"... heh."
What? Even Thorn, lacking a sense of humor, could appreciate a giant Draco Meteor of Justice. He was relaxing back against rock, Selkie playing in the warm waters with the playful Buizel. Okay, he supposed this was kind of nice... and Rosie seemed happy, so that was good.

Somewhere in the distance, a scream rang out. Then another. Then several more. Cody popped his head up from the hot spring and waded over to his backpack, pulling out a small pair of binoculars. Holding them up to his face, he squinted a bit 'til the view came into focus. A giant herd of wild pokemon were stampeding through the area, heading right for the hot springs where the team was. "Everyone, let's pull together! We've got a herd of stampeding pokemon heading our way. The noise from the Draco Meteor must've startled and attracted some of the local pokemon, and they're heading right for us!" the boy called, rallying his team together to stop the threat.
Help herd the pokemon and get them away from the hot spring by any means necessary. Fight at least two, catch one if you want.

Several minutes later, Dimitri regained consciousness and hopped to his feet, taking out two pokeballs that belonged to two of his released pokemon. Shortly after, Dimitri pointed the two pokeballs at his Growlithe and his Poochyena, a red beam of light engulfed them to return them to their respective pokeballs. His Wailmer and his Tropius remained on the battlefield to defend their trainer as a Wild Numel along with a Wild Machop walked up to them. "Go Wailmer! Use Surf to finish that Numel off quickly!" Following his trainers command, Wailmer used surf to summon a huge wave to strike every pokemon around it, dealing a devastating amount of damage to the Wild Numel to finish it off with a one hit K/O while dealing a neutral amount of damage to both the Wild Machop and Dimitri's Tropius. "Now it's your turn Tropius! Use fly to weaken that Machop!" Following his trainers command, Tropius used fly to dive into the air. Following this, The wild Machop used thunder punch to punch Wailmer with an electricity charged fist, inducing paralysis along with dealing two times the amount of damage. Wailmer let out a painful cry and succumbed to the paralysis, making it unable to move. Eventually, Tropius demonstrated the second part to his fly attack and dove down before striking the wild Machop from above, dealing enough damage to bring it into a near faint state due to the attack dealing double the amount of damage, enough damage to weaken it. Afterward, Dimitri took out a pokeball and tossed it at the wild Machop, the pokeball lightly hit it's forehead before it pulled the pokemon into it. At last, the pokeball began to move side to side for a couple of minutes before it made a "DING!" sound, indicating that the capture of the wild pokemon was successful. Finally, Dimitri walked up to the pokeball that the wild pokemon was entrapped within and picked it up.

Cody hopped out of the hot springs quickly, the cold air chilling his wet body to the bone. He grabbed his pack once again and reached inside, pulling out a coat and shoving his arms through. "Much better," he said to himself. He called upon his pokemon and took off running toward the stampede. "Sparks, Poochy! Let's wrangle these pokemon up. Sparks, lead the group, Poochy, guide from behind!" the boy commanded to his pokemon, telling Axew to Dragonbreath the herd from behind to push them in the right direction. Cody looked to his team, shouting to them. "Everyone, we're gonna need your help!" Just then, Poochy went flying through the air. Cody ran to catch her, falling to the ground as she fell into his arms. "Are you alright?" the trainer asked his pokemon, hugging her tight before letting her go. As he looked up, a rogue Machop stood before them, looking to fight the Poochyena. "Looks like you're up," Cody said as Poochy ran in front of him. He was nervous due to the type difference, but he didn't let it show for Poochy's sake. On top of that, she was already hurt. She'd have to be on top of her game to win this one. "Poochy, Shadow Ball!" her trainer called. The pup nodded and summoned up a blast of dark energy, hitting Machop hard. The Fighting type growled and threw itself at Poochyena, coming close to contacting with a Cross Chop. Poochy swiftly dodged and burrowed underground, confusing the Machop. The pokemon readied itself, but Poochy came up from behind, hitting it hard, and sending it to the ground, K.O.'d.
Cody returned his pokemon, looking back to see how his team was handling the hoard. Just then, a Marill hopped out of the bushes and attacked the the trainer with a blast of water, soaking through his jacket. "Damn it!" the boy cursed, calling upon Axew to stop what he was doing and help. The baby dragon launched at Marill with his claws glowing in a blue flame and slashed the water type across the face with a strong Dragon Claw. The tiny pokemon rolled backward and landed on its feet, releasing a thick stream of bubbles from its mouth, all of which exploded as they made contact with Axew's body. Axew got into a fighting stance, channeling his energy, then launched at Marill again, hitting it twice with dragonic chops. "Good move, Axew!" Cody praised, waiting for Marill to strike again. The water type retaliated by rolling into a ball and hurling itself at the dragon pokemon, hitting it lightly the first time, but Axew wasn't going to let it happen again. The pokemon summoned a blue and gold meteor from the sky, crashing it down on top of Marill's body, K.O.ing the little mouse. Cody went to grab Axew's ball, but hesitated as his pokemon started to glow. The light grew stronger, blinding the trainer as the pokemon started to morph and transform. The light died down slowly as the transformation came to an end, and as the light faded, a Fraxure stood where Cody's baby Axew once was. The boy ran up and hugged his partner. The feeling of having his baby growing up was overwhelming but exciting. "Alright, Faxure," Cody started. "Let's go round up these pokemon."

