Leo gave a soft sigh, this was getting more complicated than he thought. "For now at least. I don't want to place the burden of keeping this from Asher onto all of them. That would be asking for too much. I suppose we should tell them that we're going for a walk though. Just so they aren't worrying about us when we leave." he said softly, feeling terrible about all of this secrecy but Leo believed it was necessary.

"Maybe. I hope Sasha doesn't get jealous or anything, though," Chase joked, remembering how they began their relationship. "I'm sure they already assumed we're out on a walk, and Cherry probably already knows what's going on. We kinda have this almost-telepathic communication, but not quite." He just hoped she could keep secrets as well as he could. "So, how are we going to get there?"

Leo blushed a little, knowing this was a silly way to put it. "W-well, I can still hear her in my head. She said she can give us directions." he said softly, though it sounded more rediculous when the words left his lips.
~Trust me Chase. We can help him, all you have to do is follow my directions. Now if you know where the courthouse is downtown, start driving down that way!~ ((This is what Chase is supposed to hear in his own head))

"What the? Did you hear that?" Chase couldn't help but ask, though he was sure this was what Leo had been telling him about. "Nevermind. Let's go." He grabbed the boy's hand and led him to the car. Might as well get going while the directions were still fresh. Courthouse, courthouse...

Leo was a bit startled when he was yanked toward the car, but he didn't complain. "I'm glad I'm not the only one who heard her in my head. I thought I was going crazy." he said with a small laugh.
~Yes, head toward the courthouse across the street from the farmers market. I will guide you from there.~

After helping Leo into the passenger seat and then getting into the driver seat himself, Chase started the car and began the drive to the courthouse. It was a pretty long drive, but they eventually got there. I'm at the courthouse. Are you still there? He felt a bit ridiculous, but if this was the only way they could communicate right now....

~Yes I am here. Find a place to park. There should be an alley way right next to the courthouse but the alley is too small for a car to fit. There's an old house at the end of the alley. That's where we are.~Leo stared at Chase, also hearing Rin speaking in his head as well. "An alley? I'm not too sure about this Chase. This just got a little more suspicious. We need to be careful."

Chase parked near the alley, but not so close that someone could attack. "That's what I got my lucky pen for. We'll just have to take Rin's word for it," he said, exiting the car and going to Leo's side to help him out. "Seems like an odd place to put a top-secret organization, though. Wouldn't an average citizen find such a place easily?"

Leo nodded, taking the hand that was extended to him and getting out of the car. "I'm sure there's some kind of explanation. Lets just go inside." he said softly, holding onto Chase's arm a little tightly so he wouldn't get lost or taken. Rin ran out from the alley to greet Leo and Chase rather ecstatically. "You both made it! Elsa would be so proud I gave you good directions." Rin said softly, giving Leo a tight hug that could match a rattle snake. "Come, I'll take you to Daniel. I hope you don't mind the appearance of the place. We don't get a lot of funding." She said as she led the way down the slightly muddy alley.

Chase followed Rin with Leo, keeping wariness of his surroundings. "So, Old Damican is part of this organization. What ability does he have?" he asked in hopes to start a conversation. The alleyway seemed to get darker and darker, and so it became creepier. He almost expected an ambush of sorts, though Rin seemed genuine in wanting to help them.

Rin looked over at Chase and gave a high pitched giggle. "Father doesn't have any abilities, silly! He's normal compared to the rest of us!" she said rather bubbly as her walk had an added bounce to it. "Sorry for all of the mud, we were almost flooded out with all of that rain a few days ago!" she said happily, going up the squeaky porch steps of the house at the end of the alley. "It's not much, but it's home." she said as she opened the door to the house. The outside really didn't match the inside of the house. Inside was warm and inviting, like a real home, the outside looked like a horror movie. "You can sit wherever you like. I'll let Daniel know your here!"Leo followed Chase and looked up toward him when Rin left. "Am I hearing things? Or did she just call Daniel 'father'?" he asked softly, not quite sure where all of the furniture was in the room and staying with Chase.

Chase led Leo to the couch and took a seat next to him. "You're not hearing things, but I'm kinda confused. Rin looks too young to be Old Damican's daughter and Old Damican has no abilities. It seems off," he said, a bit anxious about seeing the old man again. "Strangely homely place for an organization. Is this really the crime-fighting unit?" If this was based off movies, there might be an more high-tech basement or something along those lines.

Leo could smell that the air was stale and old, this place didn't have new things in it. Everything was quite aged. "I don't know, something isn't adding up. But I bet Damican will explain. I don't want to go anywhere in here with him unless he answers our questions." he said softly, still keeping close to Chase just in case.

When Rin had told him that Leo and his friend had arrived, Daniel almost rushed to the waiting room. Before he entered, he dusted himself and put on a pleasant smile. "Greetings, young men. I'm glad you've decided to come," he said as he took a seat on one of the chairs. "So, I suppose you have questions. Feel free to ask, but I have limits to how much I can reveal."

Leo heard Daniel's voice and became nervous, he wasn't sure about this man yet. He still felt like something was off about him. "W-well...first....why is your organization in an alley? I thought it was like a skyscraper or something, since you said it was funded by the government and all." He said quietly, finding his voice after a few minutes of nervousness.
