would not hurt as much as he did while awake and her dream catcher would ensnare any bad dreams from visiting him. He needed rest above all other things in order to help his mind recover from the events of the day or night. However, seeing as there was nothing else to really do since she was stuck lying within the grasp of Jaden's arms, Sibyl soon ended up joining Jaden in sleep and gently rested her head against one of his arms.
---------
The wolf's lavender eyes slowly opened. She didn't know how long she'd been asleep but at the moment Jaden still seemed to be asleep beside her with his arms still wrapped around her neck. Seeing as she was in a tiny bit of a choke hold she simply decided to lay there patiently and wait for Jaden to wake up. She had no idea how long it would be but she was patient enough and she was certain she could do it so long as she didn't have to go to the bathroom.

Jadens sleep cycle only lasted an hour and a half. It was a horrible habit that he had developed over the decades. It was hardly relevant, lack of sleep seemed to have little to no effect on his body. Unwrapping his arms from Sibyl he sat up and ran his claws through his long hair, getting it out of his eyes which were now sharper and colder, a definite shift having occured. "Any word on Razu's body?" he asked calmly, not with a definite detachment but a purpose.