Rosie immediately opened her eyes after hearing the commotion. Maddy sounded angry and then chaos emerged. She told her Axew to use an attack on one of the males and then he went running. However he didn't manage to succeed and was crushed by it. Ouch. A reminder never to get on Maddy's bad side. Rosie winced and a little afraid. However before anything else could happen, another male (Cody) yelled about wild pokemon going on a rampage because of the attack. Everyone had to hurry. Rosie stood up and motioned towards her pokemon to join her. As they left the hot spring, two pokemon emerged nearby. A Marill and a Numel charged and then skidded to a halt in front of Rosie and her pokemon. The Marill had a very serious expression on her face and the Numel...well it permanently had a dopey expression. Kei the Buizel and Lily the Emolga stepped forward.
The Numel stepped forward, looking pretty happy. It swayed from side to side before a small burst of smoke came from him. Kei and Lily exchanged a look before the Buizel stepped forward. He was feeling all healed up and refreshed after his dip in the spring. Before he could blink, the Numel charged into him from the side with a Body Slam! The Buizel tensed but then was thrown to the side, hitting the ground with a thump. Irrirtated at getting caught off guard, he rose shakily. The Numel let loose a Growl. Kei let loose a Sonic Boom attack, ready to pay back any pain double that his opponent had caused. Watching as the waves knocked the pokemon backwards, he darted forward on all fours quickly. The water weasel was at the Numel's side quickly enough. The pokemon used an Ember attack but Kei countered with Aqua Tail! The fire and water hit causing a large cloud of smoke. When the smoke cleared, the Numel was unconscious on the ground.
Meanwhile his partner, the female Marill raced forward angrily. She was upset that he had been harmed. He loved playing, not battling. Everything was a game to him! However she took things on a much more serious outlook on life. Things weren't all rainbows and roses after all. The Marill charged and Lily jumped into the battle as Kei jumped backwards and out of this one. She let loose an Air Slash, trying to get the Marill's attention. It worked! The blue mouse let loose a bubble attack, trying to slam the electric flying squirrel out of the sky. It managed to hit but didn't do extensive damage. Instead Lily decided to try and take a risk. Using Quick Attack, she darted back and forth trying to get close. As she got close, the Marill tried countering with Water Gun! The water spray was strong but Lily managed to cling onto the other pokemon's tail. Keeping her tight grip, she let loose of some electricity, ready to use Thunder Shock. A close range attack from the electric type was deadly. The Marill fell to the ground unable to move. Two pokemon down. Feeling a little tired of battles from today, Lily flew wearily to rest against Rosie's shoulder. The young blonde girl cradled the Emolga gently in her arms while returning Kei to his pokeball. In the meantime, Vale was at Rosie's heels, ready to charge at any pokemon that would be stupid enough to try to take them on. Rosie's golden gaze scanned the crowd, watching to see how all the other battles were doing from the rest of Team Aqua and it's members.

Reaper watched as Cody pulled out his binoculars and found a herd of stampeding Pokemon coming into the town and told them to stop them. "This will be good." He said and hopped off the cliff end of the hot spring, landing on the ground and making his way to the herd of Pokemon. Luckily his team was restored to full health by the hot springs so all Pokemon were ready for battle. First up was a wild Machop. Reaper sent out his Starly to start things off.
~Battle Start~
"Alright Starly, let's start things off with Aerial Ace! Let's go!" Reaper shouted as Starly flew high up and began to descend quickly and turned at the last second to gain a huge amount of speed and flew by and attacked the Wild Machop, inflicting moderate damage. The Wild Machop then went in and slammed his fist into the cliff to cause a Rock Slide, which Starly was struck by and being hurt badly, but still ready to fight. "Starly, Brave Bird attack now!" Reaper shouted as Starly repeated the same process as if it was for Aerial Ace again, but this time, soaring higher into the sky to gain more speed upon descent, and the minute it made it's turn at the last second, it looked as if Starly was a living meteor and rammed into the foe Machop, striking harder than usual, a critical hit, fainted the Wild Machop, but there is no room to celebrate, there was more Pokemon to deal with. Reaper then went over to a wild Marill to battle it with Starly.
"Alright Starly, regain your health by using Roost!" Reaper said as Starly landed on the ground and rested his body, making himself feel more energized. The Wild Marill began drumming on his own stomach, damaging itself but gaining a lot of Attack in the process. "Starly, attack with Mud slap." He called out as Starly flew over to the Wild Marill and used his wing to slap mud into the face of it, slightly hurting it, and causing Wild Marill to sight slightly. Wild Marill retaliated with an Ice Punch, and luckily for Marill, had struck the foe, fainting the poor little Starly. "that's alright Starly, you did great! Rest up buddy." He said and returned Starly to it's Pokeball to rest and sent out Poochyena. Wild Marill then tried to use Focus punch, charging energy and focusing it's mind for the attack. "Poochyena, finish off Marill with Poison Fang!" He directed as Poochyena's fangs began to glow a faint purple and bit the Wild Marill, fainting it successfully. "Alright, next battle. We're gonna make up for the time we've been gone and beat a little extra this time." He said and the two went to a Wild Spoink and began their third battle.
"Poochyena quick Sucker Punch!" Reaper shouted quickly as Poochyena darted at the Wild Spoink and turned around and kicked it in the face, causing severe damage to the little Spoink. The Wild Spoink sprung back up and attacked by shooting a Charge Beam attack and striking at Poochyena, inflicting heavy damage. "Poochyena, you can do it, strike again with another Sucker Punch!" He said as Poochyena focused and charged at Spoink and once again, kicking it, sending it flying into a tree and fainting it successfully. "Keep it up Poochyena, 2 more to go!" He said as the two walked over to a few Slugma and picked one out to battle.
"Poochyena, let's keep up the progress and attack with Dig!" Reaper shouted as Poochyena began digging a hole beneath him and will soon come back up. Wild slugma tried to attack Poochyena by spewing out flames from it;s mouth in a Flamethrower attack, but missing due to Poochyena being underground. Poochyena the came back up from under Slugma and lifting it into the air, causing moderate damage, but due to coming into contact with Slugma, suffering a Burn. Slugma retaliated with Earth Power, causing eruptions in the ground beneath Poochyena, fainting the little dog Pokemon. "You did very well Poochyena, rest up my loyal hound." He said as he returned Poochyena and reached out for his final Pokemon Corphish. "Corphish, avenge our fallen comrade and attack with Surf!" He said as Corphish got in a hot spring and rose the water up and crashed down on Slugma and after the water was dispersed, it revealed a fainted Slugma lying on the ground. "Haha nice job Corphish, just one more battle!" He said as the two encountered a Numel.
"Corphish, Aqua Jet attack now!" Reaper commanded as Corphish mixed with the Hot Spring water and darted at the Numel and striking hard, causing horrendous damage to the poor Numb Pokemon. The Wild Numel countered by stomping on the ground causing an Earthquake to emerge and causing Corphish to fall into some trees and rocks, inflicting moderate damage. Numel attacked once again though with a Mud Slap attack by slapping some mud into Corphish's face, lowering the amount of sight he had and inflicting minor damage. "Corphish, attack with Crabhammer!" He shouted as Corphish's pincer glowed brightly and attempted to strike Numel but missed and hit a tree and knocking it down. "Quick Corphish, use Aqua Jet to finish it off!" He said as Corphish cloaked itself in a veil of hot spring water and charged into Numel, successfully striking the Pokemon, causing enough damage to faint the Numel. Reaper sighed of relief, thinking he might have lost had Aqua Jet not hit the Numel. After a while, all the Pokemon Reaper defeated rose up and he sent them back into where they came from and then went back and met up with the rest of the team.
~Battle end~

Well, so much for relaxing. Thorn's green eyes snapped wide open as he heard Cody call out for the rest of Aqua. Mildly perturbed, he pushed himself out of the water, scrambling to his feet with Selkie under one arm. What where they going to deal with now?
A Slugma burbled in from of hin, the lava slug staring with wide yellow eyes. With a sigh, he hefted Selkie up. "Let's go, then. Tackle."
The Feebas only just noticed the slightly mad look in the normally-stoic boy's eyes, and flailed with her weak brown fins. However, it was no use; Thorn chucked the fish right at the fire slug, as if trying to help propel the Tackle. And to be fair, she did land the hit, bouncing off the Slugma... unfortunately, it also meant she was close enough for the fire-type to hit her right on with an Ember. And it managed to burn her, draining both her attack and her health.
Thorn frowned; that had been stupid. Still, he could salvage this battle by using her weakened state. "Brine!"
Though somewhat befuddled and irate, Selkie obey, sending a blast of cold salt water right into the Slugma's face. it was enough to almost literally wash him down the hill. Even if he could get up, there was no coming back from that! Pleased with herself, Selkie glared back up at her trainer, as if to show off how she'd won despite him.
The red-head gave another sigh, ruffling his slightly wet hair. "Sorry, sorry. That was thoughtless, but you did brilliantly. Let's give you a rest." He recalled the Feebas back to her Pokeball. No sooner had he done that then another Pokemon bounded up to him... literally, in this case. A strangely happy bouncing Spoink rushed toward him, laughing with every bounce.
Well, another weird battle. How odd, but he'd learned to just accept it. Thorn called out Venus in a blast of white light.
The Mawile spun in place, pleased to be back in the limelight. But her dance was quickly interrupted by a sudden Rock Gem to the face. She was knocked back, but not completely so, and lunged forward under Thorn's command of "Ice Fang!". She dug down deep and released her opponent, grinning smugly.
The Spoink shook himself off, still bouncing. He retailated with a powerful Extrasensory that knocked the Mawile right off her feet in a blast of colored light!
"Ice Fang, once more!"
Trusting her trainer, Venus stumbled back to her feet and gave another powerful bite with her cold jaws... this one freezing the pig right to the bone. She smirked, ready to finish it off...
... and a Pokeball arced over her head, yanking the immobilized Pokemon in. Three shakes later, and the Spoink was caught.
Pouting, the Mawile grumbled at her trainer, very put out. She wanted to crush the thing like a bug!
But Thorn has more interested plans for the Pokemon. He picked up the ball (not before giving Venus a pat on the horn), and went to join the others.

Cody noticed the pokemon all seeming to settle down as the battles drew to a close. "Alright, everyone," he called to his team. "Let's head back home. Rewards will be posted shortly." And with that, he and his pokemon took off toward Lilycove.

Cody stepped back into the common room after a long day and plopped himself down on the armchair he claimed long ago. He held his pokeballs in his hand and spoke to them as if he were speaking to a person. "Great job today, guys. You all did a fantastic job." He clipped the balls back onto his belt and sunk into the chair.

Allen plopped down on the beach out near the water, the night air felt nice. Banette, still getting the feel of having arms drooped them down over Allen's head. "Neeeette~" She chimed, zipping and unzipping her mouth. Allen laughed aloud, reaching up to pet her. "I think I might finally give everyone a nickname." He lifted his head back and looked at her, "Would you like that?" She swung around and chimed again, "I'll take that as a yes."

His face deadpanned as he rushed inside. He even jogged into the common room, "Yo!" He threw his hand up in greeting. Banette followed behind him, she waved too, but it wasn't nearly as noticeable.
